Adding The Bling!

 Hubby has come down with something nasty..
The red cross is painted on the front door...
I was up early to make the cup of tea↓
 Hubby didn't want any breakfast just yet.
I had my porridge...
I didn't give hubby a sloppy ๐Ÿ’‹
As he looked quite ๐Ÿ˜ฉ green.
Off for a little ride....
 
Picks up the newspaper...
Listened to more Xmas tunes...↓
(too good to put away just yet!) 
 I gets to Webbs before they open.
I have a quick look in the newspaper↓
Mike Pinder, English keyboard player and Mellotron pioneer (Moody Blues),is 78 years old ๐ŸŽˆ
Pinder's earlier non-album song "A Simple Game" (1968), for which he won an Ivor Novello Award.
It was covered by:
 Sir Alan Bates,English actor, died aged 69 in 2003.
Carrie  Fisher was an American actress, writer, and comedian.She died aged 60 in 2016.
There were queues of people waiting to get into Webbs...
At least I got into my B3 space↓
 
When I got in.Everyone was filling their trolleys with 50% off Christmas stuff.
I head off for coffee and chat...↓
Had a good yak!
Said goodbye...
Now to look around..
I got some nice bits from there...↓
I have a quick look in Lakeland...
I didn't see any Kennys....↓
 Now off to Morrison's with some Christmas music...↓
 I gets some bits for the evening meal....
We didn't need anything else...
Back home with Wham..
 
 Hubby was still in bed,
Looking very green.
I had my salad..↓
 He had hot steamy chicken soup!
I got changed and off to work with some great music..
I gets back...
I needed to sort out where I was putting my *Bling diffusers*
In the toilet...↓
 The other in the hallway....↓
The tea I had planned is shelved until tomorrow...
(As I had run out of time to prepare the feast!)
Crackers and cheese time!
Now to watch some Netflix...

Getting Them Bargains In!

I had a little lie-in....
Followed by tea and cuddles in bed!

 I forgot to open a present from my dad↓
 Nice↓
 We all get up, dressed and to pick up my Dunelm order↓
 Nice coffee with mince pie↓
 The view from my chair↓
 Then we looked around..
That would look nice in my bedroom if I had room↓
 
 Then off to town to get more bargains.

 I gave 5 plastic empty items into Bodyshop.
They don't do the £5 voucher no more :( :(
Got some items from there in their sale.
 I went into Debenhams and got another bargain↓
I saw a long queue to get into Pandora shop.
Then off to get some bits from Wilkinsons↓
While I was paying for my items in HMV,
I noticed a Manfred Mann boxset for £45↓
 Oh I was so tempted....
(I resisted)
Back home to unpack my bargains from HMV↓
Now onto my Dunelm order↓
 I enjoyed a Picnic↓
  Now off to work I go...
 I gets back to have a Lemsip...
As all the males of the households have coughs, and feeling shit!
Hubby tried to do tea without the Turkey that was left!
(Nice try!)
Back on the turkey we go...
A lovely turkey salad....
Yum Yum!
The 13 year old boiler is now playing up again..
It is only letting us have heat and no hot water!!!!

 Breaks open the new dvd of:

 Sir Nigel Hawthorne, English actor (Tartuffe, Pope John Paul II) died aged 72 in 2001
 Fontella Bass, American R&B and soul singer and songwriter (Rescue Me), dies from a heart attack at 72 years old in 2012.

The Need For No Speed!

Woo hoo Christmas Day is finally here!
I had to wake up in excitement 
or
Just needed a cup of tea↓
 The oven was turned on to get the turkey cooked..
Back to sleep....
At ten am....
With a cup of coffee..
 It was downstairs to open the presents!
 Loads of lovely presents↓
 Hubby's presents↓
 This is my youngest son's present↓
 Nice breakfast↓
 The cake is ready to eat↓
 We go off for a little ride..
 To see my dad and give him his presents.
My youngest brother and his wife is bringing him his Christmas dinner this year.
I gets back to put everything else in the oven,
 Hubby goes fetches his dad.
Once my father-in-law arrives.
Christmas dinner is ready to serve up↓
 Well nice :)
We catch up on some movies to watch:
We had crackers and cheese for tea.
I had to scrape Sexy Beast as the car was frozen!
  I went down those country lanes without any street lights, with only my headlights on and some good Christmas music...
Some car drivers didn't like been stuck behind me sticking to the speed limit....
I didn't fancy finding myself in the hedge if I speeded up on the icy dark roads! 
*Had the same fun coming back.....!*
We put my dad to bed,
As younger brother changed his mind about stopping over night!
The prodigal brother is visiting my dad tomorrow and hoping my other brother will see my dad too! 
Now to watch Gavin & Stacey Christmas Special ...
 Then we watched a programme on BBC News on the Celebrity Deaths in 2019
There was some sad news,
Allee Willis  was an American songwriter and director. She died on Christmas Eve aged 72. Willis co-wrote hit songs including "September" and "Boogie Wonderland" by Earth, Wind & Fire. She was nominated for an Emmy Award for "I'll Be There For You", which was used as the theme song for the sitcom Friends, and won two Grammy Awards for Beverly Hills Cop and The Color Purple, the latter of which was also nominated for a Tony Award. She was the only woman to be inducted into the Songwriters Hall of Fame in 2018. 
 Rod Serling, writer and host (Twilight Zone, Night Gallery), would have been 94 years old.๐ŸŽˆ
 He died aged 50 in 1975.
Kenny Everett [Maurice James Christopher Cole], British DJ and TV personality (Kenny Everett Show), would have be 75 years old๐ŸŽˆ
He died aged 50 in 1995
Dido , is an English singer and songwriter. Dido attained international success with her debut album No Angel (1999) is 48 years old ๐ŸŽˆ
 Now to drag a hubby off to bed to try out one of "other" "adult" present on him....
