Blood Bath!

If you want to get rid of somebody, just tell them something for their own good - Kin Hubbard.
Welcome to my Hump of the Week 🐪
Warm hug with a brew.
Breakfast.
Dressed.
I got the kids up for their on-line learning.
Hubby was working from home today.
I had to go for a little ride out...
I got the newspaper.
Then carried onto Morrisons.
I did the top up shopping.
I went to get a takeaway coffee,
the till stopped working....
I got a free coffee as the till was taking a lot time to load up!
Back home...
It is starting to get warmer!
Now to start the lemon meringue.
I got the pastry baked.
Now to grate the lemons...
Oh dear...
Let the bloodbath start!
The grater was so sharp it took several layers of skin off my right thumb.
Blood everywhere, I even changed to a cheese grater, the blood wouldn't stop!
I getting worried after 10 minutes, as it wouldn't stop bleeding!
15 minutes it finally stopped!
Washed everything that was covered in my lovely red blood!
Did the filling, followed by the Meringue.
I was glad for lunch!
My Valentine's order arrived.
More nice material arrived to make more facemasks with.
I wrote yesterday's blog post.
Then it was Tea at 3.
Then a quick read of today's newspaper.

Jiles Perry "J. P." Richardson Jr. , known as The Big Bopper, was an American musician, singer, songwriter, and disc jockey. His best known compositions include "Chantilly Lace" and "White Lightning", the latter of which became George Jones' first number-one hit in 1959. Richardson was killed in a plane crash in Clear Lake, Iowa in 1959, along with fellow musicians Buddy Holly and Ritchie Valens, and the pilot Roger Peterson. He was 28 year old.
I got on with making the tea.
We did our clap for Captain Tom.
Tea is now ready.
Lamb tea!
Let's see if pudding is ready!
We carried on watching season 3 of Narcos.
We only watched 2 episodes, as I wasn't feeling very well.
I took my sleep tea to bed.
I only had a sip....
I went out like a light!
