I set to record a good film on Talking Pictures later on in the evening.
Lesley  Goldstein , known professionally as Lesley Gore, was an American singer, songwriter, actress, and activist. At the age of 16 (in 1963), she recorded the pop hit "It's My Party" (a US number one), and followed it up with other hits, including the hit "You Don't Own Me", and seven further Billboard top 40 hits.
She would have been 75 years old 🎈
She sadly died aged 68 in 2016.
Oliver Reed  was an English actor known for his upper-middle class, macho image and "hellraiser" lifestyle. Notable films include The Trap (1966), Oliver! (1968), Women in Love (1969), Hannibal Brooks (1969), The Devils (1971), portraying Athos in The Three Musketeers (1973) and The Four Musketeers (1974), playing a Teddy Boy in Tommy (1975), The Brood (1979), Lion of the Desert (1981), Castaway (1986), The Adventures of Baron Munchausen (1988), Funny Bones (1995) and Gladiator (2000). For playing Antonius Proximo, the old, gruff gladiator trainer in Ridley Scott's Gladiator in what was his final film, Reed was posthumously nominated for the BAFTA Award for Best Actor in a Supporting Role in 2000. At the peak of his career, in 1971, British exhibitors voted Reed 5th most popular star at the box office.
He sadly died on this day in 1999 aged 61

After lunch, time to search for a good film.
I will watch this great film this week↓
I watched another good film instead.
Looked into today's newspaper:
Melvyn Hayes (born Melvyn Hyams ) is an English actor and voice performer. He is best known for playing the effeminate Gunner (later Bombardier) "Gloria" Beaumont in the 1970s BBC sitcom It Ain't Half Hot Mum, the Cliff Richard musical films The Young Ones, Summer Holiday and Wonderful Life as well as Here Come the Double Deckers (1970–1971).
He is 86 years old 🎈

Belated Tea at 3.
I gave hubby a big sloppy wet 💋 when he got home.
Everyone else had Cornish Pasties.
I fancied something different!
Now another film to watch.
Great film...
I sent hubby off to bed as he was snoring on the sofa.
I had my sleep tea..
I watched the newspaper review.
Once I got ready for bed, suddenly everyone was up waiting to use the toilet!
Now to add the ear plugs....
