Getting Back On It!

Men aren't attracted to me by my mind. They're attracted to me by what I don't mind - Gypsy Rose Lee
Welcome to my Thursday 📬
Nice warm hug...
Followed by:
Brew and breakfast.
Thermal vest go on,
As well as lots of layers!
Gives hubby a sloppy wet 💋 before I leave the house.
Now to uncover Sexy Beast.
Two winter hats, and the Big Big Winter Gloves goes on,as well as boots!
I turn on my lights.
Now to walk down to my spot.
In for first ten minutes, I have 3 cars not stopping and going under my stick.
Plenting of BOING going on!
One tank goes past, she hadn't scraped any of the her windows, only a bit on her windscreen to see out of!
Cars were going too fast, and had to brake very quickly or it would be tap and crack for them!
The sun was coming up \o/
Finished the morning stint in one piece.
I collected the newspaper on the way home.
I put the coffee machine on.
Now to change into my pink Lycra
Out comes the spin bike.
What film am I going to watch?
 My mobile phone went off.
I ignored it and carried on.
20 minutes on the Spin Bike.
Then out comes the Abs machine...
Another 20 minutes on that.
Gets washed and changed.
Now to sort out tonight's tea.
Peeled the spuds.
Cabbage and peas in another saucepan.
Fried the mince with mushrooms and onions.
Put all together to make Cottage Pie.
Put it in the oven for later on.
Coffee time!
I had another letter from one of the other 4 inmates from the USA I was waiting for a reply from.
I will be writing the reply over the weekend.
Now to warm up the soup, we made last night.
Mushrooms, Parsnips, Sweet Potato, and Herbs.
Very nice.
The sun is out once more...
Time for those big big sunglasses to come out!
Still had my two winter hats on, as well as my gloves.
I turned on lights.
Now to go and chat with my friends...
There is going to be trouble ahead with that low lying sun.
I said goodbye to my friends.
Cars were just driving and not looking what's going on.
Two cars, one after each other just ignore my stick and drove under it.
The other two that followed at BOINGs!
One white van just saw my stick before I do TAP and CRACK on his windscreen.
He stopped dead in front of me!
"How was I supposed to get the kids over with a white van in the way?"
I told him to carry on!
Hometime!
I got chatting with my friend who is having a op on his hand next week. He was out with his wife, walking their dog.
She said:"You had better go and put tea on."
I replied,"I already have, just need to put the oven on."
They are have Jacket potato with salad.
I said,"Next time hubby asks what for tea, sniff the air, and say salad!"
They both laughed.
I said goodbye to both.
Back home.
I cover up Sexy Beast.
Puts the oven on.
Time for a brew!
Now to get on with writing yesterday's blog post.
Hubby comes home and receives a sloppy wet 💋
Dishes up the Cottage Pie.
4 empty plates afterwards.
Finishes writing yesterday's blog.
While I read today's newspaper.
Hubby goes onto the Abs machine for half an hour.

Digging Up The Past!

Im eighteen years behind on my ironing. There's no use it now, it doesn't fit anyone I know - Phyllis Diller
Welcome to my Saturday 📦📦
Nice warm hug with a brew.
Breakfast.
Dressed.
Out to get the newspaper.
Gets back and puts on the coffee machine.
Starts to get the ladders ready.
Cup of coffee to have before we start.
Now to sort out things for the tip or storage unit.
One trip to the storage unit.
Then a trip down to the tip.
Lunchtime.
Then back on it.
Another trip to the Storage Unit.
Slowly filling it up...
Then it's final trip down to the tip.
I meanwhile got the beef stew made and put in the oven...
The trusty casserole dish came out...
Dished it up when it ready.
Beef stew with leaks and green beans.
I found some old pictures of me....
Found a picture of me from 1998 with an old boyfriend called Paul.
The next photo is off two women who I used to go with to a Single Parent's Club in the late 90s.
Jackie on the left.
Ann on the right.
Next photo was me at my Birthday Party in Brannigans, in Birmingham with my good mate Harry↓
I even found a 18th Birthday card, from the staff of Poundstretchers with a £7 record token↓
I also have got all my Misty Annuals...↓
Time to get some more Magic Bags.
On the way to get the final Magic Bag,
Some one was in the wrong lane and swerved in front of me...
Nearly took my car out!
Was glad to get back home after that!
My father-in-law is having some of the above.
Out comes the Sleep Tea.
Watching series 20 of Hell's Kitchen.
Quick look into today's newspaper.
