I Met The One & Only Boycie In Waterstones

I went and met John Challis in Waterstones today.
John Challis played Boycie in "Only Fools and Horses" TV Programme
He was signing his latest book.
While I was waiting to meet him.
He looked up and said,"She owes me £50 but she don't know that yet!"
I had my photo taken and had his autograph.
He was a very funny man.
It was a pleasure to meet him.

Nice Taste Of Lavender

Happy Friday 13th!
Last night I had my Mother's Day flowers off my older son.
Not just any flowers, but Marks & Spencer flowers!
I will take some of the pink roses to decorate my mum's grave on Sunday.
As she liked pink and roses
I got Kenny the Kenwood out for a play this morning.
Lavender Biscuit anyone?

Friday 13th Not Just Yet!!

The dreaded Friday 13th is tomorrow.
My fun started this morning ( a day early!)
The car passenger window refused to go up on the school run.
Then I got back, a bag of frozen vegetables split all over the kitchen floor.
What else is going to happen???
I had a good play with my mate Henry.
Then I made a shepherd's pie for tonight's tea
I will be thinking of good thoughts when I tuck into that White Chocolate,Lemon,& Cherry Cheesecake tonight !

Come In Dame Edna.....

What day I have had!
All three traffic lights  were stalled on red for an hour during the school run
Chaos ensues...
We had new walkie talkies at my second job.
My handle was Dame Edna Everage!
Was so glad to come home and do some home baking.
The result:
White Chocolate,Lemon & Cherry Cheesecake

Red Light Means Gridlock!

Traffic lights have appeared by where I cross the children over the road.
The fun started yesterday afternoon.
Gridlock.
Both sides of the road was not moving anywhere.
I don't know what I like more.
Cars not moving so I can cross the children  easily or
Cars going too fast and try to hit me crossing the road!!

Grab Your Coat, You've Pulled!

Making the most of family time..
We went to the nearby lake to feed the ducks.
The swans were getting very friendly.
They loved my hubby feeding them.
Nearly took the shopping bag away..
I laughed when he was surrounded by the swans.
"Grab your coat, you pulled a bird!". I said.

Church Visiting In The Sunshine!

I am so glad we visited 3 churches late yesterday.
The sun was out and lovely blue skies.
Still finding people living up and over 100 years old!
The three churches we visited were:
  1. St Peters - Inkberrow
  2. St Nicholas - Dormston
  3. St James - Kington
Today we have dark clouds and rain!
