When You Need More Than One Box Of.....

Feel the fear and do it anyway - Susan Jeffers

 Welcome to the Thursday Madness!
Hug and Brew time!
Breakfast.
Dressed.
No time for the daily walk.
I gave everyone their sloppy wet πŸ’‹πŸ’‹πŸ’‹.
Out I go...
Some nice pictures of the sunrise.
Now for the fun of Lollipopping!
One Sixth Former tried to cross the busy road.
When he couldn't he came over to me to cross him over.
"I don't like to stop the traffic," He said.
"I love stopping the traffic," I replied.
Stopping the traffic and getting him over the road safely.
Some parents were just ignoring me and crossing over the road further up the road!
Finished in one piece.
Now to post the Birthday Card.
Sent it off.
Back home.
Much needed coffee!
Now out for a sing-a-long.
Big big sunglasses time!
Quick read of the newspaper.

Banging The Rolling Pin...

The real voyage of discovery consists not in seeking new landscapes but in having new eyes - Marcel Proust
Welcome to my baking Thursday🎈
The rain isn't going away just yet :(
 Hug and brew time↑
Has breakfast.
Gets changed...
No daily walk today....
It's pouring down with rain↓
At least it's in the double figures↑
Once we got back...
 It was still raining↓
I got the Birthday card ready
Out in the rain once more.
 Nips into Lidl.
Oh dear here we go again ...
A man had loaded up his shopping on the belt, he just stood at the beginning of it, picked up a box of coffee, looked at it, sniffed it, and put it back. I had kept my 2 metres distance. The member of staff at the till was waiting for him to pay for his items, and I couldn' t put my things on the belt until he moved. Once I loaded my items onto the belt, he was loading his things into his shopping bag so slowly, and gawping at me the whole time!
(If he wanted a picture of me, he only had to ask!)
I paid for my shopping, and while he was loading his shopping into his car.He was still gawping at me when I went past....
Off to see my good friend, to wish her a Happy Birthday 🎈🎈🎈
 I had a good chat.
Back home in the rain↓
 Coffee time↓

Alison Moyet  is an English singer, songwriter and performer noted for her powerful bluesy contralto voice. She came to prominence as half of the duo Yazoo (also known as Yaz), but has since mainly worked as a solo artist. She is 59 years old 🎈
I made a Chicken & Mushroom pie using Filo pastry for the lid↓
Off to work before the rain starts again
A big tune to start with↓

The clouds are coming over, once I finished.

Tuesday Thinking

People do not change, they are merely revealed - Annie Enright
I didn't have my normal lie-in.
I had to squeeze in a trip to Morrisons to get some urgent supplies..
At least the sun is coming up!
I ran out of time to make my good friend a Birthday Card...
(At least I didn't forget ;))↓
I gets back just in time↓
 Quick coffee & Liquid Lunch
Before I go out again

 Those dark clouds are back..

Trying out a new CD to listen to.
It's a bit of a hit and miss on some of the songs. One of my favourites is on there..
I had a quick read of the newspaper↓

 Fingers crossed for dry weather
 The rain kept off \o/
Back on the road again...

I had to tip some water out of some garden pots and the poor plants were drowning in water.
After our tea, I went over to see my dad.
He had the normal moans about my younger brother not coming around enough to see him.
I did say stopping in bed causes a lot of over-thinking.....
He didn't listen and carried on with his moaning.
At least there was some pie to enjoy when we got back..
 Let's hope I don't have a troublesome Hump Day tomorrow 🐫
