Gotta Get Through This!

Welcome to my flu ridden wobbly work wheel!
 I'm still running a high temperature!
Now for tea in bed!
 I went back to sleep to try to sleep off this feeling crap mood!
Once I got up, I wore about 8 layers of clothing, to keep warm! 
 I decided to get out my pom pom makers and to make a wreath to keep busy while watching Netflix.

 Then I found series of Ramsay's Kitchen Nightmares from 2003 - 2014
Had some chicken soup with chilli flakes for lunch.
 Now to look at some Birthdays.
 Benny Hill [Alfred Hawthorn Hill]: British comedian (The Benny Hill Show),would have been 95 years old.
(He died aged 68 in 1992)
 Edwin Starr, [Charles Hatcher]: US singer (War) would have been 77 years old.
(He died aged 61 in 2003) 
 Jack Lord: American actor (Hawaii FIVE-O), dies at 77 in 1998.
Michael Winner: English film director and producer (Death Wish)dies aged 77 in 2013.
 Bee Gee's album "Saturday Night Fever" goes #1 for 24 weeks in 1978

The Vicks Vapour Rub gets smeared all over me before I go to bed.
 Good job hubby likes the smell of Vicks!

Making A Quick.....

With a nice bit of lie-in....
 I'm still feeling unwell...
 I went outside for the first time since Last Monday.
 The High Temperature returned...
I slept it off on the sofa.
Another good cup, 
My hubby bought me yesterday↓
 
 I enjoyed a nibble of honey on toast with some lemsip...↓
Hubby went out to do the food shopping with the kids.
I was wrapped up nice and warm listening to the radio.
I had a quick look at the Birthdays.
 DeForest Kelley: American actor, screenwriter, poet and singer (Star Trek), 
would be 99 years old.
(He died aged 79 in 1999) 
 Tom Baker: English actor (fourth Doctor in Doctor Who),is 85 years old.
 Eric Stewart, rock guitarist ( The Mindbenders,10cc,) is 74 years old.
 Etta James [Jamesetta Hawkins]: American singer,dies aged 73 in 2012.
 Audrey Hepburn: British actress (Roman Holiday), dies aged 63 in 1993.
John Fred & His Playboy Band were #1 on the Billboard Hot 100 singles chart with the song, 'Judy In Disguise' in 1968.
 Everyone gets all their things ready for work and school tomorrow.
And me?
The Quick.....Decision of
whether I am fit enough to go back on the wobbly work wheel will be made tomorrow morning....

Oh Dear, How Sad, Never Mind....

                                         Someone got up early........
And put on the radio....
"Sounds of the 60's" time!
 I am still feeling unwell...↓
 Enjoyed tea and crumpets in bed↓
Hubby took the kids out to see my dad and then off to get some charity shop bargains.
He bought me a cup which just describes what I have been doing to get over this Flu↓↓
Made full use of it with lemon,ginger and honey tea...
After hearing that Windsor Davis had passed away.
We watched some episodes of "It Ain't Half Hot Mum" on You Tube.
I must be feeling a bit better.
As I made a homemade shepherd's pie.
 I checked the Birthdays:
Phil Everly:
American singer and half of the rock and roll duo "The Everly Brothers" (Bye Bye Love, Wake Up Little Susie),would have been 80 years old.
(He died in aged 74 in 2014)
Michael Crawford [Michael Patrick Smith]: British Broadway star (Phantom of the Opera), is 77 years old.
Dolly Parton: American country singer (Dolly, 9 to 5),is 73 years old.
 Carl Perkins: Singer/songwriter,(Blue Suede Shoes) died aged 65 in 1998.
 Wilson Pickett:
American R&B singer (Funky Broadway), dies aged 64 in 2006.
"Scrabble": debuts on board game market in 1955.
It was then to watch something on Netflix...↓
 I just put my head on the pillow at about 2am.....

I Want This Flu Would Go Now!

 The Friday Flu Feeling has landed..
I enjoyed the cup of tea in bed.
 
 I was feeling terrible,
I went back to bed.
When I finally got up,
My Amazon delivery had turned up!
 
 Hopefully these might make the flu go away↑↑
My new magazine arrived↓
 Keeping the legs warm......↓
 Some nice soup :)
 Followed by a lemsip↓
 I watched a lovely documentary about Bobby Robson↓
 Before I started to read a lot of magazines↓
 I looked at today's Birthdays.
 A. A. Milne: English author of the Winnie-the-Pooh books was born in 1882.
Tom Bailey: English rock vocalist & keyboardist (Thompson Twins-Doctor Doctor),is 63 years old.

Tony Hart: English artist and television presenter (Take Hart, Hartbeat), dies at 83 in 2009.
Al Waxman: Canadian actor,(Cagney & Lacey) died aged 65 in 2001.
 We found a great film to watch on Netflix.
 Hopefully got two days to fight this flu!
