Trying To Dodge The Rain!

If you tell the truth, you don't have to remember what you said - Mark Twain.
Welcome to my Hump of the Week πŸͺ
It has been a cold night last night.
(Good job I covered up Sexy Beast)
Time for the Headles.
50s Heardle:
60s Heardle:
My results.
Breakfast and Brew.
The thermal vest goes on!
Back down to the freezing temperatures.
Uncovered Sexy Beast.
Gives hubby a wet sloppy oneπŸ’‹
Off I go to work.
On goes the winter coat, winter gloves.
Goes and puts on my lights and gets my newspaper.
Swaps the newspaper for my big stick.
Now to turn on my other lights.
Lights go on.
Now to walk down to my spot.
As the teacher's are on strike.
I didn't have many children to cross at all.
Pretty quiet for 45 minutes.
Still had last minute braking to put up with!
At least the sun was coming out!
Finished in one piece.
Back home I go...
Coffee machine went on.
Now to pan fry the shoulder of lamb we are having for tea tonight.
Once it was done, in the dish with tin foil over it and in the oven for later.
Coffee time!
Chattered to my younger son's friend for over an hour.
Liquid lunch time.
The rain has come back again.
On goes the sexy lumo trousers.
Now to do the afternoon session.
On goes the waterproofs again.
My friend joined me with his dog.
So us three went for a little walk to turn on both sets of lights.
Back to Sexy Beast to fetch my big stick.
My other friend arrived for a joint rabbit time.
Once it was time to start my afternoon shift.
I said goodbye to my friends.
Now to work in the rain!
I crossed over 5 people.
Someone in a van with a trailer decided to park on the double yellow lines, so I couldn't see what was coming up the road!
I got finished in one piece and a bit damp!
Home I go...
Time for a brew...
On goes the lamb in the oven.
Time to write yesterday's blog post.
Just finished as hubby came through the door!
Gave him a sloppy wet one πŸ’‹
Time to dish up the tea!
Lovely!
Now to look in today's newspaper.
UK No.1 on this day in 1997.
Spice Girls - Mama/ Who Do You Think You Are?
US No.1 on this day in 1969:
Tommy Roe - Dizzy
We sorted through 5 boxes of books that are going to Charity on Saturday.

Woo Hoo The Rains Are Back!

Write something, even if it's a suicide note - Gore Vidal
Welcome to my Thursday Fun πŸ’œ
No sunshine again.
Now to warm up the brain by doing the Heardles.
Heardle 60s:
My son's answers:
(After today, son is not doing the Heardles.
As I don't write my answers down, there will be no more Heardles until Sunday, when I will write my answers down instead!)
Breakfast and Brew time.
Dressed.
I gives hubby a sloppy wet one πŸ’‹ before he goes to work.
Then I make a grand entrance to the world!
I get the newspaper first.
Drops off son.
Back home.
It looks like it is going to rain!
Puts on the coffee machine.
Fills up mop bucket.
Once coffee is done.
I just leave it in the living room until I have mopped the kitchen floor.
Leaving that to dry.
It's coffee time!
Leaving the floor to dry some more.
I nip back out,
(Taking my rain mac with me just in case!)
It's Lidl and Dunelm time!
I gets some bits in Lidl.
I spend enough to get the £10 off the next shop \o/
Then into Dunelm to get some room spray...
I then go round to see how son is doing at his job.
Just gets out of the Sexy Beast, and it pours down with rain.
I have a long chat with my son's co-worker.
Has a coffee and nibble.
I said goodbye to everyone and went back home in the rain.
Puts the shopping away.
Chats with hubby.
Late lunch.
Then I write yesterday's blog post.
Tea at 3.
Back to blogging.
At least the garden has been watered for now.
I put the tea in the oven for all the males of the family. I am having a meat-free Stir-fry instead.
Hubby comes home for a sloppy wet one πŸ’‹
They have their tea.

I can live for two months on a compliment - Mark Twain
Welcome to my Friday Feeling 🎈
Nice big hug to start the day with!

Breakfast and Brew time!
Dressed.
Now out for the final time this week.
Gives hubby a sloppy wet one πŸ’‹
I gets the newspaper.
Puts on my Summer coat.
Puts on my lights.
Now let's go to work...
Some cars were going under my big stick still.
Then I have a lorry parked opposite, on double yellow lines.
This was causing problems for me, as cars were stopping in the Keep Clear space...
Around the back of the cars to cross the kids over the road.
Still the cars on the otherside ain't stopping for me 😣
Once the lorry went, normal service resumed!
BOING!
At least I finished in one piece!
I nipped into Co-op, for some milk.
Then home I go.
Coffee machine went on.
Put my shopping away.
Coffee time!
Now to carry on writing the blog posts for this week.
I got two wrote up to lunch.
Hubby's dad's ashes were being interred into the family grave at 2pm.
Off out to do the final bit of the week.
I had to go around the long way, as there was big queues building up at the four way traffic lights on a roundabout.
Gets on Summer coat.
Turns on lights.
Gets my ice lolly.
Collects big stick.
Sits in the square.
My friends arrive for a little rabbit.
I change out of my Summer Coat into my Winter coat, as the whole sky had now dark clouds.
I wished my friends a good weekend.
Now to start the final shift of the week.
Oh the fun I had.
Especially the cars on the otherside of the road.
BOINGs given out after they just drove under my big stick!
I received a green eyed stare from one wife who drove past,
(I have a chin-wag with her husband, twice a day)
I could feel the stare, when she drove past!
Then other van parks on my side, on double yellow lines!
Now having trouble seeing the traffic coming up the road!
Finished in one piece.
Home time.
My youngest son enjoyed a trip into Birmingham with his school on the train.
His Birthday present from his Step-Dad arrived.
He was well pleased,
Off he went to listen to all the vinyl he had for his birthday.
Hubby comes back,
He is had nice big hug and a sloppy wet one πŸ’‹
He puts the tea on.
Now for a important brew!
I carry on with writing the blog posts.
