Trying To Keep The Cold Out!

"A lovely thing about Christmas is that it’s compulsory, like a thunderstorm, and we all go through it together." - Garrison Keillor
Welcome to my Sunday 💓
We had a bit of a lie in...
On this day back in 2010.
We had 20 cms of snow....
I am hoping we won't have that much this Christmas!
Then it was time for Breakfast with Brew.
The thermal vest went on!
So did the kettle....
(As the Coffee Machine has now stopped working, and waiting for the new one to arrive)
Coffee Time!
Now to try to make the house warmer!
We added another thermal lining to the living room curtain...
Hoping that helps with the draughts from the window!
Changed our bedroom curtains to the yellow curtains from the Living Room, as they are three layered curtains.
Hoping it will keep the bedroom warm now!
Light lunch time!
Out for some fresh air in the rain!
First was to check my tyre pressures.
Then in the rain we went to see my mum and dad.
Oh the surprise I had, my other two siblings haven't added a wreath of those own....
One of them might turn up on Christmas Eve with his own and hopefully won't try to nick mine!
(As everytime he comes up, he like to help himself to something I have put on our parent's grave!)
I had a conversation with my parents.
Then headed back home in the rain.
Hubby started on the tea.
I had another Faux Fur Wreath to do.
Then I added to our bedroom wall.
Tea was ready.
We watched the Best Christmas Cake and Best Christmas Jumper episodes.
Now for some highlights of Morecambe and Wise...with Andre Previn...
If you want to read the back story to it.
Read this:
Still funny after all these years...
Now to look into today's newspaper:

Knowing More Than I Did Before!

A guy knows he's in love when he loses interest in his car for a couple of days - Tim Allen
Welcome to my Magic Saturday 🎇
Had enough of the snores coming from Sleeping Beauty.
So I slept badly on the sofa.
Lots of ...
Got up before Sounds of the 60s was about to start.
Cup of brew time!
I listened to "Sounds of the 60s" while catching up with the blog!

Sweets For My Sweet - The Searchers.
2:
Frank Ilfield - Confessin' That I Love You
1:
Elvis Presley - Devil in Disguise
Sleeping Beauty came down and we had breakfast together. I was so tired from not having enough sleep.
I went off back to catch up on some sleep.
In the meantime, hubby dropped off son at work, and got the newspaper.
I woke up later on.
Dressed.
I enjoyed a much needed coffee in the front garden.
Then for lunch.
Then out in Sexy Beast to check it's tyre pressures.
Before we left, I heard a man shouting from the otherside of the fence.
As I reversed off my drive, a man who shouting at a woman in a white long volvo in the car park of the factory next to us.
Does the tyre pressures.
Goes back home.
Man is still shouting at the woman in the car.
I grab my Crystal Healing folder.
Hubby phones the Police about the Domestic happening.
Off I go to, my course I am doing at:
There was only 5 including Joe.
Really enjoyed the course!
Learn more about crystals too :)
Back home.
The Police did come and talk to the man on his own for a good 30 minutes.
The man and woman then left together.
Nice sit in the garden to collect my thoughts!
With a much needed lolly!
We did the Heardles while we were chilling.
Heardle 60s:
My son's answers were:

I take our two sons out, while hubby waits in for the Tiler to come.
There was too much traffic around for the time of the morning. I tried to get into a lane, and no one would let me in, so I did to go around another island and head back to the island I needed to go around!
Drops one son off at work.
Then off to Sainsburys we go.
Got some bits and pieces.
Now round to see mum and dad.
One 7 balloon had gone down from last week.
Said goodbye to my parents.
Off to Lidl we go.
Where has all of the crisps gone?
Overlockers in↑
Sewing Threads in as well.
Got our bits and pieces.
Back home.
The Tiler was doing a great job.
Got all of the old tiles off the walls.
Now to put on the new tiles.
We all were sorting out the front garden.
Putting holes in the bottom of the plant pots.
Hubby got all the leaves up and put them in the composters.
I went out to have a chat with Joe's sister.
There was a nice sunset....
I said goodbye to Joe's sister and went back home.
The Tiler has done a great job.
He will be finishing it tomorrow \o/
We might just have enough tiles for the final wall.
We caught up with the final of season 20 of Hell's Kitchen.
Tea time.
Then 4 episodes of Top Of The Pops from 1991.
