Wearing Those Red Feathers Again!

Hubby was back on the Wobbly Work Wheel 🎡 
&
 Kids were back to on-line learning for school
Hug with brew.
Breakfast.
Dressed.
Gave hubby a sloppy wet 💋 before he left to go to work.
(He was picking up the newspaper on the way)
I got kids up ready for them to do their on-line learning. 
I meanwhile had loads to do.
A knock at the door,and my parcel arrived.
Pending return?
Glad they found my house!
New boarder for going up the stairs.
I had to order another one, as 2 isn't going to be enough.
The slashback has finally stuck behind the oven \o/
Today would have been my 18th Wedding Anniversary to my first husband.
However we got divorced in 2011
&
I got married to second husband in 2011 too.
(In the space of 43 days of being divorced!)
I will be celebrating my 10th wedding Anniversary this September \o/
Washing machine went back on twice,
Closely followed by the tumble drier.
All the bins were emptied in the house.
Recycling done.
My mate Henry came out for a play:
Coffee time!
The bread was made fresh by the breadmaker.
I have ordered some more bread flour.
That should be coming in the next few days.
Now to use up the last of the bread I made a few days ago...with my lunch.
Afterwards, I escaped outside for some fresh air.
That's better!
Went onto writing yesterday's blog post.
I noticed on Hot UK Deals email there was a code for £5 off a Waitrose Shopping Home Delivery.
Nice late Birthday treat for me, as I could get delivery for next week.
Did the shopping list, and got £5 off!
Tea at 3.
I finally got blog wrote!
Started on the Meat Free Stir Fry.
Gave hubby a big sloppy 💋 when he got back.
Tea is served.
After tea, I looked into today's newspaper.
Guy Mitchell (born Albert George Cernik) was an American pop singer and actor, successful in his homeland, the UK, and Australia. He sold 44 million records, including six million-selling singles. In the fall of 1957, Mitchell starred in ABC's The Guy Mitchell Show. He appeared as George Romack on the 1961 NBC western detective series Whispering Smith.
He would have been 94 years old🎈
He died aged 72 in 1999.
We watched Boris live from Number 10.
The we caught up with today's Judge Rinder episode.

Stretching The Pins!

I got up to make a brew.
Unloaded and loaded up the dishwasher.
Sleeping Beauty awoke.
He then went onto make breakfast.
I took the cups of tea upstairs.
Breakfast time!
Bacon and mushroom sandwich!
Yum yum!
Dressed.
I got the kids up with opening all their windows.
My youngest son had to clean the car he inherited off our neighbour.
I hope my neighbour can make it up to his Birthday next month.
(He has been lucky to get this far, as the Doctors only gave him a few months to live in August!)
We do our daily exercise for half an hour.
Felt better for that.
Coffee time!
I started on writing two blog posts.
Hubby goes upstairs and tries to get the grout off the tiles in the bathroom.
I got Friday's blog wrote.
Nearly finished writing Saturday's post, and there was a glitch, and everything disappeared!
Whole hour wasted!
Much need coffee time again...
Back to rewriting the blog post again.
Late lunch.
I finally get yesterday's blog wrote and published.
Trying to find a boxset of films we are watching the first later.
Clothes are dry in the tumble drier.
(First job of Monday to get them sorted out)
Kids had no homework during half term.
The pies get put in the oven.
On goes the film..

Tea is served.

She would have been 87 years old 🎈

Ellen Tyne Daly  is an American actress. She has won six Emmy Awards for her television work and a Tony Award, and is a 2011 American Theatre Hall of Fame inductee.
Daly began her career on stage in summer stock in New York, and made her Broadway debut in the play That Summer – That Fall in 1967. She is best known for her television role as Detective Mary Beth Lacey in Cagney & Lacey (1982–88), for which she is a four-time Emmy Award winner as Outstanding Lead Actress in a Drama Series. In 1989, she starred in the Broadway revival of Gypsy and won the 1990 Tony Award for Best Actress in a Musical.
She is 75 years old 🎈
 
William  Baldwin  is an American actor, producer and writer. A member of the Baldwin family, he is the third-oldest of the four Baldwin brothers. He has starred in the films Flatliners (1990), Backdraft (1991), Sliver (1993), Virus (1999), The Squid and the Whale (2005), played himself in Forgetting Sarah Marshall, and currently stars in and produces the Netflix show Northern Rescue. Baldwin is married to singer Chynna Phillips. He is 58 years old 🎈
Les Gray  was an English musician best known for his work with glam rock pop band Mud. Gray was also known for his distinctive vocal impersonation of Elvis Presley.
He died on this day in 2004 aged 57

Come With Me To Watch The Box!

Breakfast.
The helicoper had returned.
We went back to bed to enjoy the warm duvet cover.
Now to get up,
Dressed.
Out of the house for some fresh air!
We paid a visit to my parent's grave.
The gravestone behind my parents, was returned and filled the details of the man I chattered last March before the first lockdown.
Then off to pick up some shopping.
I sat in the car while we waited.
Hubby loaded the shopping in the boot and off we went back home.
We put the shopping away.
One of my kids found a 48 year old picture of me with my late dad :)

Read  today's newspaper.
Peter  Strauss  is an American television and film actor, known for his roles in several television miniseries in the 1970s and 1980s. He is five-time Golden Globe Awards nominee.
He is 74 years old🎈
Robert Strauss  was an American actor. He became most familiar in Hollywood films of the 1950s such as Stalag 17 (1953), for which he was nominated for an Academy Award for Best Supporting Actor. 
He died on this day aged 61 in 1975.
We watched the last episode of "Judge Rinder" on the planner.
Now to carry on watching 2 episodes of Top of the Pops from 1990.

I started on the evening meal. 
Once done, I put it in the oven.
Movie Time! 
Tea was ready.
Another film to watch.
It is called  Lessons in Love for the UK release.
Really great film.
Malcolm McDowell plays Pierce's dad.
He stole every scene he was in.
Great film!

Now to enjoy that lovely duvet again!
