Never The Twain!

Welcome to my Hump of the Week🐪
Playing with lots of white paint today!
Nice hug and tea to start the day.
 I gave hubby a big hug and a sloppy wet 💋 before he left the house.
I enjoyed a coffee with vitamin C↓
 Once yesterday's blog post was wrote and published.
I had a quick look in the newspaper.
 Now to paint all the radiators in the house.
  All had one coat of paint added to them.
Younger son did his paper round.
While the radiators were drying.
Early lunch!
 Added a second coat of paint to all the radiators.
 I got changed to go the the happy place of work.
 
 I took in the cleaning supplies
Some co-workers were talking about men, boyfriends and husbands.
The answer one replied to the other one not having a man at the moment was:
"Never the Twain shall meet!"
I got home to get the evening meal ready 
  
 We had a Roast Chicken dinner.
It cost me £5 to feed us four!
Caught up on some:
Off to work with some good music..
Caught up with the final part about Jade Goody.
 Now to use some  Hump 🐫....

House Of Many Colours!

Welcome to a hot hot Hump of the Week🐫
I slept on top of the bed last night, 
It was that warm!
I gave hubby a sloppy 💋 before he left for work...
I made full use of this warm weather...
More washing went on the line to dry.
Gave all my plants a little drink as well.
Now for a drink for me!
  Got the kids up...
No morphing on the sofa for them!!
Rooms need tidying!!
Tool boxes are at hand↓
Time for Alexa to play some Rock and Roll tunes to speed up the painting process....
She was playing some great tunes↓
 
 Now to repaint unit in a different colour....↓
 Another delivery of what???
 Paint!
 Painted the kitchen door.
From white to black :)
 More paint has been delivered!
 I have run out of black paint...
Now sourcing some more 
Lunch time↓
 Nice read of the newspaper
 I leave the house for the first time today.
Solid wall of heat...
 I need a sucky to cool down when I got back
 After tea I went to my other job..
With some great music...
It was still light when I got back
 Our 3 recycle bins are rammed.....
(They are being emptied tomorrow)
 Now to put up the new curtains up in our son's room↓
 The nice curtain pole is looking good too.
I might have to play with the drill tomorrow.....
(Shelves need to go into cupboard) 
It's going to be well warm tomorrow...

Nice Bit Of Plum!

I woke up early to enjoy that cup of tea..
 I gave everyone a big sloppy kiss💋 when they all left.
It was my turn to leave ....
 Still not very warm...

She would have been 111 years old. 
(She died aged 81 in 1989)
 Crispian St. Peters (born Robin Peter Smith): was an English pop singer-songwriter, best known for his work in the 1960s, particularly songs written by duo hits, The Changin' Times' including "The Pied Piper" and Ian & Sylvia's "You Were on My Mind".He would have been 80 years.
(He died aged 71 years in 2010)
 Allen Clarke:Is an English pop rock singer, who was one of the founding members and the original lead singer of The Hollies. He retired from performing in 1999, and was inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame in 2010.He is 77 years old.
Stan Ridgway:Is an American multi-instrumentalist singer-songwriter and film and television composer known for his distinctive voice, dramatic lyrical narratives, and eclectic solo albums. He was the original lead singer and a founding member of the band Wall of Voodoo.He is 65 years old.
Gene Pitney: Was an American singer-songwriter, musician, and sound engineer.
Pitney charted 16 Top 40 hits in the United States, four in the Top 10. In the United Kingdom he had 22 Top 40 hits, and 11 singles in the Top Ten. He also wrote the early 1960s hits "Rubber Ball" recorded by Bobby Vee, "He's a Rebel" by the Crystals, and "Hello Mary Lou" by Ricky Nelson. In 2002, he was inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame.He died aged 66 in 2006.
Charlton Heston (born John Charles Carter): Was an American actor and political activist.
As a Hollywood star, he appeared in almost 100 films over the course of 60 years. He played Moses in the epic film The Ten Commandments (1956), for which he received his first nomination for the Golden Globe Award for Best Actor – Motion Picture Drama, He also starred in Touch of Evil (1958) with Orson Welles, Ben-Hur (1959), for which he won the Academy Award for Best Actor, El Cid (1961), Planet of the Apes (1968), The Greatest Show on Earth (1952), Secret of the Incas (1954), The Big Country (1958) and The Greatest Story Ever Told (1965).He died aged 84 in 2008.
