Living It Up With The Friday Feeling!

It's finally here 🎇🎇🎇🎇🎇
 From 6am, we in the UK have to wear face coverings in shops.
I got mine ready for our daily walk today.
But first⇓⇓⇓
 Brew with hugs⇡⇡
Breakfast.
Dressed.
Out for daily walk
(With face mask)
 Soon as I walked into the shop to get my newspaper...
I just had to sing along with it loudly...⇣⇣
The man in front wasn't wearing a facemask, and was properly told to wear one next time.
I said,"You are going to be Mother Theresa today!"
She laughed.
"Have a good weekend, and see you Monday," I said leaving the shop.
Back home⇣
 I gave hubby a wet sloppy 💋 before he went to work.
First coffee of the day↓
 Fed the birds.
Gave them some fresh water.
 Armed with our facemasks.
Goes out with the youngest son in Sexy Beast.
 Popped into see Joe at Omega Therapies.
Last day of the £5 goody bag.
My youngest was pleased with his↓
 Quick read the newspaper↓
 Heinz Burt  was a German-born British bassist and singer, who performed under the stage name Heinz. He was also known as a member of instrumental group The Tornados.He would have been 78 years old 🎈 
He died aged 57 in 2000

My flour order arrived after 3 weeks I put the order in↓↓
 Light lunch time↓

 Now to get the tea made for later....

 Big tunes time↓
 Finished while it was still daylight↓
 Sat in the garden enjoying the silence.
Later on we caught up with Top of The Pops from 1989.
I bought a lot of vinyl records from that year.
I still have them.
A great number one↓
 Jive Bunny isn't just for Christmas......

 With the sleep tea↓
 We have a further two more weeks to watch tomorrow....
I know Band Aid 2 is in there...
(Fast forward time!)
We caught up on the newspaper review...

Ducking The Showers..

Brew time↓
 Breakfast.
Dressed.
Rain mac on as it just started to rain when we left the house↓
 Not very warm↓
 Gets to Waitrose↓
 I'm straight in.
(Good job, it's starts to rain heavy!)
Gets some bits for the upcoming Birthdays next week.
It was still raining when we got home↓
 Unloaded shopping.
Quick coffee↓
 Back out↓
 Pops into see Joe and Tracy at Omega Therapies.
 Off to Burcot Garden Centre
Had a good look around↓
 
 Off to another Garden Centre..
This time, LittleHeath↓
The hand gel had run out before we went it.There was just enough spray in the bottle to do the trolley......
 
 It starts raining again!!
We washed our hands in hand gel when we got back to the car.
Back home↓
 A late Tea at 3↓
 Back out to do the food shopping↓
 Lidl time↓
 They have flour!
 Chucks it down with rain↓
 Nice Bacon and Black Pudding sandwich for tea↓

 Levi Stubbs was an American baritone singer, best known as the lead vocalist of the R&B group the Four Tops, who released a variety of Motown hit records during the 1960s and 1970s. He has been noted for his powerful, emotional, dramatic style of singing.He would have been 84 years old 🎈
 He died aged 72 in 2008.

Turning My Fingers From White To Green!

I made sure of no long lie-in today.
The alarm went off at 8am.....
Tea with hugs time↓
 Breakfast.
Got dressed.
Nipped out to get the newspaper↓
 Tesco Express was closed for stocking the shelves until 10am.
We went further down the road to get the newspapers.
We then sat in the garden to enjoy the sunshine and coffee.
 My plants are flowering really nice this year!
  My good friend couldn't find any self raising flour anywhere.
I filled up a large jar with a little bag of Baking powder.
We left a good 2 meters apart when he came round to collect the flour.
We had a good chin wag.
He left.
We had a important meet over some things for the garden....
Woo hoo the bargains I got...
The plastic shelving unit is now in the back garden...
 &
The plants will be put in the garden later↓
 Off to do this week's shopping from Lidl.
We were only a handful wearing face coverings in there...
I was glad to get out.
Back home to unload the shopping.
Light lunch time↓
Gardening gloves time!
 I made room for the plants under the Cherry and Apple Trees.
 Dunelm store is only open for call and collect.
I have ordered something to fill the space at the back of the garden.
Collection tomorrow.
I found out what the bush is called in my garden↓

 We had a teabreak at 4pm↓
 Once I had planted everything.
(I have room for more plants.....
I will have to get more compost tomorrow!)
I was in the shower first...
It's going to get hot hot hot up to Wednesday.
Plenty of time to enjoy the garden.
Now for our evening meal...
Gammon with well done sweet potato chips.
I caught up with this weekend's newspapers...
 Tracey Bryn, pop singer, co- founder of Voice of the Beehive.The band had five Top 40 singles from two albums in the UK. Their biggest commercial success came with the singles "I Say Nothing", "Don't Call Me Baby", "Monsters and Angels" and "I Think I Love You".Tracey is now  a teacher in Laguna Beach, California. She is now 58 years old 🎈 
 More of season 5.....
I will probably find out if I will return to my school jobs soon (June 1st).
Better make the most of my reminding time I have off!
