More,More, Minions!

After forty, a woman has to choose between losing her figure or her face. My advice is to keep your face, and stay sitting down - Barbara Cartland

We had lots to do around the house.
Sorted out all the books in our bedroom.
Some were going to the Charity Shop next week.
It was starting to feel quite warm.
Early lunch outside.
Then out for a trip to Bromsgrove.
Nice car in the car park↓
We visited some of the Charity Shops in the High Street.
Found 3 bags of Minions in one shop \o/
Then off to our food shopping at Lidl.
Drink and nibble when we came out.
Back home to unpack the shopping.
Put my minions on show.
We put the tea in the oven.
I looked into today's newspaper.

Adding Another One To The Collection Of.....

A Lot of people mistake a short memory for a clear conscience - Doug Larson
Welcome to my Hump of the Week 🐫
First day of February \o/
Interesting month...
Valentine's Day πŸ’—
My Birthday on the last day.
I will have to wait 12 months for my real Birthday.......
I was up early to do the Heardles...
 Heardle 60s:
My answers:
Breakfast and Brew.
I put on my thermal vest and layers.
Now time to leave the house.
I gives hubby a sloppy wet one πŸ’‹ before I left.
I have to go the long way round until the end of March as I am not getting stuck in two sets of traffic lights!
On goes my winter hats, coat and gloves.
Gets the newspaper.
Swaps it for my big stick.
Now to go and turn on my lights.
I turn on my lights.
Now let's go to work...🍭
As some teachers were on Strike.
Only Year 11 were in at the High School.
The Infants and Juniors were open until lunch time.
The Red school was open as normal.
I still had kids to cross open.
I had a 67 plate silver mini drove straight under my stick, she even put her foot down and her 3 friends in the car with her were finding it funny.
Let's hope she is good on that brake pedal!
Two more BOINGs handed out as well.
Finished in one piece!
Back home I go.
I put the coffee machine on.
Followed by the dish washer.
I put the green bins out .
Coffee time.
I managed to write one blog post up to lunch!
Liquid lunch time!
I was down early to check out the Charity Shop :)
There was no room where I normally park.
I was lucky to find one space in the car park opposite. Then off down to the Charity Shop I went.
One of my friends was already in there.
I found yet another Minion, which I didn't have.
Nice pink fleece blanket, body lotion, I got.
Walked back to Sexy Beast, with my friend in tow.
He put his DVDs back in his car, while I put my winter coat, hat and gloves on.
I went and put my lights on.
My other friend couldn't come as she went into work early.
Two other friends arrived in the square for a little rabbit...
Once it was time to start, I said goodbye to everyone.
I had only the kids from the Red school to cross over. I still had lots to cross over.
I had a chat with a friend whose mum fell over a shop sign on Friday 13th January. She is still in pain, and is going to Worcester Hospital tomorrow to have the arm checked out.
I told him to let me know how it went.
It was very quiet for traffic. Still a few cars don't  like to stop for me!
Time for the Stop spray to come out!!!
Finished in one piece.
Back home I go.
Unpack my lovely things from the Charity shop I bought!
Let's put all the Minions together.
Now to put them back....
Brew time.
Hubby came home and a sloppy wet one πŸ’‹.
As the kids weren't back yet,
We had a takeaway, and hubby picked up the younger son from the bus stop.
Then I looked into today's newspaper.

Now to put on the thermal vest.
Out to visit some charity shops and to do food shopping.
First stop was to collect some plastic boxes from Argos.
Nice car in the car park↓
Looked in 3 charity shops before Argos.
Pity they weren't my size :(
I did however pick up 2 more minions!
Picked up boxes from Argos.
Now onto to Lidl to do the food shop.
Pity they weren't in my size ↑
We did the shopping.
Back home to unload it all.
Light lunch.
Now to start making room for everything.
Found the Return Back to Work Form from my old lollipop job from 4/7 2018.
I just returned to work after having 8 months off due to my foot injury.
I was only back to work for 2 weeks.
As I asked on the form,
Can I come back in September?
I found out sometime soon after I broke up for the 6 weeks holidays, I was up for redundancy.
My last day was Aug 31st.
Pity one arm don't talk to the other leg and they paid me for September. So after they clawed back the overpayment, I was left with £100 redundancy money!
More moving about in the Living room!
We ran out of room to put the DVDs.
We made room on top of hubby's wardrobe!
All the minions were put together.
After all this moving about,
Time for a stiff drink!
We had some party food to go along with it.
Quick look in the newspaper:
US No.1 on this day in 1966:
The Monkees - I'm A Believer
We caught up Gordon...
I wasn't going to keep awake up to midnight.
I kept yawning....
Off to bed I went.
I wished my hubby a Happy New Year.
(As we are going travelling alot in 2023.
Some of the places we are going to are:
Las Vegas, Australia, and going on the train to Scotland in 2023)
Wishing you all a Happy New Year!
