Get Down Tonight!

If anything can go wrong, it will - Murphy's Law
Welcome to my Friday Feeling 🎈
Up early to do the Heardles:
Heardle 60s:
My answers:
Breakfast and Brew time.
On goes the thermal vest.
It is going to warm up later, so I may be taking it off!
Now to leave the house.
I gives hubby a sloppy wet one 💋
I had to go around the long way due to traffic lights.
On goes my winter coat, winter hats and winter gloves.
Puts on my first set of lights, then the newspaper.
Swaps the newspaper for my big stick.
Now to turn on my second set of lights.
Now let's go to work....
It might be a bit quiet as 1 of the 4 schools is closed due to them having a TE day.
Still had to give out a few BOINGs.
Saw a  relation of mine who waved at me when he went past.
Finished in one piece.
Now for coffee....
They didn't have any Whole Milk,
(I should have nipped into Lidl to get some)
Had a good yak with my friend.
I saw a ex-Postman, waved at him, and he had a blank look on his face. I was going to say hi to him but he just blanked me as he walked past me!
After the second cup of coffee, it was time to go.
Wished her a good weekend.
Liquid lunch.
Now out to do the final shift of the week.
I went a different way to work and a bit quicker.
Gets my summer cap on, winter coat and no gloves.
Go and turn on my lights.
A bus has broke down opposite my spot.
(Hopefully it will have be towed by when I start)
Low lying sun time.
One set turned on.
Now to walk down the road to turn on the other set of lights.
Turns on my other lights.
Meet up with one friend with her daughter.
Bus is being towed away.
Sit in the park with my two friends.
One friend has to go and pick up her other daughter.
The remaining friend and me go and talk in the square before I start my final shift of the week.
I wish him a good weekend and now to start.
It was a bit quiet at first, then I started to get busy crossing a lot of people over.
Still had to give a few BOINGs out for not stopping!
Finished in one piece.
Home Time.
Cup of tea time...
No cooking for me tonight \o/
Quick look into the newspaper.
UK No.1 on this day in 1956:
Dean Martin - Memories Are Made Of This.
UK No.1 on this day in 1966:

Moving The Friday Feeling About!

Money is exactly like sex: you think of nothing else if you don't have it and other things if you do - James Baldwin
Welcome to my Friday Feeling 🎈
Up early as we have lots of things to do!
Headle Time!
Headle 60s.
My results.
Breakfast and Brew.
On goes the thermal vest.
The rain has returned.
Hubby is hiring a van and taking our younger son to collect somethings from his late dad's house.
I meanwhile am going for coffee and yak!
I gave hubby a sloppy wet one 💋
I got the newspaper on the way.
Looked in Hobbycraft.
Now for some coffee, chat and nibble.
I had a good chat.
One good thing about visiting,
I didn't buy nothing at all!
Said goodbye to my friend and went home.
Hubby had come back with loads of stuff.
While he went back for more things.
I put the rug down in our living room!
Now to add the coffee table!
I started on with the tea, while hubby returned the Hire van.
Gave hubby a sloppy wet one 💋 when he came back.
Tea is served.
Now to look into today's newspaper.
US No.1 on this day in 1967:
The Beatles - Hello, Goodbye
Still have some moving about to do tomorrow...
That's one half of the living room done \o/
Sleep Tea time.
Now to burn some excess energy in bed with hubby!

Spreading The Friday Feeling!

There are some people who want to throw their arms round you simply because it is Christmas; there are other people who want to strangle you simply because it is Christmas.

Welcome to the Friday Feeling 🎈
Heardle Time:
Heardle 60s:
My answers:
Breakfast and Brew.
Thermal Vest goes on.
Plus a bit of sequin and Christmas Jumper!
Now to leave the house....
I gave hubby a sloppy wet one 😘 before I left.
On goes two Winter Hats, Winter Coat and winter gloves.
I got the newspaper.
I collected my big stick.
Now to turn on my lights.
Now let's go to work...🍭
Still having car drivers not stopping.
Plenty of BOINGs given out.
It didn't help that was a pile of dog poop on the pavement over the road where I stand in the afternoon.
I was warning the parents about it before I crossed.
Some kids still managed to walk into it.
I had to put up with late braking of cars.
Some left it really late to stop!
Finished in one piece.
I told the Clerk at the Parish Council about the dog poop.
She replied, "I always clean up after everyone, including dogs!"
I left and off to Dunelm I went.
I got the thermal linings for the kitchen curtain.
Back home.
On goes the coffee machine.
Dishwasher was unloaded and loaded up.
Now for that coffee...
I pinned the pair of thermal linings to the Kitchen curtain.
(They cover the kitchen door and one window)
That took a whole morning to take down, attach and put back up!
In need of some liquid refreshment!
Now to do the final afternoon shift.
On goes my Winter hats, Winter coat and gloves.
I turns on my lights.
I went down to the local Charity Shop...
I got some nice things...↓
Then I chat with one friend, as my other friend was running late.
We had a good rabbit....
I wished him a good weekend and I started my final shift of the week.
The cars over the otherside of the road was stopping in the KEEP CLEAR space, which I had trouble crossing the children over with no room for them to cross!
A few BOINGs were handed out for good measure!
At least I finished in one piece!
Back home I go.
Time for a brew!
Out comes the Air Fryer to do the Fish and Chips.
Hubby comes home and has a sloppy wet one 💋
Tea is ready.
Yum!
Hubby went to do four days food shopping.
Looks into today's newspaper.
US No.1 on this day in 1967:
The Monkees - Daydream Believer
US No.1 on this day in 1972:
The Temptations - Papa Was A Rollin' Stone.
US No.1 on this day in 1978:
Barbra Streisand and Neil Diamond - You Don't Bring Me Flowers
I helped unpack the food shopping when hubby came home.
Once all put away.
Time for a Sleep Tea.
Off to Droitwich Spa tomorrow.....
