The weekend is finally here \o/

I was up early to listen to

" The Sounds of the 60s"

Had a early breakfast...

Once everyone was up....

It stopped raining.

We went to the Bandstand to celebrate 
the life of Emmeline Pankhurst

 

 

 Our Redditch MP and Redditch Mayor was there.

 They all disappeared to have their photo took.

I waited for them to come back.

 

 We sat on the bench to carrying on listening.

I got chatting to a ex-worker from my time at Fawlty Towers....

Our water Fountain on the Church Green.

While everyone was taking photos, we went to the cafe. Sat on the leather settee, to enjoy a coffee, and waited for everyone to arrive.

 

I chatted to the MP again.

I even got two dvds for 50p

Walked back to the Library..

 

A really nice went past me :)

Chatted with a ex-postie.

A couple sat opposite me.

I recognised the man as my older's son's real Granddad from Kings Norton with his second wife sat with him.

(I haven't spoke to him since 1993 when he chased me around his drive with a hammer, then my boyfriend and his dad was trying to strangle each other on the drive)

The Grandfather is looking more like his son everytime I see him...

Arrived back home before the rain started again...

Sorted out my dad's Birthday cards out for tomorrow.

Had a quick tea as we were going out to a Snooker Awards Evening.

 

 

 Nice cold lemonade.

We had a quiz.

We had our usual name.

Handscuffs & Babyoil.

 At half time we were third.

 Hubby's team won the Divison one championship

 

 His team were Runner's up in a cup match.

 

 

 Nice sunset.

We finished second at the end.

We had a nibble at the buffet.

Gets back home....

Hopefully we are having a much deserved lie-in tomorrow....

I Wonder Why

The sun was out again \o/

Happy Birthday to my friend.

I hope she enjoyed her card...

 Out for a little ride in the Sexy Beast.

 Just starting singing "I Wonder Why" while walking through the Kingfisher Centre. I told Jack that's where his middle name comes from. "Is this Curtis Stigers then?" He grumbled 🙄 I nodded, and carry on singing it to him

After hitting Wilkinsons & Poundland we chill in the Library.

 Gets back to the car to see the temperature going up ↗↗↗↗

Up to 25c.....
Pops into see my dad.
Nothing can be said against the Prodical Son who is visiting him until Wednesday.
Back home to pot a payday treat.
However run out of compost!!
Off to B&Q

 I got two for £7.

All potted :)
Went to do Job 3
Came back with a sweaty face..🍅

 Are we going to expect some rain??

We cleaned out the remaining gerbils.
The grey gerbil, Karen passed away :(
We are down to 4 gerbils and 1 hamster.
As we were expecting to see the Blood Moon tonight...
All we could see was Clouds :(

 We get some red clouds but no blood moon..
Now to use up some Friday Feeling on a willing hubby..... 

 

Feeling The Cold Breeze...

Welcome to a very hot Thursday.

 

 I nipped down to Morrisons to stock up on the ice 🍭

Rounded up the kids to visit a friend

 I could only visit for 20 minutes, as I had to park on the road. Any longer and I could get a parking ticket of £35.

It may have been 25c+ but I could feel bit of a cold breeze for some reason...

We left to go home.

I sat under my parasol↓↓

 

 Once the clouds lifted, it was so warm and sweaty, I had to retreat into the house and put the fan on...so so warm...

I did Job 3
Had to jump into the shower,
as I was so sweaty... 
Then off to a Redditch Labour Meeting
for two hours...

  Enjoyed a nice coloured moon when I got back...

 Hopefully we get chance to see the Blood Moon tomorrow...

Walking Hump.

Welcome to my Hump of the Week.

 

 The sun was out and it was getting warm.

I had to sort some evidence out for the Child Maintenance Department, to prove there is £810 arrears outstanding

I have told them they have 4 weeks to do something about it...

or

 I am opening a claim with the Small Claims Service 

Now to walk off some chins...

 

 

 

Not too bad.

I will have to change my trainers as the left one, was rubbing my scar, and I had to hobble at the end. 

Gets back

 Jumps into the shower.

 

 Has my lunch in the front garden, in the sunshine.

Off to do Job 3. 

Comes back looking like a overripe 🍅

 

 Sits in the garden to cool down..

 After tea,

Caught up on more

 Now to enjoy a different type of hump....
