On this day, five years ago,

It was my mum's funeral...

Out of her three children...

I see her a lot more times...

Anyway on a brighter note....

Sunshine & Vitamin D time..

Vitamin C 

I robbed Peter to pay Paul to buy some clothes for our children.

Then the bird comes out ...↓↓

 Off for a walk in the sunshine...

 

 

 After tidying up my dad's kitchen.

I soaked up some sun's rays in his garden.

 Then I went to talk to my dad.

We watched a great film...

My dad said:

"I remember going to watch it at he Danilo cinema when it first came out in 1955."

Then my lift arrived... 

Back home to hear the bird singing...

 Dished it up...

 Catching up with some more...

 My youngest son is helping the Year 6's tomorrow with foreign languages...

 I just about remember some Spanish

from being at school....30 years ago...

 

Enjoying The Pink!

Welcome to my Monday...

What better to start of the morning with...

I went to get another blazer for my youngest as he starts High School next year.

(Best to be prepared, as the blazers normally cost £34+ each)

(His one was half price \o/)

It was a good job I got my other son his blazer for High School at the beginning of the month as the school shop I normally go, wasn't going to have any in now for the new ↓Year 9's↓

Going back to the car, I bumped into 3 ex-posties who I used to work with.

Nice to talk about the old days 😁

At least I got the items I need to do my bathroom....

Plus a special treat for our garden....🏡

To finish my Monday off with a dash of Pink in the bath....

 

 Bath 💣 time!

 

Adding More Pink!

We took Larry for a ride out...

  Plenty of lovely pink items at Asda

  To help with my pink themed kitchen!

 Then to help my Dad tidy his patio area up

More fresh air by picking the ripe black berries in the front garden!

Back to sprinkling lots of Friday Feeling tomorrow

(especially over my kids after completing the four mile walk...)

 

Showing Off My White Bits!!

The sun has finally come back...

The big sunglasses came out, and so did my white bits!

I went for a nice half an hour walk around the nearby lake.

The walk of woe I call it. 

Walking off all the stress I had this week!

After a hot,sweaty day at work.

Time to enjoy my garden, in the shade

with a lolly!

Welcome to November.

We was up too early on a Sunday...

We had breakfast out.

When we got back, time to tidy the garden!

A few trees needed chopping back.

Leaves needed going into the composter.

After nearly 6 hours of playing in the garden,

And 2 trips to the Household tip (with the tree branches).

We were finished.

Now time for a much deserved cup of tea.

As it back to work and school tomorrow! 

 

Using my Warm Hands...

Today, I have been having loads of fun!!!

I played with Henry the Hoover,

Danced with mop while I moped the floor.

Even chilled in my garden in the lovely sunshine.,

listening to the birds sing.

Done a healthy tea

Spinach, red onion, garlic, ginger, with mince.

All wrapped in a warm wholemeal tortilla wrap.

 Now to use my warm hands on my ever willing hubby ;P
