John William "Long John" Baldry  was an English-Canadian blues singer, musician and voice actor. In the 1960s, he was one of the first British vocalists to sing the blues in clubs and shared the stage with many British musicians including the Rolling Stones and the Beatles. Before achieving stardom, Rod Stewart and Elton John were members of bands led by Baldry. He enjoyed pop success in 1967 when "Let the Heartaches Begin" reached No. 1 in the UK, and in Australia where his duet with Kathi McDonald "You've Lost That Lovin' Feelin'" reached No. 2 in 1980. Baldry lived in Canada from the late 1970s until his death. He continued to make records there, and do voiceover work. Two of his best-known voice roles were as Dr. Robotnik in Adventures of Sonic the Hedgehog, and as KOMPLEX in Bucky O'Hare and the Toad Wars
He died on this day aged 64 in 2005
The moon was out, while I watered the plants.

Hope it's not going to be too warm in the bedroom tonight....

Now for the fun to start ...🎈
I had a bottle of water to help me cope with this heat. One lorry went straight under my stick, while two trucks had to slam on their brakes to stop!
At least I was given a present from one of the parents I cross over :)
I finished in one piece, well hot under the collar.
Back home for a refleshing lolly!
Watered the plants before the sun moved around.
Nice cup of coffee inside as it was getting too warm outside.
Then I got the iron out and ironed all my t-shirts.
The washing machine went back on as well.
Very light lunch.
Now for part two of lollipop.
I got my Summer Coat on.
Went to the near-by corner shop to buy my ice lolly. Put on my lights. Now to stand in the shade in the park and have a good suck on the ice lolly before I start my Lollypop job.
I also had a bottle of water to help me out with the heat!
Only a few cars failed to stop on the otherside.
I was glad to finish in one piece as I was warm in the summer coat!
Gets back home for a iced refreshment!
I watched more episodes of
Hotel Inspector.
Too hot to cook...
Sent out for pizza.
The kids had 2 slices of each of my pizza.
Hubby came home from visiting his dad.
I had a quick read of today's newspaper.
