Big Baps!

Hug with a brew.
Breakfast.
Dressed.
Gave hubby a wet sloppy πŸ’‹ before he went to work.
(He was getting the newspaper on the way to work) 
I got the kids up, ready for their on-line learning for school.
I went outside to get some fresh air.
Coffee time.
I add the roll mixture to the breadmaker.
I start writing yesterday's blog post.
Got mixture out of the breadmaker..
Shaped out the rolls.
Put them in the oven to prove.
Filled the jars I had yesterday,
with flour. In the kitchen cupboard they went.
Lunchtime.
Finished writing yesterday's blog post.
I even put a jukebox on my Twitter :)
Tea at 3.
The nice big baps are ready!
Film time.

Hubby came back from seeing his dad.
Both were glad of seeing each other and a good few hours of talking.
He gives me the newspaper for a quick read.
Sir Tom  Courtenay  is an English actor of stage and screen. After studying at the Royal Academy of Dramatic Art, Courtenay achieved prominence in the 1960s with a series of acclaimed film roles, including The Loneliness of the Long Distance Runner (1962)⁠, for which he received the BAFTA Award for Most Promising Newcomer to Leading Film Roles⁠, and Doctor Zhivago (1965), for which he received an Academy Award nomination for Best Supporting Actor. Other notable film roles during this period include Billy Liar (1963), King and Country (1964), for which he was awarded the Volpi Cup for Best Actor at the Venice Film Festival, King Rat (1965), and The Night of the Generals.  
He is 84 years old 🎈 
Elkie Brooks (born Elaine Bookbinder) is an English singer. She was a vocalist with the bands Dada and Vinegar Joe, and later became a solo artist. She gained her biggest success in the late 1970s and 1980s, releasing 13 UK Top 75 singles, and reached the top ten with "Pearl's a Singer", "Sunshine After the Rain" and the title track of the album No More the Fool. She has been nominated twice for Brit Awards.
Brooks is a Gold Badge Award of Merit winner from formerly the British Academy of Songwriters, Composers and Authors – BASCA now The Ivors Academy.
She is generally referred to as the "British Queen of Blues".
She is 76 years old 🎈
Mike Peters MBE DL is a Welsh musician, best known as the lead singer of the Alarm. After the band split up in 1991, Peters wrote and released solo work, before reconstituting the Alarm in 2000. Additionally, he is co-founder of the Love Hope Strength Foundation. Between 2011 and 2013, Peters was the vocalist for Big Country as well as The Alarm.
He is 62 years old 🎈 
Mark  Hollis was an English musician and singer-songwriter. He achieved commercial success and critical acclaim in the 1980s and 1990s as the co-founder, lead singer and principal songwriter of the band Talk Talk. Hollis wrote or co-wrote most of Talk Talk's music—including hits like "It's My Life" and "Life's What You Make It"—and in later works developed an experimental, contemplative style. 
He died on this day in 2019 aged 64

One Bang, & It's Gone!

Welcome to my Hump of the Week πŸͺ
Hug and brew to start the day.
Breakfast.
Followed by a hot shower.
Dressed.
Hubby goes and fetches the newspaper.
I turn on my Lava Lamp and the bulb blows!
Trying to find a matching bulb is going to be an adventure!
Either the watt is too high,or the bulb is too expensive!
I could have got a new Lava lamp on what I paid for the 3 bulbs I got in the end!
At least my bread flour order arrived!
Now to sort out my kitchen unit that will hold this flour↓
I sorted and gave it a good clean out.
I didn't have enough storage jars for where the flour was going in to.
On-line order, hubby will pick them up later.
I whipped up a French style of bread in the breadmaker while I was sorting out the various flours.
Much needed coffee time.
Afterwards, I went outside for some much needed fresh air.
I had a funny shaped parcel delivered to me.
It was the wallpaper boarder I ordered.
Another job to be done over the weekend!
I had more post as well.
The final book I ordered for my next neighbour came.
As well as a book I ordered for one of my sons.
I had a letter about booking an appointment for my Covid jab. Already booked in for mine in a few days...

Al Lettieri  was an American actor and screenwriter. During his career, he acted with some of Hollywood's biggest screen stars, including Steve McQueen in The Getaway, Charles Bronson in Mr. Majestyk, John Wayne in McQ, Richard Harris in The Deadly Trackers, Michael Caine and Mickey Rooney in Pulp, and Marlon Brando and Al Pacino in The Godfather. In most of those roles, he was cast as a villain and was sometimes credited as Anthony Lettieri.
He would have been 93 years old 🎈 
He died aged 47 in 1975.
Paul Jones  is an English singer, actor, harmonica player, radio personality and television presenter. He first came to prominence as the lead singer and harmonicist of the successful 1960s group Manfred Mann, with whom he had several Top Ten hit records from 1962 to 1966. He presented The Blues Show on BBC Radio 2 for thirty-two years, from 1986 to 2018. 
He is 79 years old 🎈 
 
 
David Goldstein , better known as Rupert Holmes, is a British-American composer, singer-songwriter, musician, dramatist and author. He is widely known for the hit singles "Escape (The PiΓ±a Colada Song)" (1979) and "Him" (1980). He is also known for his musicals Drood, which earned him two Tony Awards, and Curtains, and for his television series Remember WENN.
He is 74 years old 🎈 
Harold Ramis  was an American actor, comedian, director and writer. His best-known film acting roles were as Egon Spengler in Ghostbusters (1984) and Ghostbusters II (1989), and as Russell Ziskey in Stripes (1981); he also co-wrote those films. As a director, his films include the comedies Caddyshack (1980), National Lampoon's Vacation (1983), Groundhog Day (1993), and Analyze This (1999). Ramis was the original head writer of the television series SCTV, on which he also performed, as well as a co-writer of Groundhog Day and National Lampoon's Animal House (1978). The final film that he wrote, produced, directed, and acted in was Year One (2009)
He died on this day in 2014 aged 69.

Circling That Important Date...

Hug with a brew to start the day.
Breakfast.
Hubby went and got the newspaper.
I went back to enjoy the kingsize bed...
Later on I had a lovely coffee in bed with a quick read of the newspaper.
Mike Maxfield (born in Manchester, England) is an English songwriter and guitarist, who came to fame as a member of The Dakotas. He composed "Cruel Sea", a song which was first recorded by The Ventures . The Dakotas later recorded an instrumental version of the track, which was one of the group's biggest hits. 
He is 77 years old 🎈

Now to face the world!
I go outside for some fresh air.
It was so warm, all the windows got opened.
I had my letter to tell me to shield until March 31st.
Not long to go until I have the 1st dose of the Covid-19 vaccine...
Not long until my Birthday either 🎈
I chopped some peppers,onions, mushrooms, and garlic ready for tonight's tea of Smoked Haddock fillets with cheddar and mustard sauce.
Now for lunchtime.
We had to guess the year while having lunch.
I have added own selection of hits.....↓
Then I got on writing yesterday's blog post.
I enjoyed listening to lots of Guy Mitchell songs like↓

We watched the newspaper review.
Hubby will be getting the Daily Mirror tomorrow as well as our normal newspaper and neighbour's magazine.
