Picking Up A Early One!

Welcome to my weekend 🎈
I actually slept through the whole night without waking up!!!!!
I am not holding out that I won't end up sleeping on the sofa in the next few days!
 Hug and brew time.
 My stronger needles came \o/
We had breakfast.
Got dressed.
Time to drop one son off at his Boxing lesson↓
 Wearing my new spotty dress↓
 I dropped off a Flintstone's facemask to a good friend.
Then off down to Studley to look in the Charity Shop that had reopened.
We were so lucky.
First Christmas present bought for one son!
Enjoyed a coffee from the Co-op↓
  I also got some hand wash and hand lotion↓
 Picks up son from his Boxing lesson.
All nice and sweaty.
Gets home to read the newspaper↓
 Honor Blackman  was an English actress, widely known for the roles of Cathy Gale in The Avengers (1962–1964), Bond girl Pussy Galore in Goldfinger (1964), Julia Daggett in Shalako (1968) and Hera in Jason and the Argonauts (1963). She is also known for her role as Laura West in the ITV sitcom The Upper Hand (1990–1996).She would have been 95 years old 🎈
She died aged 94 in April 2020.

 I gets my neighbour's shopping list.
Off we go to get our and his shopping↓
 We come back.
I give his shopping and change.
I will get his Ham Hock tomorrow from Asda

Follow That Ex!

Welcome to my weekend 🍾
 Day off from the walking...
Still had Brew with hug.
Breakfast.
Dressed.
Out for a small ride in Sexy Beast before it gets too hot↓
 
 Off to Asda to get something for lunch↓
 Back for the first coffee of the day with nibble↓
 I went back out to get something for my next door neighbour↓
 It's getting warm!!!!
I have some nice material delivered to do more face masks with↓
 My ex-husband comes over to see our kids.
Goes off for a walk to town.
Comes back for coffee and chat in the front garden.
Social distancing done.
Ex-husband and current husband in the garden↓
 He leaves with a bag of apples off the tree.
Light lunch time↓

 Dustin  Hoffman  is an American actor and filmmaker. He is known for his versatile portrayals of antiheroes and emotionally vulnerable characters. Actor Robert De Niro described him as "an actor with the everyman's face who embodied the heartbreakingly human".He is 83 years old 🎈
 Glen  Campbell  was an American singer, guitarist, songwriter, television host, and actor. He was best known for a series of hit songs in the 1960s and 1970s, and for hosting The Glen Campbell Goodtime Hour on CBS television from 1969 until 1972. He released 64 albums in a career that spanned five decades, selling over 45 million records worldwide, including twelve gold albums, four platinum albums, and one double-platinum album.He died aged 81 in 2017.

 We got back home.
Put the shopping away.

 Someone dropped his rice all over the floor↓
 It reminded me of the time when me and a ex-boyfriend went out for a meal.He tried to cut his steak, the result of that, loads of peas shooting off his plate, across the table and onto the floor ........
Henry had to pay a quick visit....↓
  We carried on watching NYPD Blue with my sleep tea↓
 "You could at least take off your cowboy hats off in bed!" said Karen "Yee Haw!" shouted Randy.↑↑↑↑

Going Back In Time To The 60s

A little bit of a lie-in...
Then it's hug and brew time↓
 Breakfast.
Dressed.
Then out to do some shopping before it starts to rain↓
  Facemask at the ready↓
 It didn't help the hand scanners were out of order!
Everyone was wearing their facemasks.
I still got the nice toilet roll...↓
 Off to get our meat order,
As we have made room in our freezer now.
Back home before the rain starts↓
First cup of coffee↑↑↑
The bread maker was put on to make a nice loaf for later↓
Started to write yesterday's blog post.

 Made my friend's 60th Birthday cake.

 Off to do the shopping for the week at Lidl
(As well as my neighbour's shopping)
 We wore out facemasks.
Two men walked in without their's.
Another man came in without his.
While we were paying for our shopping, two women had joined the queue without wearing their's either.
I dropped my neighbour's shopping around to him.
Back on the boxset with a dose of Sleep tea↓
Charlie  Rich was an American country music singer, songwriter, and musician. His eclectic style of music was often difficult to classify, encompassing the rockabilly, jazz, blues, country, soul, and gospel genres.
In the later part of his life, Rich acquired the nickname the Silver Fox. He is perhaps best remembered for a pair of 1973 hits, "Behind Closed Doors" and "The Most Beautiful Girl". "The Most Beautiful Girl" topped the U.S. country singles charts, as well as the Billboard Hot 100 pop singles charts and earned him two Grammy Awards. Rich was inducted into the Memphis Music Hall of Fame in 2015.He died aged 62 in 1995.
