In Need Of A Boat Soon....

Ducking for apples. Change one letter and it's the story of my life - Dorothy Parker
Welcome to my Hump of the Week 🐫
It is forecasting rain all day....
Sexy lumo trousers????
Breakfast and Brew.
Dressed.
I looked out of the window before I left and it was raining...
On goes those sexy lumo trousers....
Quick rush out to Sexy Beast.
I gives hubby a sloppy wet one 💋 before I leave.
I had to go the other way to work as the road I normally use is still shut.
Waterproof shoes, winter coat and summer coat gets put on. I walk down to put on my lights in the rain. Then I walk up the road to put the other set of lights.
I came back to pick up my big stick.
Near my start time, I walked over to my spot in the wind and the rain. As it was right windy and a dash of rain, I didn't stick out big stick too far.
One red car just drove past it.
One BMW had a BOING for going under my raised stick!
Lots of last minute braking in the rain!
Glad to finish in one piece.
Back to Sexy Beast to take off those lumo trousers...
I went back to the Solicitors to try and get my Statutory Declaration signed.
He did ask where I got this one from.
I said "A template the Council gave me, and he signed and stamped that one!"
I signed and said some words, he then signed and stamped it.
Paid £5 for it.
Out in the rain I go.
Off to Sainsburys to get my newspaper.
Dashed and got my newspaper.
Back home in the rain I go.
Nice cup of coffee is needed.
I write yesterday's blog post up to liquid lunch.
I checked my Blink and noticed two men had looked around my house earlier!
(They didn't leave any paperwork)
I sent a email to my Housing Officer asking if the knows of any work that is going to be done to my house.
I phoned hubby on his dinner break.
It started to rain again.
On goes those sexy lumo trousers again.
It is raining really heavy.
On goes winter coat, summer hat and waterproof shoes.
I goes and turns one set of lights.
Those dark clouds are staying put!
Goes down to the Charity Shop.
Has a good yak.
Nice new sex toy to play with.....↓
Says goodbye to everyone.
Turns on my other lights.
My other friends arrive for a rabbit.
I say goodbye to my friends as I have to fetch my big stick.
Once I wait in the square to start my shift, it starts to rain again!
Lots of traffic and some cars just stopping in the Keep Clear space. So trying to get people around the parked cars was proving fun!
The rain keeps starting and stopping!
Once finished, stripped off my winter coat, summer hat and waterproof shoes!
Home time.
In need of a special brew.....
I writes one blog post from June.
Next it was to make the tea for tonight.
In goes the pasta....
Fries up some lovely stuff to go in with it.
Hubby comes back and has a sloppy wet one 💋
Tea is ready.
Yum!
I looked into today's newspaper.
Time for the spreadsheet to be opened,
and bills sorted out....
We can't clalm the cost of living £300 payment :(
We have tried to claim for cavity wall insulation from Octopus energy, we will see in 10 days time.
The time just flew after sorting out the bills.
We just caught up with news and newspaper review.
Sleep Tea time.
Off to bed with my warm hands....

I was leaving off the sexy lumo trousers for once.
I gave hubby a sloppy wet one 😘 before I left.
The caretaker asked if all the school are now open.
"Yes, now for the fun to start!"I replied.
I went and got the newspaper.
Then on goes on the summer coat.
I waited to put on my lights.
Back to it I go 🍭
Oh dear, back to car drivers ignoring my big Stop sign.
One of my friends I talk to in the afternoon came down with his dog, to say he wouldn't be here in the afternoon.
I reminded the parent whose 20th Wedding Anniversary it is next month.
"Better buy some china cups, and you can clink each other's cups, as it is china for the 20th Anniversary!"
In the end, I gave out 4 BOINGS in the morning session.
Finished in one piece!
I nipped into the local Co-op for some bits.
A great tune came on the radio.
Just had to sing along with it!
One customer said to me:
"You are not supposed to happy while you shop!"
"I like singing while shopping!"I replied.
I finished my shopping.
I got my free coffee from Costa Coffee.
Now back home.
Put the shopping away.
Now to enjoy some coffee!
I wrote yesterday's blog post up to lunchtime.
Light lunch.
Hubby had blue skies at work↓
I had grey clouds↓
Time for part two↓
I put on my winter coat.
Turned on my lights.
Got the ice lolly.
Fetched my big stick.
Now to chill out...
One friend came and we enjoyed a good rabbit...
I said,"Goodbye" and now to start the afternoon shift.
Oh dear here we go again.
Boing, Boing, and more Boing.
Back to normal!
My friend appeared again who I chattered to this morning.
I finished in one piece.
Carried on chatting to him back at where I had parked Sexy Beast.
After 45 minutes it was time to say goodbye!
I said,"See you tomorrow!" as I drove away.
Back home.
My mouth was dry.
Time for a cup of brew!
I started on the tea as well.
I gave a sloppy wet one 💋 when hubby came home.
Tea is served.
I looked into today's newspaper.
UK No.1 on this day in 1985:
Mick Jagger and David Bowie - Dancing In The Street
UK No.1 on this day in 2017:
Taylor Swift - Look What You Made Me Do.
US No.1 on this day in 1985:
John Parr - St Elmo's Fire
My late dad put in our shower, 11 years ago.
It now had decided not to work.
So having to scroll through Screwfix website and Tool Station website for a new one!
That reminds me I have to chase up people for a new boiler, as the old boiler has just celebrated it's 16th birthday.
Hubby went around to give the son of the next door neighbour, his TV magazine.
His son had just come back from the hospital, when his phone rang, to come back as his father was sadly going.
Hubby came back upset, as he lost his dad in April.
Sleep Tea time.
Going to enjoy the Hump 🐫 in bed!

Soggy Glove Time!

A dress has no meaning unless it makes a man want to take it off - Francoise Sagan.
Welcome to my Hump of the Week 🐫
Nice warm hug to start the Hump with.
Brew with Breakfast.
Thermal vest goes on.
Dressed.

I gives hubby a sloppy wet 💋 before I leave.
It's the first of December.
Santa Hat month!
On goes 2 winter hats and gloves.
Turns on my lights.
Now's let go to work...🍭
I was walking to my spot, when two High School teenagers were trying to cross over the road.
No cars would stop.
I got to my spot, and lifted my stick in the air.
The traffic stopped!
Perhaps this will carry on....
And it did.
Not one car went under my stick, all stopped!
It must be the sun's rays doing something!
I finished in one piece.
I nipped into Co-op.
I had no problems like last week.
Then I got the newspaper and next door's magazine.
Back home.
I put up my Advent Calender.
The first tea is:
My friend came to enjoy coffee, cake and yak.
We had a good chat, and waved goodbye.
She came back 5 minutes later as she forgot to get the peas I had put in my freezer.
I needed something hot for my lunch.
That's better!
There were some dark clouds, but I didn't think I would need to wear those sexy lumo trousers.
To play safe, I put on my boots, with 2 winter hats and gloves.
I put on my lights and walked back for a yak with my 2 friends.
One offered me a mince pie.
I said no.
The other friend offered me a doughnut.
I had to say no.
I laughed and said:
"I don't want the 5th chin returning thanks!"
Then I saw the dark cloud...
10 minutes before I was due to start,
The rain started.
We got under some shelter before I was due to start.
Once it was time, I said goodbye to my friends.
The rain kept coming.
All the car drivers going past looked at me getting wet.
Getting soggy gloves by the minute!
At least the car drivers were stopping for me.
The rain stopped just before I finished.
Hometime.
On the way home, one car behind for half a mile didn't put on his headlights on until the car behind him kept flashing him.
Then he decided to sit on my arse the rest of the way!
I was glad to get home.
It had started to rain again.
I still covered up Sexy Beast, as the temperatures were going to fall during the early hours and a frost was due!
My kids then told me about the fun of the Sixth Form Quiz they both entered.
The younger son had got all the Christmas Songs and the artists, but the teacher wouldn't accept them as his team won the previous round.
I was proud of them both for all of their answers to the questions.
(I am glad I keep playing Christmas songs in the house!)
 Hot Chocolate time!
I put the tea in the oven.
Now to get yesterday's blog post wrote.
I gave hubby a sloppy wet 💋 when he came home.
Tea was dished up.
Posted blog post.
Now for a little look in today's newspaper.
Matt Monro (born Terence Edward Parsons)  was an English singer who became one of the most popular entertainers on the international music scene during the 1950s and 1970s. Known as The Man with the Golden Voice, he filled cabarets, nightclubs, music halls, and stadiums across the world in his 30-year career. AllMusic has described Monro as "one of the most underrated pop vocalists of the '60s", who "possessed the easiest, most perfect baritone in the business". His recordings include the UK Top 10 hits: "Portrait of My Love", "My Kind of Girl", "Softly As I Leave You", "Walk Away" and "Yesterday" (originally by The Beatles). He also recorded several film themes such as "From Russia with Love" for the James Bond film of the same name, "Born Free" for the film of the same name and "On Days Like These" for The Italian Job
He would have been 91 years old 🎈
He sadly died aged 54 in 1985.
While hubby did his working out on the abs machine, and had a shower.
I carried on reading the book about the filming of The Godfather.
Sleep Tea Time.
Another 100 pages read.
Only hoping the sunshine will be back tomorrow.
Soggy gloves had just about dried out......
