I caught up with the blog.
I listened to Pick of the Pops on Radio 2.
This week's chart run down was from 1968.
There were a few songs I would have liked them to play, but they didn't :(
I however will now↓
Ohio Express - Yummy Yummy
Dave Dee,Dozy,Beaky,Mick & Tich - Last Night in Soho
The Number 1 was:
Mony Mony - Tommy James & The Shondells

The following year was 1979.
The following songs were in the chart,
But wasn't played:
The Korgis - If I Had You
 Darts - Duke Of Earl
Supertramp - Breakfast in America
The Dooleys - Wanted
The number 1 was:
Boomtown Rats - I Don't Like Mondays
I started to get the evening's meal sorted↓
Cup of tea time while it baked in the oven↓
The homemade Steak and Kidney pie was ready!
I carried on making pom poms.
I couldn't find any Law and Order to watch.
So I bought the whole season 19 off Amazon to watch on our firestick!
Now to binge watch a few episodes without the adverts!
After 4 episodes, it stopped carrying on to the next episode and asked if we wanted to watch more?
My answer was↓
After watching 7 episodes,
It was off to bed to carry on where we left off this morning πŸ’‹πŸ’‹

Waiting For The Bird To Sing...

A dad is someone you should look up to no matter how tall you grow - Unknown
It was so nice to wake up with hubby....
He had the week off work and getting up early was no longer a choice...
We had cuddles before we got out of the warm bed....
Plus tea....
We got up,
Opened all the windows,
Got kids up....
We did a quick walk to fetch the newspaper

That's better!
Then off to see my Dad.
He was having a visit from the Doctor as his chest infection wasn't clearing up....
 Nice cup of coffee↑
 What we used before Internet!
My brother's Birthday card still unopened...↑
(His Birthday was on the 23rd February)
While tidying up my dad's living room I came across a Johnny Cash tour programme from 1972↓
While my hubby stayed with dad,
I got ready to go to work↓
 Where has the sun gone?????
 When I got back,
I made a Beef,mushroom pie.
Hubby came back,
His part of the pie didn't touch the sides!
It was a quite a sad day for my hubby...
It was the 23rd anniversary of his mum passing away..:(
We are going over to see his dad in Kidderminster tomorrow as his dad is celebrating his 74th Birthday...
Another film to watch....
I had a quick look at the Birthdays...
Roy  Orbison : was an American singer, songwriter, and musician known for his impassioned singing style, complex song structures, and dark, emotional ballads. The combination led many critics to describe his music as operatic, nicknaming him "the Caruso of Rock" and "the Big O". While most male rock-and-roll performers in the 1950s and 1960s projected a defiant masculinity, many of Orbison's songs instead conveyed vulnerability. During performances, he was known for standing still and solitary and for wearing black clothes to match his dyed jet-black hair and dark sunglasses; all of this lent an air of mystery to his persona.
He would have been 83 years old.
(He died aged 52 in 1988)
Lee Majors : is an American film, television and voice actor. Majors is best known for portraying the characters of Heath Barkley in the American television Western series The Big Valley (1965–1969), Colonel Steve Austin in the American television science fiction action series The Six Million Dollar Man (1973–1978), and Colt Seavers in American television action series The Fall Guy (1981–1986).
He is 80 years old.
John Miles (born John Errington): Is a British rock music vocalist, songwriter, guitarist and keyboard player, best known for his 1976 Top 3 UK hit single, "Music". He won the "Outstanding Musical Achievement" award at the 2017 Progressive Music Awards.
He is 70 years old.
Sir John Mills, CBE (born Lewis Ernest Watts Mills: was an English actor who appeared in more than 120 films in a career spanning seven decades. On screen, he often played people who are not at all exceptional, but become heroes because of their common sense, generosity and good judgment. He received an Academy Award for Best Supporting Actor for his work in Ryan's Daughter (1970).
He died aged 97 in 2005.
Fatboy Slim releases single "Weapon of Choice", music video directed by Spike Jonze starring Christopher Walken dancing in 2001
