Too Much Of The Little Things!

There is no such thing as a little garlic - Arthur Baer
Welcome to my Sunday 💓
Breakfast with Brew.
Dressed.
Out for a little ride.
Hubby fills up his car with fuel.
Then onto see my mum and dad.
*Spooky Alert*
We were at the end of the line of graves.
No one around and we heard a woman cough.
Nobody was around and we both heard it!
Slowly back to the car.
We go to get hubby's tyres pumped up.
One woman was dragging it out so no one could use her spare minutes of air.
Hubby pumped up his tyres.
Coffee and nibble time.
Then back home.
Washing machine went on.
Dishwasher was unloaded and loaded up.
Hubby started to collect all the old branches from under our living room and take them down the tip.
I wrote Friday's blog post.
Light lunch.
Then wrote yesterday's blog post.
Hubby was getting quotes for a new gravestone for the six relations buried in the burial plot.
I might carry on writing June blog posts as this week, I have full Council Meeting on Tuesday night, and got to make two cakes for the Bake off on Friday:
I had a light lunch.
Then I went back to writing 3 more blog posts from June.
Hubby got on with the tea.
I made the stuffing.
Just finished writing a July blog post when tea was ready.
Now to catch up with Priscilla....
We had  45 minutes left to watch.
Next up
Oh dear, I can't get the time back for watching this....not recommended this one.
Sleep Tea Time.
Back on the Wobbly Work Wheel 🎡 tomorrow.
&
Baking cakes with Kenny!

Trying To Keep The Cold Out!

"A lovely thing about Christmas is that it’s compulsory, like a thunderstorm, and we all go through it together." - Garrison Keillor
Welcome to my Sunday 💓
We had a bit of a lie in...
On this day back in 2010.
We had 20 cms of snow....
I am hoping we won't have that much this Christmas!
Then it was time for Breakfast with Brew.
The thermal vest went on!
So did the kettle....
(As the Coffee Machine has now stopped working, and waiting for the new one to arrive)
Coffee Time!
Now to try to make the house warmer!
We added another thermal lining to the living room curtain...
Hoping that helps with the draughts from the window!
Changed our bedroom curtains to the yellow curtains from the Living Room, as they are three layered curtains.
Hoping it will keep the bedroom warm now!
Light lunch time!
Out for some fresh air in the rain!
First was to check my tyre pressures.
Then in the rain we went to see my mum and dad.
Oh the surprise I had, my other two siblings haven't added a wreath of those own....
One of them might turn up on Christmas Eve with his own and hopefully won't try to nick mine!
(As everytime he comes up, he like to help himself to something I have put on our parent's grave!)
I had a conversation with my parents.
Then headed back home in the rain.
Hubby started on the tea.
I had another Faux Fur Wreath to do.
Then I added to our bedroom wall.
Tea was ready.
We watched the Best Christmas Cake and Best Christmas Jumper episodes.
Now for some highlights of Morecambe and Wise...with Andre Previn...
If you want to read the back story to it.

Goes In With A Basket....

Biologically speaking, if something bites you, it is more likely to be female - Desmond Morris.
Welcome to my Sunday 💓
We got up early to have breakfast out.
Where has the sun gone?
I didn't have the fried breakfast.
Everyone did.
The kids went for free.
I chatted with the waitress when I paid for the Breakfast. She commented when she was working through Covid Lockdown at another pub.
One man wouldn't give his details for Track and Trace and threated to slap her is he wasn't allowed in. She said he was on camera and the Police be called if he raises his hand to her.
He suddenly left after that.
I said,"You have more patience than me!"
Then off to see my mum and dad.
Dropped the kids back home.
We went back out.
Hope it isn't going to rain!
Robin came in to look at the Bird food section.
Got all the bits what I wanted.
Going to pop next door to the other Garden Centre.
Goes in with a basket, and to change it for a trolley instead!
Gets home.
Unpacks all the things I got.
Coffee time.
We did the Heardles before we started on the garden.
Heardle 60s:
My son's answers:
Potted all the plants in the garden.
Hubby added some jam to the wasp catchers, we hung them up in the Plum Tree.
Once finished.
We had a light tea.
Now for more telly watching..
then onto Talking Pictures...
Next up...
Really good film!
