Reaching Half A Century!

“At age 50, everyone has the face he deserves.” - George Orwell
Welcome to my 50th Birthday Party 🎈
Time to open the cards and presents!
Now to get dressed.
(thermal vest goes on)
Then it's Breakfast and Brew time!
I have 2 lovely cards and presents off my two sons.
Now to leave the house....
I gives hubby a wet sloppy one before I leave.
Two winter hats and big gloves go on.
I put on my lights.
Now for the fun to start!
The High School has got a TE day.
The other 3 schools are still open.
I had lots of Happy Birthdays greetings.
It might have been quiet for traffic,
still got cars doing the Limbo under my stick and just looking up to see if I can hit their car roof as they go under....
BOING,BOING,BOING went my stick!
At least I finished in one piece.
Picks up newspaper on the way home.
Dropped off the newspaper.
Now back out.
Coffee & Chat time.
Both of my friends were there,
(Who I chat to in the afternoon!)
More lovely cards and hand cream :)
Chat, coffee and toast :)
Once finished we all said to each other.
"See you later Alligator!"
Back home I go.
Now to put all the cards on display!
My younger brother dropped in a Birthday card through the letter box on Saturday.
He must have forgot my first name, as he just wrote Sister in my card!
Lunchtime.
Then back out for Round 2.
It forecasted rain while doing it.
On goes the sexy lumo trousers.
On goes the boots, two hats, and waterproof gloves.
I turn on my lights, and walk back to my two friends waiting.
Time for a Rabbit....
As soon as I say "Goodbye!"
It starts to rain.
On goes the hood.
I was crossing a dog walker over the road.
When the dog wouldn't go any further, the woman wasn't looking where the lead was, and tripped over the lead, straight on her face she went, I was in the middle of the road.I helped her up.
"The dog is frightened of your big stick,"She said dragging the dog past me.
I replied,"Most car drivers are frightened of my big stick as well!"
Lots of BOINGs been given out as some cars were just driving under my stick.
At least I finished in one piece.
&
Still raining!
Back home.
Now to get ready for the meal later on.
Hubby comes back for a wet one.
Time for rain mac....
3 Mixed Grills.
(I had sweet potato fries)
&
1 Lasagne.
I was too full for dessert.
The Kids still had their desserts.
We got home.
I had a tiny piece of Birthday Cake.
with my Sleep Tea.

- Sacha Guitry

But first hug and tea↓
 Trousers on.
Sloppy wet 💋💋💋 to everyone.
Now to get wet once more↓

I heard my Birthday request read out on the Breakfast show before I got out of the car.
Quick peak in the newspaper↓
Joe South  was an American singer-songwriter, guitarist, and record producer. Best known for his songwriting, South won the Grammy Award for Song of the Year in 1970 for "Games People Play" and was again nominated for the award in 1972 for "Rose Garden".He would have been 80 years old🎈
He died aged 72 in 2012

Oh dear going to get wet again!
One driver was going too fast and had to brake hard, when I was in the middle of the road!
One old car driver, totally ignored my lollipop stick up in the air, went underneath it, and parked up the road outside the newspaper shop. Then when he tried to pull out of his car parking space, he nearly got took out by a white van!
I still finished in one piece.
Now for some more singing in the rain!
At least I got my B3 space!

As I have given up chocolate and cake for Lent...
One normal coffee and some other nibbles↓
I had a good yak with my friend.
I got some nice presents and a birthday card for tomorrow :)
Then off into the rain I go with more singing to do↓
I look across the fields of the fun for the final time for the week↓

My ex co-worker who retired last July was back to help out (And me with the dinners) It was nice to see her again. She got me a present and card for tomorrow as well as other members of staff got me cards for tomorrow:)
I finished on time...
Back to singing in the rain on the way home↓
Still raining when I got home↓

My amazom orders came↓
Birthday cards and presents are here for tomorrow↓
 Coffee and nibble↓
Back with the sexy lumo trousers↓
I got flowers and a card off a nice lady before I started. I had to tie it to the handrail↓
Car drivers were still ignoring me!
Too much Friday Feeling.
I finish in one piece only to find a lorry blocking my drive.
I had to wait 15 minutes to get back on my own drive↓
This making me late for the Happy Place Of Work.
Needs some music to sing along with↓
 Once finished,
Time for tea↓

Back out for more singing along↓
 Once I got back.
I kicked off my rollers...
Snuggle time and waiting for my real Birthday tomorrow🎈
