Looking Through The Square Window!

Woo hoo it's the start of my holidays..

 I will be sitting on my hands a lot this week!!

As I got a car repair and MOT bill to pay for at the end of the week :(

The money tree down the bottom of the garden is looking bare!

So while the kids went to Film Club

We did lots of window shopping today.

The Friday Feeling soon vanished this afternoon.

Too be replaced by Friday Madness

Roll on to the second shift of JOB 1 

Went to cross over the road, taxi shot out of the junction, straight in front of me.

If I hadn't moved out of the way,I would have been knocked down.

This certain offending taxi driver has tried 3 times before to knock me down.

I feel like a cat minus 4 lives!

So glad it's my last day at work for 10 days.

Now to enjoy some much deserved Friday Feeling with a early night with warm hubby in even warmer bed!

 

Cooling Them Down!

The feet are cooling down in a bucket of water.....

So far this week I have clocked up the magic 9 miles...

Walking another 2 miles tomorrow...

I put my creative talents to some use.

I made my son's teacher a leaving card..

Last day of work tomorrow..

Then I have 10 days off with hubby...and kids..

I had a early night, so I woke up early...

Had a quick play with hubby.....

More walking, more baking, and more steam coming off my trainers!

I get to visit my dad 3 times a day.

(He might get a word in edgeways soon)

At least he shares my sense of humour in cups!

 

 

Quick Play With Kenny...

The sun is out once more.

The Pink Princess is off the road.

So using the next best thing....legs.

Been clocking up the miles, walking back and fro to work.

Be losing half a chin at this rate.

Stuck at home, what to do?

Oh yes, let's bake some goodies!

Out comes Kenny the Kenwood for a quick play!

Lavender shortbread followed by chocolate flavoured cupcakes....

 Now to try a sample of my baking ;P

 

Nearly Lost It!

The final week on the wobbly work wheel...

It's the Whitsun Holiday next week, woo hoo :)

After Job 1

Headed off to Morton Stanley Park with friend to do some walking.

Didn't help once we started...

I lost my phone !!!

It disappeared into the inner lining of my bag..

I could feel it, and hear it.

Finally retrieved it!

Panic over!

  We did 1.87 miles in 1 hour and 20 minutes.

We enjoyed some damn fine filter coffee, from Waitrose afterwards.

Got some nice walking routes next week to do.

Shhh, just don't tell the children ;)

 

 

Always One Has Got To Be Moody!

The sun was back after the rain.

Making the most of the dry weather.

We tried our normal car park to the lake (It was full)

Drove to the other main one.

Now for a nice walk.

One child of mine, wore his moody face and dragged his feet behind him!

The Sailing Club was using the lake

 We walked 2.2 miles in 1 hour and 8 minutes!

Even had the energy to drag out Henry the Hoover for some hoovering of the house!
