My son then tried to practice for his GCSE food assessment.
3 tries of  making pastry failed.
3 foot stamps, he threw his chief jacket in the hallway and went upstairs to his bedroom.
No more plain flour or butter left.
Off to Asda to get some more!
(I make sure I wear my mask and social distance while I am in there!)
Some people had their masks under their chins, some were not covering their noses.
10 mins and we were out of there and back home.
My story wasn't read out on the Confessions.
Fingers crossed it will soon.
My son  didn't want to try again.
He tidied up the kitchen and put on the dish washer.

I did a bit of walking up and down the path.
Loaded up the dishwasher and put it on.
Now for coffee....
Now to get yesterday's blog post wrote.
The playlist was shuffled and singing helped with sense of humour I need to write the blog post.
Just 2 posts short of 2400 published blog posts!
Trying to find that seahorse pattern.
One was $5!!!
I finally found one!
It was free!
Let's see what I can do with that!
Got in touch with my union on whether I have to change from one county to another...
Waiting for the response to it.
By time I finished writing the blog post.
I had a early lunch.
I had to click and collect some shopping from Asda.
(My son has his GCSE food assessment this Friday, so he needed more things.
He is practicing again tomorrow at home to get under the 2 hours he needs.)
Hands were washed and I wore my facemask when I collected it. I was lucky, there was only another couple there loading up their car.
I went past my late dad's house, and the driveway was still full of cars!
Back home.
Tea at 3
My magazine came, and time for a quick read of it before I start on the tea.
Another meat-free tea tonight.
Hubby came home.
He had a sloppy wet one from me.
I had a big hug in return....

The episode was called: No Room to Move
We downloaded the first series.

Landfill In My Living Room.
Sleep tea time.
We watched half of the second episode called:
Trapped By My Trash.
Both my parents were hoarders.
I do hoard but not to the state of not be able to get into my house!!!
As the younger brother said last year just after our dad passed away...
"We have to clear out 50 years of crap out of the house!"
Nice as normal coming from him!
He even said of my house:
"You could fill a six bedroomed house with your crap, and still need a bigger house!"
I won't comment on his hoarding problem just yet.....😶😶
Let's hope we have a sunny Hump tomorrow 🐫

What A Day I Had!!!

Don't accept rides from strange men, and remember that all men are strange - Robin Morgan
Welcome to my Hump of the Week 🐪
Going to be the tales of two halves today....
Sit down, put the seat belt on, and lets go together for a interesting ride...
That lavender knocked me out \o/
Slept like a log all night...
Now for↓
 Brew and Hug.
Breakfast.
Dressed.
We ran out of time for the walk.
I gave hubby a sloppy wet 💋 before he went to work.
I had a blood test to go for..
Out in Sexy Beast I went↓
Once I got the newspaper, onto Bromsgrove I went. However I ended up playing cat and mouse with a black Mini.
Who tried was trying to out fox me.
Once I got on the Bromsgrove Highway, he stumped up some speed (From somewhere) and over took me before going up the hill.
I came down the hill, and overtook him.
(He not like that at all)
He put his pedal to the metal and proceeded to go past me at speed (90+ mph)
(I wasn't going to break speed limits to get to him, I'm not in a rush!)
He then stopped in the outer lane for 4 miles until he got to the big island and pushed in front of 3 cars to get into the inside lane....
After that I get to the hospital.
I was a bit early, so I peaked inside the newspaper↓
Jet Black (born Brian John Duffy) is an English drummer and founding member of punk rock and new wave band The Stranglers. Since 2015, he has been a non-touring member of the band.He is 82 years old 🎈
With my mask on, I went into the hospital↓
I washed my hands when I went in.
There was a one way  to the blood test department. I had my temperature read, and contact details read. No numbers given out to due COVID-19. I was the second person to go in.
I was called in. Gave the nurse my NHS number, she looked up on the computer and said:
"We don't do Doctor referrals for blood tests no more, but as you are here, I will do it!".
(Great, no one told me about this change!)
At that point of the conversation, she was having a bad day, and it was going to be took out on me. She first tried getting blood out of my right arm, with no luck. She then tried on the left arm.
"Lie full down!" She shouted at me.
Getting blood out of my arm doesn't normally hurt this much, it did this time.
"If they can't get blood out of your arm at your doctors, you will have to go the your Alexander Hospital for it!" She told me when I got up and grabbed my handbag.
(I had a nasty feeling I wasn't wanted back after that situation!)
At least the postive out of that, I didn't have to pay for car parking!
I went to my near-by Post Office to post the face masks I made to Wales↓
It was nice to chat to a friendly face after that encounter earlier on.
Off to Asda to get some things for the cake I am making tomorrow↓
A woman got a trolley before me. She then went to wipe down her trolley. However as she held the top of the bottle↓
The bottom of the bottle came away, fell to the floor, and all the contents went all over the carpet! She was not best pleased!
After she went, I wiped the trolley down and washed my hands.
Got my bits.
Chatted to the cleaner. It has been over a 12 months since I saw him last. I did a loud laugh which echoed around the store....
I told him to keep smiling...
And I headed off to pay. While I was waiting, a nice song came on the radio for me to sing along with:
Even the woman at the till enjoyed me singing...
She said,"It's the music in here, keeps me sane!".
I replied,"Well they haven't banned me from singing just yet!" I laughed.
It just started to rain when I got back.
Unloaded the shopping.
Now I need some coffee!
 I wrote yesterday's blog post.
Late lunch time↓
I was giving Julio the Janome a rest...
Instead I got a Apple Pie to defrost for later.
Mince, onions, and mushrooms were fried together and put in the oven.
Once hubby arrived back..
He had a sloppy red 💋
Dish up the grub↓
We started on Season 7 of NYPD Blue↓
Now onto work.
Starts with a big tune↓
I got back home, and jumped into a hot shower.
( I finally got the plaster off the nurse put over my left arm when she drew the blood)
It didn't look nice↓
I found some Witch Hazel that was over 12 years out of date. Oh well here goes↓
It stopped it hurting for the time beginning.
Sleep tea time↓
Onto making the cake for the LGBTQ Bake Off competition on Saturday tomorrow....
Fingers crossed nothing will go wrong in the baking part I hope!
