Rabbit,Rabbit And More Rabbit

The trouble with words is that you never know whose mouths they've been in - Dennis Potter.
Welcome aboard my Wobbly Work Wheel 🎡
Nice big hug \o/
Then it's brew with breakfast.
No thermal vest today.
Time goes so quick when it's time to leave.
I gave hubby a sloppy wet one before I left.
I get the newspaper before I put on the Summer Coat, and Summer hat.
Puts on my lights.
Now for the fun to start.
Oh dear it's great start to the working week!
9 BOINGS given out....
At least the sunshine made up for it!
Finished in one piece.
Gets home.
Coffee machine goes on.
Hangs the washing back on the line.
Coffee time!
Does some housework up to lunch.
Liquid lunch time!
Finished off the soup.
Now for part 2:
On goes the summer coat...
Turns on my lights.
Waits for my friends...
One friend turned up.
Time for a little bit of rabbiting...
I said goodbye to her.
Just as I started, a van parks on double yellow lines and blocks my vision down the road!
As soon as he went,
Another van replaced him.
Plenty of BOINGS given out.
As soon as I finished, my other friend appeared.
Goes back to Sexy Beast for a good rabbit!
I said goodbye and see him tomorrow after half an hour of yakking. He got talking to someone else after I went.
Back home.
Watered the plants.
Then made the tea.
Hubby had a sloppy wet one when he came home.
Tea is now ready!
YUM!
I looked in today's newspaper.
UK No.1 on this day in 1981:
Adam and the Ants - Stand and Deliver
UK No.1 on this day in 1998:
All Saints - Under The Bridge
USA No.1 on this day in 1964:
Louis Armstrong - Hello, Dolly
USA No.1 on this day in 1970:
The Guess Who - American Woman
Afterwards we tidied up the white tiles in the bathroom.
Sleep tea time...
Let's hope nothing happens tomorrow.
As something always does on a Tuesday!

Back On The Wobbly Work Wheel!

A paranoid is something who knows a little of what's going on -
William Burroughs
Welcome aboard my Wobbly Work Wheel 🎡
Nice big hug for Monday!
Brew with breakfast.
It might be mild out there, but the thermal vest is still going on!
Dressed.
Gives hubby a sloppy wet 💋 before I leave.
I park around the corner as the hall is being used to give out Covid-19 boosters.
It is quite warm for the time of year.
So I needed only one glove to wear.
The hand I use to hold my stick will be the one with the glove on.
I put on my lights,
Now to walk down to my spot.
It is still quite dark, yet some cars have no headlights on!
I heard a loud speedy 4x4 coming up the road.
He had to find the brake pretty quick as I was stood in the road!
I had few limbo dance drivers who just drove under my stick without a car in the world!
Another speedy car had to brake quick or it would have been tap and crack on it's windscreen!
At least I survived this shift!
I walked  down to the Post Office to post my letters and get 6 second class stamps for my next door neighbour.
They asked:" If I had any response to the previous four inmates I had wrote to?"
"Nope, yet again I could have 6 replies just after Christmas, you never know!"
I said goodbye, and walked back to Sexy Beast.
I collected the newspaper on the way back home.
The coffee machine was put on.
So was the washing machine.
All the bins in the house was emptied and the recycling put in the green bin.
Everyone getting in the Christmas Mood!
What's behind the Advent Calender door today?
Much needed coffee time.
As well as writing yesterday's blog post.
I was trying to get my son's second Covid 19 jab.
I waited for 45 minutes to get an appointment.
Then the booking reference didn't show up and I went back in the queue!
I will try again tomorrow!
Didn't quite finish the blog at dinnertime.
I will finish it when I get back.
Lunch.
I am hoping this afternoon is not as bad as last Friday afternoon.
I still had two winter hats and one glove to wear.
I put on my lights and walked back to have a rabbit with my friends.
Nice car went past...↓
I said goodbye to my friends.
Now to start the afternoon shift.
Still had a few cars on the otherside of the road that don't want to stop.
Few suddenly had to find the brake petal when I was in the middle of the road.
Then it was hometime for me.
It was getting very dark when I finished.
I just about missed the rain,as it started when I walking back to Sexy Beast.
Time for a cup of brew.
Finished writing yesterday's blog post.
Sorted and put away the washing from the weekend.
Now to start on the Meat-Free Stir Fry.
Even my kids had some and enjoyed it !
We watched last Friday's "Have I Got News For You."
Afterwards, I loaded up the dishwasher and put it on.
Quick read of today's newspaper.
"Throw Momma from the Train" was the #1 movie at the box office today in 1987.
"Driving Miss Daisy" directed by Bruce Beresford and starring Morgan Freeman and Jessica Tandy is released (Best Picture 1990) is released in 1989.
Hubby appeared magic!
He went to the wrong venue to play his snooker match. It was getting late and he didn't want to drive over to the otherside of town to play.
So he came home.
Sleep Tea Time.
Big tidy-up of the Living Room tomorrow.
Wonder what I am going to find?

All Aboard The New Cabin Bed!

My last credit card bill was so big, before I opened it, I actually heard a drum roll - Rita Rudner
Welcome to my Thursday 💣💥
Breakfast.
Dressed.
We were up really early as we were expecting the delivery of my son's cabin bed.
We didn't have to wait long.
3 heavy boxes containing the bits of bed.
The delivery man carried one box on his own to our door.
I don't know what he thought when he saw hubby and I trying to lift one box and struggling!
Now to get the kids up to take down the bed my son is sleeping in, and clear out his room.
6 black bags and counting....
While I wrote yesterday's blog post.
Hubby walked to the newspaper shop to fetch the newspaper.
Coffee time!
Both sons were putting the cabin bed together.
I put the washing machine back on....
I tidied up in the kitchen and living room.
Another Prima Makes magazine arrived \o/
Nice easy lunch.
Hubby went over to see his dad and add some lovely things to his late mum's grave.
I meanwhile had some pom poms to make.....
Tea at 3.
I made 11 pom poms until I ran out of wool!
I am waiting now for the delivery of wool now....
Hubby's mum grave is looking nice.
(The brown lining will be replaced with black weed barrier soon)
The solicitor sorting out the estate of my late dad's is now waiting for the house to be signed off. Then will take YET MORE WEEKS for THEM do the final settlement of what each sibling is getting and how much the Solicitors and Estate Agents fees are...
(I dread to think what their fees are going to be!)
The buyer of the house is dragging their feet on signing the papers and returning them to their Solicitor.....!!
It looking like July or August before this gets sorted!!!!
Now for tea!
I looked inside today's newspaper.
James  Herbert, OBE  was an English horror writer. A full-time writer, he also designed his own book covers and publicity. His books have sold 54 million copies worldwide, and have been translated into 34 languages, including Chinese and Russian.
He would have been 78 years old 🎈
He sadly died in 2013 aged 69 years old.
As there is no Judge Rinder for the rest of the week...
We have 6 episodes of Traffic Cops to get through...
Sleep Tea time.
The Cabin Bed has been been put together at last↓↓
The Friday Feeling is back tomorrow 🎈
