Doing Some Good Deeds!

Television is for appearing on, not for looking at - Noel Coward
Welcome to my Saturday Funday 👄
There was no "Sounds of the 60s" as the host, Tony Blackburn was unwell.
Oh well, time to do the Heardles.
Heardle 50s:
Heardle 60s:
My results:
Breakfast and Brew.
The thermal vest still went on.
Now to do some good deeds.
We gifted some books and household things to Charity in Stratford Upon Avon.
I had a look around and didn't actually buy anything.
We nipped into the local Morrisons to get the newspaper.
Good film ;)
Drink and nibble time.
We dropped more books at the National Trust for their Charity Book Shop.
On the way out, we noticed they are replacing 3 windows...
On the way home, I had to track down where DPD delivered my parcel yesterday.
I had no luck from the Customer Service of DPD yesterday, the place where my parcel I got from was no help either.
At least I got it!
Liquid lunch time.
Now to do the food shopping.
Someone was trying to go through the No Entry!
Then decided to go the right way out of the car park.
Rainbows in Lidl↓
Replaced the Budda in the hallway.
The old one lost it's head!
We had a look in Dunelm↓
Then back home we went.
Unloaded the shopping.
Started on doing the tea for later.
Some of the things we couldn't give to Charity was put on free on Facebook and they soon went!
In went the tea in the oven!
Quick look into the newspaper.
UK No.1 on this day in 1972:
Nilsson - Without You
UK No.1 on this day in 1978:
Kate Bush - Wuthering Heights
Tea was ready.
Mmmmm Chicken Stew.
Now to watch some telly!
Great programme.
Then we watched
Sleep Tea Time.
Feeling tired just after 12.30am.
Time for that warm bed....🛏

Hunting High And Low!

Never judge a book by its movie - J.W Eagan
Welcome to my Tuesday Fun 😎
The rain is coming in later \o/
Heardle time.
Heardle 60s:
My son's answers:
Brew with Breakfast.
Dressed.
Gives hubby a sloppy wet one 💋 before he goes to work.
Gives the plants a quick water.
Searching high and low for my Nectar card...
I had bonus nectar points with the card...
Looked everywhere...
Then remembered someone borrowed my card to get the nectar points for petrol!
HUBBY!
I found the Nectar Key Fob!
Time to get a move on now!
First stop was to the Sainsbury's Petrol Station.
Tried to use the pay at pump, but doesn't accept the Nectar Key Fob, drive around and go the the pump that says pay at the Kiosk.
Gets my newspaper with the voucher as well.
Then onto Sainsburys.
Gets some bits from in.
Loads up car and goes home.
Coffee machine went on.
All the windows were opened.
Put the shopping away.
Coffee time.
Now to get the blog updated!
I got one blog post wrote by lunchtime.
Light lunch...
Younger son went off for a walk.
Our other son was feeling unwell, so he didn't go into work.
Wrote another two blogs post.
Younger son came back just in time for his Driving lesson.
I went out to see our friend who is teaching our son to drive.
I asked,"If he liked his cake?"
"It was lovely, and all gone."He replied.
"Are you already for Sunday?
(Bake Off Competition)
Are you putting a cake in?" I asked.
(As he said he was putting a cake into it)
"I'm judging it!"He responded to me.
I said,"If there is two cakes going in for it, I will still finish second!"
"Better go, I have things to do,"I said, walking back in to the house.
One final blog post to write!
Hubby came home and had a sloppy wet one 😘
We had the Lidl vegetable pizza for tea.
Hubby handed over the missing Nectar card.
I had a look into today's newspaper.
UK No.1 on this day in 1975:
The Stylistics - Can't Give You Anything (But My Love)
UK No.1 on this day in 2008:
Katy Perry - I Kissed a Girl
Then it started to rain, thunder and lightning started!
At least the plants are having a good water!
I asked hubby to find out what time the Wedding Evening Party we are invited to starts and do they have wedding present list?
Speaking of weddings....
It's my younger brother's 8th Wedding Anniversary today.
I remember the wedding well....
(For the wrong reasons!)
I found out it was my friend's son Birthday tomorrow.
As I am out and about tomorrow, I will drop it in.
Made sure I have everything for the cake I am entering.
The last thing I need is coming on Thursday.
Speaking of Thursday, the baking of the cake starts, hope Kenny is up to it!
Sleep Tea Time.
I don't have to worry about it being a Hot Humid Hump Day tomorrow.

One of my sons still showing his ungrateful side when told about the spec for the laptop.
"The spec is good enough for you to do your homework on it!" Said my husband.
"I want to see if its up to my spec first!"He shouted back at both of us!
Great I thought....
(Hubby will sort it out after work, and he wont't be able to play any games on it at all!)
Unpacks the Approved Food order.
