Surprised By Flowers!

Tact is the knack of making a point without making an enemy -
Issac Newton
Welcome to my Thursday 🌺🌼🌹🌸
Brew with Breakfast.
The thermal vest went on once more.
Not so many layers.
(Rumour has it,it's going to be quite warm this afternoon!)
I didn't have to cover up Sexy Beast either!
Now out of the door.
I gives hubby a wet sloppy one before I leave.
I still wore 2 hats and my big big gloves!
I put on my lights.
Let's get ready to roll 🍭
The first ten minutes was bedlam!
Cars doing the limbo dance under my stick.
BOING,BOING, BOING my stick went.
The cars are the otherside wasn't either stopping either, just putting their hand up when they went past me!
Suddenly a woman wearing a orange coat wanted to cross the road.
She handed me some nice flowers and a card and said:
"You do such a good job keeping the children safe, here are some flowers and a card from all of us at the school!"
I was quite gobsmacked
"Good job? Do I!" I replied.
"Yes you do, and we so appreciate it!"
"Must be doing something right, I am still here!"
I thanked her, and crossed her back over the road.
All the parents I crossed over, agreed with the Head Teacher, that I do a good job.
I was just amazed, as I am not used to compliments but just car drivers trying to kill me!
Finished in one piece.
I picked up the newspaper on the way home.
On goes the coffee machine.
Now to find the flower vase....
I sent the school the above photo, and thanked them for making my day!
Coffee time!
Now to make the next batch of soup.
Put on the soup maker.
"ERROR" kept coming on.
Emptied more mixture out of it.
3 more times it kept saying "ERROR"
I gave the lid a good clean and put it back on.
It worked that time.
I started yesterday's blog post.
I ended up having a jug full of soup and 2 bowls of soup as well.
One bowl went into the microwave to heat up for lunch.
I had a letter from my Prison Pen Pal from the USA.
Younger son has nearly completed his 1500 piece jigsaw puzzle.
Now out for the second time.
One winter hat, no gloves, and the big big sunglasses came out.
I put on my lights.
It's going to be some fun with low lying sun!
Now it's rabbit time with my two friends.
I said goodbye to them.
Now for more fun to have 🍭
Lots of BOINGs were given out!
Lots of parents asked "Who was the parent that nearly took me out last Monday?"
I pointed to the Land Rover that just went past me at the exact point they asked me.
Nearly finished, crossing the last parent and child over, when we had to stop in the middle of the road,as a car on the otherside just kept driving....!
 Hometime for me!
Now for that cup of brew!
I carried on writing yesterday's blog post.

Getting tonight's tea sorted out.
Linguine was put a saucepan of hot water.
Fried up some mushrooms, peppers, garlic, and spinach.
Once the Linguine was done, dried off the water, added some cream cheese, and everything I fried up.
Mixed it altogether.
Served it up.
(Ate it too quickly to take a photo,
It was so nice!)
Hubby arrived with more flowers!
He had his tea.
I looked into today's newspaper.
Rock ‘n’ Roll legend, Buddy Holly (aged 22), was killed in a plane crash in Clear Lake, Iowa, USA. Also killed were two other rock ‘n’roll stars: Ritchie Valens (aged 17) and J. P. (“The Big Bopper”) Richardson (aged 28). Pilot Roger Peterson (aged 21) died, on this day in 1959.
USA No.1 on this day in 1972:
 Don McLean - American Pie
Gerry Rafferty's Baker Street was released on this day in 1978.
Then we watched Senior Darts.
Bob Anderson was playing.
Sleep Tea Time.
After we watched the darts.
The review of the newspapers was next.
Hubby's flowers was put next to the other ones.

Welcome to my Saturday 🍼
We woke up just in time to listen to
"Sounds of the 60s"
Nice warm hug to start Saturday with.
Brew with Breakfast.
Got kids up.
While one son was getting up, hubby dropped off the other son at work.
Once we were all ready...
Time to do some shopping...
We popped into Bromsgrove Argos for some more storage boxes...
Then onto Lidl's.
Nice price of a television.
Last one in store.
Bought myself some lovely flowers.
Gets back home to unpack the shopping.
Has a very light lunch.
My oldest son comes over with his pregnant girlfriend to collect the 5 bags of baby clothes I had washed.
I helped put them in the boot.
We started to sort out the Dining Room for an hour.
Then we had to go out and get some Magic Bags.
Tea.
Now back out to get some more Magic Bags.
It didn't help the box at the bottom opened up and the pasta sauce fell out and went splat all over the kitchen floor!
Some of the food is going to my Father-in-law on Monday.
Once tidied up, now to relax watching Kenny Everett
