The Limbo Dancers Are Back!

My wife and I keep fighting about sex and money. I think she charges me too much - Rodney Dangerfield
Welcome to aboard my Wobbly Work Wheel 🎡
Nice big stretch to start Monday with \o/
Heardle time.
Heardle 60s:
My answers:
Brew and Breakfast time!
Dressed.
Now time to leave...
I gives hubby a sloppy wet one 💋
Hardly any good music on the radio to listen to.
Time to put a good song on repeat all the way to work!
I gets my newspaper.
Then I put on the Big Coat.
(As it was supposed to rain the whole I was working!)
Flowers laid, Flag at half mast.
Goes and puts on my lights.
Lights turned on,
Let's go to work!
I am starting five minutes early.
I crossed over 15 people in the first five minutes.
Then the fun started.
One white car went under my big stick.
BOING!
The car suddenly stopped.
It looked at his mirror and saw me growling!
It carried on with its journey.
Then a grey car done the limbo again.
BOING I went!
I was having a right mare with the car drivers failing to stop.
I might having to put glitter on to get the cars to stop!
Finally finished in one piece!
Back home I go.
Coffee machine goes on.
Washing machine as well.
First I need the coffee...
Looks out the front door.
Drive is blocked again!
Gets on making the tea for tonight.
Leeks wrapped in ham, in cheese sauce.
That put in the oven for later.
Light lunch time.
Now to hope the afternoon shift is a lot better than this morning!
More singing along with some BIG SONGS
Puts on my summer coat.
Turns on lights.
Gets my lollypop, collects my big stick.
Now to enjoy my lolly...
Both friends came for a Rabbit!
I said goodbye to my friends.
Not to start the afternoon shift.
Oh dear, it just carried on from the morning!
Lots of BOINGs given out.
I actually lowered the big stick, and they stopped!
10 minutes before I finished.
Someone parks on the double yellow lines, blocking my view!
Finished in one piece.
Back home.
Time for a brew!
Puts the oven on.
I write yesterday's blog post.
Hubby comes back and has a sloppy wet one 💋
Dishes up the tea.
Yum!
I look into today's newspaper.
UK No.1 on this day in 1963:
The Beatles - She Loves You
UK No.1 on this day in 1970:
Smokey Robinson and The Miracles - The Tears of A Clown
UK No.1 on this day in 1998:
All Saints - Bootie Call.
We did some scrolling of programmes on Paramount +.
Some good ones on there to watch later.
We will have to clear our Sky player as we only have 3% left!
Sleep Tea time.
Let's hope I have a better day tomorrow!

Nice Bit Of Luck!

Ducking for apples. Change one letter and it's the story of my life - Dorothy Parker.
Welcome to my Thursday 🍰☕
Nice warm hug to start the day off with :)
Brew with breakfast.
Time to add the thermal vest.
I had covered up Sexy Beast last night.
The temperatures didn't go down to freezing.
Two winter hats and big big gloves go on.
I put on my lights.
Now for fun time 🍭
One woman in a black fiat 500 goes under my stick, and then takes off both hands off her steering wheel, and shows me her palms!!!!!
Who is steering her car???
Still have the limbo dancers chancing their luck under my big stick!
Especially them on the other side of the road!
I survived!
I picks up newspaper on the way home.
Quick coffee.
I told my youngest son to keep an ear out for the DPD delivery man.
Off I go to enjoy a coffee morning with friends.
Picks up one friend.
Now to meet another one there.
I bring a empty Hero's tub to put the cake in, to take home for the 3 men of the family.
I have a slice of cake, and coffee.
I bought my own blue milk with me.
I am joined with my two friends I have a chat with in the afternoon 👄💬
I have a go on the raffle.
One friend said, "I will laugh if you win first prize!"
We get our photo took to go in the local newspaper next week.....
(I'm sure some people will use my photo as a dart board!)
I said "Goodbye" to everyone.
I said see ya later to my friend.
I dropped the other friend home.
Back home I go.
I finished the soup off I made yesterday.
The DPD driver couldn't or wouldn't find my house.
It has to be delivered elsewhere tomorrow again!
I went upstairs before I was due to leave.
I came back down and had a miscall.
I phoned them back, and found out:
I had won First prize in the raffle :)
I will pick it up when I go down in a minute.
Round 2 time.
Goes and picks up the First Prize from the Library. I have a chat with everyone in there.
Leaves it in Sexy Beast.
My friend parks next to me.
I asked if she had a phone call, she said no.
I ask her to look on the front seat.
She laughed, and said, "You didn't win first prize?"
"Yep!".
We then walk up to turn on my lights.
Back to our normal spot and was joined by our other friend for a rabbit....
We say goodbye to each other.
Now to let the fun start 🍭
Oh dear, here we go with the Limbo dancers.
One went straight under my stick, so low, I could have took off his car ariel!
The cars are the otherside ain't stopping either!
Then a car goes past , and the passenger (grandson) throws out half eaten apple out of his window!
That could have hit me!
Glad I finished in one piece!
Hometime.
I starts writing one of two blog posts.
Inbetween doing that, on goes the tea as well.
Hubby comes home and a big wet one 💋
Tea is served up...
There were four empty plates :)
Quick look in the newspaper.
