No Walking In The Rain!

Let's hope it's stops raining!
Brew and Hug.
Dressed.
It was pouring down with rain.
I will get the newspaper later....
No walking in the rain for me...
I gave hubby and kids all sloppy wet 💋💋💋 when they all left the house.
I tidied up the house.
Wrote yesterday's blog.
It was still raining when I left to go for the ride in Sexy Beast.
Now for some singing in the rain...
It was still raining when I got to work.

Don McLean III  is an American singer-songwriter, best known for his 1971 hit song "American Pie", an 8.5-minute folk rock "cultural touchstone"about the loss of innocence of the early rock and roll generation.

Mike  Rutherford  is an English guitarist, bassist, songwriter, and singer who co-founded the rock band Genesis in 1967. He is one of the group's two continuous members along with keyboardist Tony Banks.In addition to his work with Genesis, Rutherford released two solo albums in the early 1980s. In 1985, he formed the highly successful band Mike and the Mechanics, which became a chart-topping act and significant live draw in its own right, and earned Rutherford an Ivor Novello Award for the 1988 single "The Living Years".He is 70 years old 🎈.
Tom Petty was an American singer-songwriter, multi-instrumentalist, record producer, and actor. He was the lead vocalist and guitarist of Tom Petty and the Heartbreakers, formed in 1976. He previously led the band Mudcrutch, and was also a member of the late 1980s supergroup the Traveling Wilburys.He died on this day in 2017 aged 66.

Light lunch time.
Sorted out the material to make more facemasks....
Now for Tea at 3 Belated.
I had to change the bobbin again.
After messing about....
I did three facemasks..
It was still raining...
No walk to be done today :(
A light tea.
We watched the final episode of season 10 of NYPD Blue.
Final shift of the week...
With a big tune to start with:
Gets back home.
Now onto Season 11!
Then off for snuggles in a very warm bed!

Going On A Long Warm Ride...

A Sunday well spent can bring on a week of content.....
After going to bed late this morning...
I caught up on some sleep... 
I heard my name mentioned on our local radio station for this Thursday 🎈🎈
Everyone had breakfast.
Time for nice ride in the sun...😎
 Nipped in for the free newspaper and coffee↓
 
 I saw a ex-postman who I used to work with, in my days working for Royal Mail. Had a good yak for 10 minutes :)
Now onto the Road Trip...

On the long road back home
 The sun going down when we got home.
 
 
 I took off the washing. 
Washing machine went back on again.

 "The Prime of Miss Jean Brodie" film based on novel by Muriel Spark directed by Ronald Neame, starring Maggie Smith (Academy Award Best Actress) premieres in London in 1969.
The ironing board came out to be played with,uniforms needed ironing...
