Doing Some Good Deeds!

Television is for appearing on, not for looking at - Noel Coward
Welcome to my Saturday Funday 👄
There was no "Sounds of the 60s" as the host, Tony Blackburn was unwell.
Oh well, time to do the Heardles.
Heardle 50s:
Heardle 60s:
My results:
Breakfast and Brew.
The thermal vest still went on.
Now to do some good deeds.
We gifted some books and household things to Charity in Stratford Upon Avon.
I had a look around and didn't actually buy anything.
We nipped into the local Morrisons to get the newspaper.
Good film ;)
Drink and nibble time.
We dropped more books at the National Trust for their Charity Book Shop.
On the way out, we noticed they are replacing 3 windows...
On the way home, I had to track down where DPD delivered my parcel yesterday.
I had no luck from the Customer Service of DPD yesterday, the place where my parcel I got from was no help either.
At least I got it!
Liquid lunch time.
Now to do the food shopping.
Someone was trying to go through the No Entry!
Then decided to go the right way out of the car park.
Rainbows in Lidl↓
Replaced the Budda in the hallway.
The old one lost it's head!
We had a look in Dunelm↓
Then back home we went.
Unloaded the shopping.
Started on doing the tea for later.
Some of the things we couldn't give to Charity was put on free on Facebook and they soon went!
In went the tea in the oven!
Quick look into the newspaper.
UK No.1 on this day in 1972:
Nilsson - Without You
UK No.1 on this day in 1978:
Kate Bush - Wuthering Heights
Tea was ready.
Mmmmm Chicken Stew.
Now to watch some telly!
Great programme.
Then we watched
Sleep Tea Time.
Feeling tired just after 12.30am.
Time for that warm bed....🛏

Back On Again!

When I turn up my hearing aid up to ten, I can hear a canary break wind six miles away - Sophia Petrillo, The Golden Girls.
Welcome to my Thursday 🌈
The sunshine is back 😎
Heardle Time.
Heardle 60s:
My answers:
Breakfast with Brew time.
On goes that Thermal vest.
However, I don't have to wear the sexy lumo trousers for now!
Out of the house I go.
On goes my winter coat, winter hat, and my big big sunglasses..
I get my newspaper.
I collect my big stick and go and put my lights on .
Now long to go...
Now to go to work...🍭
Plenty of BOINGs given out.
Lots of last minute stops as well.
Everyone talking about tomorrow's Christmas market and the switch on.
Everyone asked about what am I wearing....
"It involves sequins.".....I responded.
Finished in one piece.
I went down to Co-op.
The Christmas Tree was there,
The Christmas lights turn on is tomorrow.
Did my little shop.
Back home.
I put on the coffee machine.
Now to make a Chicken Tray Bake for tonight's tea.
Once that was all done.
Quick coffee.
I made a Apple Crumble.
In the oven it went.
Light lunch time.
It started to rain.
The sexy lumo trousers had to be worn.
Now for part two.
Goes and puts on my lights.
Comes back and waits for my friends to arrive.
Raining quite heavily.
Then a rainbow appeared....
Hubby meanwhile got a double rainbow at work.
It stopped raining.
Now for the fun of Low Lying Sun.
A few BOINGs given out.
Plenty stopping in the KEEP CLEAR space.
Finished in one piece.
The road I use will be closed tomorrow.
Now to take off the winter coat!
Back home.
Cup of brew needed.
Put the oven on.
Did some alternations to my outfit:
While watching the two remaining Hotel Inspector episodes on the planner.
Hubby came home and had a sloppy wet one 💋
Time to dish up the Chicken Traybake.
Mmmmmm
Lovely.
Now to look into today's newspaper.
US No.1 on this day in 1973:

The apple crumble was so nice ;)
