Using The Rainbow Paint At Last!

I often quote myself. It adds spice to my conversation
- George Bernard Shaw

We had a bit of lie-in.
Still found time to do our Heardles:

Then we paid a visit to my parents.
It will be the 3rd Anniversary of my dad passing away next Sunday :'(
I added more things to the grave I have adopted↓
Found a note on where they bury the ashes↓
I said goodbye to my parents.
Now off to do the shopping...
Let's have a look in the middle of the aisle↓
That's Valentine's Day sorted 💓💓💓

Out In The Fresh Air!

I was once so poor I didn't know where my next husband was coming from - Mae West
Welcome to my hectic Sunday 💫
No chance of a lie-in, so much to do.
Breakfast with Brew.
On goes the thermal vest.
Dressed.
My older son decides to take part in the Couch to 5k.
He was dragging his heels for a lift.
Our Robin says hello, while we wait...
Off we go.
Drops son off.
Now to say hello to my parents.
Then off to check the tyres.
Off to ScrewFix...
Back home.
Coffee time.
Then we start tidying up the Dining Room and sorting out my 1950's cabinet.
My older son painted his room with Anti-Mould paint. However he had moved all his stuff into his brother's room and was in no hurry to move it back in!
The Cabin has to be taken down.
He doesn't open his windows...
I can't get to his windows to open them as he doesn't put his things away in the Cabin Bed!
The lovely curtains I made for him, he threw away as well as the net curtains I put up!
I had to rescue the plant he also threw away.
The Mould now had taken hold of his Cabin Bed.
So after spending £275 it will have to go :( :(
Both sons having a go at each other, then the older one having a go at me!
Time for some liquid refreshment!
Still arguing at each other, hubby and I go and fetch a Magic bag from Morrisons.
Then to do a bit of shopping at Lidl.
Already got a microwave.
Gets back home to unload the shopping.
My older son is still dragging his heels on getting his room sorted. Now he is refusing to sleep in his room!
Better get the tent out and sleep outside in the front garden!
In the end he goes and sleeps over at our friend's house.
His rooms stops the same!
Shopping put away.
Then the tea is made!
Nice Pork Tea!
Yum.
Quick look into today's newspaper.

Now to put on the thermal vest.
Out to visit some charity shops and to do food shopping.
First stop was to collect some plastic boxes from Argos.
Nice car in the car park↓
Looked in 3 charity shops before Argos.
Pity they weren't my size :(
I did however pick up 2 more minions!
Picked up boxes from Argos.
Now onto to Lidl to do the food shop.
Pity they weren't in my size ↑
We did the shopping.
Back home to unload it all.
Light lunch.
Now to start making room for everything.
Found the Return Back to Work Form from my old lollipop job from 4/7 2018.
I just returned to work after having 8 months off due to my foot injury.
I was only back to work for 2 weeks.
As I asked on the form,
Can I come back in September?
I found out sometime soon after I broke up for the 6 weeks holidays, I was up for redundancy.
My last day was Aug 31st.
Pity one arm don't talk to the other leg and they paid me for September. So after they clawed back the overpayment, I was left with £100 redundancy money!
More moving about in the Living room!
We ran out of room to put the DVDs.
We made room on top of hubby's wardrobe!
All the minions were put together.
After all this moving about,
Time for a stiff drink!
Nice...
We had some party food to go along with it.
Quick look in the newspaper:
US No.1 on this day in 1966:
The Monkees - I'm A Believer
We caught up Gordon...
I wasn't going to keep awake up to midnight.
I kept yawning....
Off to bed I went.
I wished my hubby a Happy New Year.
(As we are going travelling alot in 2023.
Some of the places we are going to are:
Las Vegas, Australia, and going on the train to Scotland in 2023)
Wishing you all a Happy New Year!
