Ha Ha For The Monday Feeling....

Welcome to the Monday Feeling..
While the mad dash was on to get ready to leave the house for school/work.
The curtain rail came down.....
Hubby picked up the wrong mobile.
Someone left the front door....
"You live in a barn do you????"
I said as I closed the front door...
It's freezing out there!
I had the first coffee of the day...
Caught up on the weekend's newspapers.
Someone phoned and asked:
"If I am returning to work at Job 1 this week?"
"Unless I can walk wearing my kinky black boot, funky frame, and hold onto my Lollipop stick the same time!"
I will hold on to the day I can walk unaided and drive my car.....
I made myself a very hot stir fry....
Plenty of red chillies, garlic and ginger..
At least my mouth is nice and hot,
Don't know about tomorrow mind......

Slow Boat To India

Back on the wobbly work wheel....
Just to start the Monday the worst way,
I got verbally abused by a Polish Car Driver who shouted at me
When he drove past...while doing Job 1
I was so tempted to do a Benny Hill impression on him.
Final day of dishing up the meals at Job 2.
Back to playground duty tomorrow \o/
Lovely view when I finished.↓↓↓
Back to the chaos of the afternoon shift of Job 1.
Cars not stopping.
Good job brakes were invented!
The parents shook their heads...
I had a letter about school trip to India in 2019...
The cost is £3000...
My son want to go...
I pointed out, we won't be able to have holiday for two years...etc
Might even afford a day trip....

Make It So!

The first half of the morning,
I had pea soup fog to deal with.
I had a visit from the local PCSO's
at Job 1
Most of the car drivers stuck to the 20 mph limit and were stopping!!!!
One parent got told off for parking on the Zig Zags.
Back home
I was going to play with Henry,
Then had a powercut for a hour.
The PCSO's were back for the second half of Job 1
One van failed to stop, his license plate was noted.
Better get my skates on for getting into this Christmas mood.
(my new CD might help!)
 No cards made yet
No Christmas cake made yet
2 presents got so far...
19 days left and counting....

Mad,Bad & Dangerous....

So glad this week is nearly over.
  Job 1
I told one parent off for parking on the zig zags.
I just asked him to move a few yards more
"Alright, Alright" came his answer...
The sky turned black.
The rain came down.
Welcome to the madness, chaos, and bedlam
of the afternoon school run...
I was determined to make the traffic stop.
I was armed with my trusty Lollypop stick,
Two car drivers realised that I meant business.
Out came my stick, and banged the stick down in front of them.
I was in a mad, bad and dangerous mood
Just about finished in one piece.
Now to enjoy the rest of the Friday Feeling!

Thank You Come Again!

Welcome to Terrible Tuesday.
Bedlam & Chaos ensured on Job 1
I told a reoffending parent
(who always parks on the zig zags lines)
That he can't park on these lines.
His gums started banging together....
I walked back to my spot.
He drew up against me and shouted.
"Is this better!"
I replied, "Thank you, come Again".
Second shift of Job 1 wasn't much better.
A car pulled out of the club opposite
While I was walking across the road.
I had to perform the Time Warp.
To avoid being mowed down along with a parent and four children!
On a more brighter note:
I have won free tickets to the BBC Good Food at the NEC .
(I had fun at last year's event here's was happened:

Rolling Pin Time....

Had the normal fun of a Thursday.
More Adventures from Job 1
Lollipop stick up in the air to stop the traffic.
One woman driving a red Skoda drove under my stick and then she stopped at the traffic lights just further up the road, when they were on red!
I needed to bake...
Used up the spicy sausages, bacon bits, vegetables and some puff pastry that was reduced at Asda...
Time to bake the Pie
Pie was ready....

Nailing The Red Cross On The Front Door!

Thursday has gone so quick!!!
Younger son was off with sore throat, cough and high temperature.
Hubby is still off with a chest infection.
I made a First Birthday card for my friend's daughter.
The second shift of Job 1 again so much happened.
One van didn't stop and went under my Lollipop stick
One car totally ignored me and my stick and kept driving.
Someone dropped their football, and rushed into the road in front of moving traffic, to collect it.
I shouted STOP, before they could go in the road.
Thank God it's Friday tomorrow!!!
James did some cooking at school today.
Spicy Chicken Paella meal, our tea was so nice,
It's like there's a party in my mouth, and everyone's invited!"

Watching The Wheels Trying To Stop!

Happy Groundhog Day!
I had some near misses on my first shift on JOB 1
One white car didn't stop.
Next up, one blue car had to slam the brakes on or I would have been hit!
I saw a Policeman on a motorcycle pull one parent up for bad driving.
My job never gets boring, but does get very dangerous!
I am nursing a sick hubby this week.
He has been diagnosed as having a Chest Infection.
It nice to see what I actually do while he is normally at work.
Lots of coffee drinking, Internet, and a dash of housework!
(so he thinks!)
Now to grab the feather duster for some light dusting (cough cough).

Waving Goodbye To Henry ;'(

Woo it's 3 jobs Thursday for the last time.
I was awake at 4am, sipping on a strong coffee.
Finished JOB 1 for good by 7.30am :/
With sadness, and tiredness, I did my best.
Said goodbye all the spooks that has been entertaining me for the past 6 weeks.
Even said goodbye to the long suffering Henry.
I'm sure the new cleaner will give him loads of love like I did.
Now to try to get my body clock away from the 4am start up time!
If I wake up early, I might have to jump on my hubby!
