I Don't Do Floppy!

Welcome to my Tuesday 💪
Nice warm hug with brew.
Breakfast.
Gets kids up as they having the First injection of the Covid-19 vaccine.
I give hubby a sloppy wet 💋 before he goes to work.
Dressed.
We soon follow out of the door.
Gets the newspaper on the way. 
One son wanted me to go in with him while he has jab.
The woman on the door, say:
"His brother can go with him the same time as his jab."
"That's good, I won't hear the screams from my car,"I replied walking back to Sexy Beast.
"So we have to hear them then?"She replied.
A good 20 minutes they came out. Sore arms, but everything was fine.
Back home for a much needed coffee.
Does a bit of housework.
Now to plan for tonight's evening meal.
I need mushrooms and garlic!
Out again....
Gets some more nice room spray for the bathroom!
Plus a king size yellow sheet was in the sale :)
Got the bits I need for tonight's tea from  Lidl.
Back home.
Chops up the mushrooms, onions and garlic,
Then put it the pan for later.
Next was to water the garden.
I put the things back up on the wall by the front door.
(He can take them back off when he applies the second coat)
The paint has now come, so hopefully the second coat will be applied tonight 🤞
Light lunch time.
Now to get and write yesterday's blog post.
Tea at 3. 
I was doing my research on getting a embroidery machine.
Prices start from £500 to £5,000+....
There were some machines using Floppy discs..
I don't do Floppy!
 My search carries on...
I have booked tickets to go to The Creative Craft Show at the NEC in November.
It looks like the Cake Show is separate this year.
Never mind, I will drag hubby around to acquire yet more craft crap!
Hubby comes back for sloppy wet 😘

I had a quick look in the newspaper afterwards.
Mae West (born Mary Jane West) was an American stage and film actress, playwright, screenwriter, singer, and sex symbol whose entertainment career spanned over seven decades. She was known for her breezy sexual independence, and her lighthearted bawdy double entendres, often delivered in a husky contralto voice. She was active in vaudeville and on stage in New York City before moving to Los Angeles to pursue a career in the film industry. 
She would have been 128 years old 🎈
She died aged 87 in 1980. 
Robert  De Niro is an American actor, producer, and director. He is particularly known for his nine collaborations with filmmaker Martin Scorsese, and is the recipient of various accolades, including two Academy Awards, a Golden Globe Award, the Cecil B. DeMille Award, and a Screen Actors Guild Life Achievement Award. In 2009, De Niro received the Kennedy Center Honor, and received a Presidential Medal of Freedom from U.S. President Barack Obama in 2016.

Round & Round!

Welcome to my Tuesday ⛾
😘 ,hugs, and a nice hot brew to start Tuesday with.
Breakfast.
Dressed.
I gave hubby a wet sloppy 💋 before he left for work.
Things to do this morning....
Gets one son up to come out for a ride!
The sun was really bright.
Big big sunglasses time.
First stop was to get my newspaper from the Paper Shop.
Said hello to everyone in there.
Next port of call was to drop the documents at the Solicitors.
I waited in the car while son dropped them in.
Had some funny looks from someone who parked up from me. She gave me daggers when I drove off!
I tried to get a 50p coffee on the Costa Coffee app. No luck there.
Back home.
Kept trying to go on the app to just get 3 hot drinks.Kept crashing and the circle kept going round and round.
Washing machine went on.
If the sunshine carries on tomorrow,
The lollipop coat is going to be washed and hung out to dry....
I finally got the order for 3 hot drinks on the app  \o/
Back in Sexy Beast to collect them! 
I ordered 3 hot sandwiches from the snack van down the bottom of the road.
I had bacon and black pudding in my sandwich,
With a large Mocha!
The kids had various sandwiches with hot chocolates.
My Hobbycraft order arrived with the lost border. (I ordered last month, and was replaced with another border)

Now to get on writing my blog post from yesterday.
Had a good chat with my friendly postie.
Posted my blog post.
Wasn't very hungry after having my hot sandwich....
I still had my Tea at 3.
I hunted down a good DVD I bought last month.
&
To make full use of my wool delivery yesterday.
Such a good film,
Laughed so much.
Roll onto Book Club 2!
I got 6 pom poms made..
Gave hubby a wet sloppy 💋 when he came home.

Harold  Keel , known professionally as Howard Keel, was an American actor and singer, known for his rich bass-baritone singing voice. He starred in a number of MGM musicals in the 1950s and in the CBS television series Dallas from 1981–1991. 
He would have been 102 years old 🎈
He sadly died aged 85 in 2004 
Al Green is an American singer, songwriter and record producer best known for recording a series of soul hit singles in the early 1970s, including "Take Me to the River", "Tired of Being Alone", "I'm Still in Love with You", "Love and Happiness", and his signature song, "Let's Stay Together". After an incident in which his girlfriend died by suicide, Green became an ordained pastor and turned to gospel music. He later returned to secular music.
Green was inducted to the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame in 1995. He was referred to on the museum's site as being "one of the most gifted purveyors of soul music". He has also been referred to as "The Last of the Great Soul Singers". Green is the winner of 11 Grammy Awards, including the Grammy Lifetime Achievement Award. He has also received the BMI Icon award and is a Kennedy Center Honors recipient. He was included in the Rolling Stone list of the 100 Greatest Artists of All Time, ranking at No. 65, as well as its list of the 100 Greatest Singers, at No. 14.
He is 75 years old 🎈

Hubby had to go back in the office.
I gave him a sloppy wet 💋 before he left.
I got the kids up to do their on-line learning.
I went out for some fresh air and a quick ride in Sexy Beast. 
I gets the newspaper.
Then heads back down to Morrisons for some supplies.
Facemask worn.
Wipped down the trolley and  washed my hands before entering the store.
Got my bits...
Now back home.
Unpacks the shopping.
Then starts to write yesterday's blog post.
Lunch time! 
Once blog is published.
Time to read the newspaper.
Harry Corbett OBE was an English puppeteer, magician and television and stage presenter, who is best known as the creator of the glove puppet character Sooty in 1952. 
He would have been 102 years old 🎈
He died aged 71 in 1989.
Bernard  Bilk, MBE , known professionally as Acker Bilk, was a British clarinettist and vocalist known for his breathy, vibrato-rich, lower-register style, and distinctive appearance – of goatee, bowler hat and striped waistcoat.
Bilk's 1962 instrumental tune "Stranger on the Shore" became the UK's biggest selling single of 1962: it was in the UK charts for more than 50 weeks, peaking at number two, and was the second No. 1 single in the United States by a British artist in the era of the modern Billboard Hot 100 pop chart.
He would have been 92 years old🎈
He died aged 85 in 2014.
Jim Capaldi was an English singer-songwriter and drummer. His musical career spanned more than four decades. He co-founded the psychedelic rock band Traffic in 1967 with Steve Winwood with whom he co-wrote the majority of the band's material. He was inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame as a part of Traffic's original line-up.
He died on this day in 2005 aged 60. 
Henry McGee was a British actor, best known as straight man to Benny Hill for many years. McGee was also often the announcer on Hill's TV programme, delivering the upbeat intro "Yes! It's The Benny Hill Show!". He was familiar to British children throughout the 1970s as "Mummy" in the Sugar Puffs commercials, the catchphrase of which was "Tell them about the honey, Mummy".
He died on this day in 2006 aged 76.
