Clearing The Room!

Every time I paint a portrait, I lose a friend - John Singer Sargent
Welcome to my Monday 🎈
(No Wobbly Work Wheel this week 🎑)
Nice warm hug with brew.
Breakfast.
I gives hubby a sloppy wet 😘 before he goes to work.
Now to make full use of nice comfy bed πŸ›
I am going to have a rare lie-in.
Felt better after that!
Gets up, gets dressed.
Puts on the coffee machine.
Loads up and puts on the dish washer.
On goes the new washing machine.
Empties all the bins in the house.
Now for coffee...
One son gets the newspaper for me.
My new curtains arrive for the Dining room.
One son helps me put them up.
Tumble Drier goes on.
Nice healthy lunch.
Now for the follow up for the parcel which was supposed to be delivered to me on 14th October but was delivered elsewhere.
Fed-Ex has picked up the parcel and delivered to the correct address!
I was told.
"Not here, I replied back"
This Business is trying not to give me refund, not answered my emails and just hoping I will go away, however they don't know me well enough!
I need to chill.
What better way to do some sewing with a brew.
Tea at 3 time.
The first 3 draught excluders done.
Then the remaining three done \o/
Hopefully our house won't be so draughty now!
Hubby was visiting his dad with all the shopping he got yesterday and playing snooker afterwards.
While our kids had their tea, a nice tune came on the music channel we were watching.
Then I flicked it over and started singing along with Def...
The room cleared!
That's nice!
I got on with my tea.
Then I caught up with Kenny Everett's series 3.
Then I wrote yesterday's blog post.
Hubby won his snooker singles match but lost in the doubles.
His team still won 3-2.
Published my blog post.
Quick read of today's newspaper.
Roger  Miller   was an American singer-songwriter, musician, and actor, widely known for his honky-tonk-influenced novelty songs and his chart-topping country and pop hits "King of the Road", "Dang Me", and "England Swings", all from the mid-1960s Nashville sound era.
He sadly died on this day in 1992 aged 56.
Now to snuggle down into that warm bed with hubby 😘

 Today's sunrise picture↓
It's that time of the year when we have frost.
The tank drivers come out...
One car driver had scraped his side of the windscreen, and not his front passenger's side. As he went past me, his passenger window was down and his son looking at me!
One man I crossed over the road,
Just said to me,"It's cold out here.."
I replied,"Good job I have my Thermal Knickers to keep me warm, isn't it!"
He had a nice blush to his face after I said that!
Still some car drivers were failing to stop!
I finished in one piece.
Now onto enjoy some Webbs Experience↓

Nice to B3↑
Coffee,nibbles and chat↓

Back out in the sunshine.
The low lying sun was being a problem again↓
My 🍭 stick must be invisible...
Loads of cars were failing to stop!!!
I still finished in one piece.
Now back home with a little more singing along..
The temperatures are starting to go down↓↓↓

Swinging Handbags

If anything can go wrong, it will - Murphy's Law
Welcome back to another Monday🎈
I was up before the alarm clock ...
Thermal knickers had to be put on
(It is freezing out there)
A nice cup of tea and hug in bed.
The sun is coming up↗↗↗↗
I gave everyone sloppy wet πŸ’‹πŸ’‹πŸ’‹ before I left the house.
It is cold out there↓
Now out for a little ride...
There is nice view from the car park.

Nice CD to  listen to later↓
 The sun is coming up↗↗↗
 Great start to the day.
Skip Lorry holding up the traffic not far from my Lollipop spot 🍭↓
I turned on my lights and walked to my spot.
A large blue van then parks on the double yellow lines, blocking my view up the road.
Then it parks on the drive next to the newly delivered skip. The van front sticks out that much on the pavement, everyone had to walk into the road to get round it.
I caught up with some gossip from a former customer (Who I used to deliver his mail)
I didn't catch man in his blue car drinking from a coffee cup and driving today.
Nearly at the end of my shift, female pedestrian and a female car driver was having a right set too at each other! Swear words were mentioned too!
Once I had finished off for a coffee and chat..
 It was nice to B3↑
Someone needs to press the button↑
 Ride the white swan↑
 Coffee and nibbles↑↑
I had a good chat with my friend.
Then off to work I go...
Linda Evans, actress is 77 years old 🎈
I looked across the fields of fun↓

I had to put my foot down....when I got in..
I had to strip off a few layers when I got finished.....I had a nice red shiny face!
Some nice music to sing along with..
 Back home

 One quick coffee↓
I goes back to my Lollipop 🍭 job.
At least it's dry↓

 Then the chaos started.
Cars kept driving under my stick.
One car driver stopped to say "He couldn't see me because of the low lying sun!"
(I came up the High Street earlier and I could still see where I was driving in the low lying sun)
One white delivery van nearly took out a car coming up the High Street.
*I finished in one piece*
Gets back home.
 Gets changed.
Off to the Happy Place Called Work
I did my bit.
Back home for a much needed tea↓
 The dishwasher was put on.
I made a chicken stir fry for everyone.
Now to burn off it with the final job of the day.
 It was freezing cold.
I covered up Sexy Beast...
I do hope I have a better day tomorrow...
