It's Not Big Enough!

Normal is just a cycle on the washing machine -
 Whoopi Goldberg
Welcome to my Hump of the Week 🐪
No sunshine 😎
Heardle time:
Heardle 60s:
My son's answers:
Breakfast and Brew time.
Dressed.
Gives hubby a sloppy wet one 💋
Then it was time for a little ride in Sexy Beast.
Gets newspaper.
Drops off son at work.
Then off to Sainsburys...
Gets a nice 9th Birthday card.
Fills it in,
Drops it round.
Back home.
Coffee machine goes on.
Unloads and loads up dish washer.
Now for coffee!
Then I start to make a beef stew for tonight's tea.
Out comes the red casserole pot...
Once all made, it goes on a low temp in the oven for later.
Early lunch is needed.
Now to sort out all my things for the Bake Off comp on Sunday.
I measured the cake tin, then the cake board.
Oh dear, the cake board is too small for the cake to sit on!
The cake will overhang the cake board!!
We need a bigger cake board!
Quickly orders a bigger one.
(I hope they find my house to deliver it!)
After all of that fun,
I write yesterday's blog post!
Hubby come home and has a nice sloppy wet one 😘
Time to dish up the nice beef stew.
Served with sweet potato mash.
Yum.
Afterwards I looked into today's newspaper.
US No.1 on this day in 1974:
Paper Lace - The Night Chicago Died.
Now to get into a chilled mood,
While watching some bad car drivers....in
Sleep Tea Time.
I will start baking the cake to go into the Bake Off Comp tomorrow!
Wish me luck!

The gates to the hall wasn't open when I got there, so parked up in the neighbouring car park and got my newspaper.
I gets back to Sexy Beast, and the gates were open, so I drove in and parked up.
Big Stick is ready....
Turns on my lights.
Let's ready to roll....
Good job I brought a bottle of water with me.
As having a lot of drinks of water!
Plus lots of BOINGs given out!
The sun was beaming it's rays down on me.
It's warming up!
Finished in one piece.
Picks up my perscription from my Doctors.
Chats with Joe when I came out.
Now onto having coffee and chat.
The view from the car park.
Now for coffee, chat and nibble.
We had a good chat!
What nearly ruined it,
Oh dear body decides to flood...:(
I had to leave very quickly.
Back home.
Had to change 3 layers of clothing.
Just finished Hunt for Red October last week,
(Flooded badly)
Now come back on again this week,
(Flooding again)
Light lunch.
Slapped on Factor 50 sun cream.
Now for the last shift of the week.
Well warm for my Lollypop job↓
On goes the Summer coat.
Chats with a woman who was doing some gardening.
Turns on my lights.
Buys my ice lolly.
Picks up my big stick 🍭
Heads off to the park to suck on my ice ice lolly.
I only had one friend come.
We had a good rabbit....
Wished him a good weekend.
Now to sweat in the lumo coat.
Still had to put up with car drivers failing to stop.
Lots of BOINGs given out.
Started to flood again :(
Finished in one piece.
Back home.
Jumps into the shower.
Gets changed again.
Time for a brew.
Got writing a blog post.
Hubby comes back and has a sloppy wet one 💋
One son went off to do a monthly quiz, he was a member of the team that finished First last month.
He had to take the trophy back.
While we were having our tea.
We caught up with last night's
Question Time.
Then I looked at today's newspaper.
UK No.1 on this day in 1965:
The Hollies - I'm Alive
USA No.1 on this day in 1972:
Bill Withers - Lean On Me
USA No.1 on this day in 1989:
Fine Young Cannibals - Good Thing
As the temperature was going down outside.
Watered all the plants outside.
Son came back from quiz, his team finished second, with four members, and five points from the team who finished first.
Well done I said.
No shame in finishing second!
Proud mum time 😊
Filled all the bird feeders and filled up the bird bath.
Sleep Tea time...

Bringing New Flowers!

The trouble with having an open mind, of course, is that people will insist on coming along and trying to put things in it
 - Terry Pratchett
Welcome to my Sunday 🌷🌹
We had a bit of lie-in.
Still had hugs and kisses
With brew and breakfast.
I put on the thermal vest.
&
Rain mac.
Out for a ride in Sexy Beast.
Pump up the tyres.
Fill up with fuel.
Then back home we go.
The coffee machine goes on.
So does the washing machine...
Once two loads of washing was done.
On goes the tumble drier.
The meantime I made the red velvet cake for tomorrow.
The oven was turned down low,
While we went out in the rain again.
Checked hubby's tyre pressures.
Filled up with fuel.
Then nipped into the Co-op for some milk.
Roses anyone?
As normal the red light kept going off.
It doesn't like reduced food!
Then off to give my mum and dad's grave a tidy up and put new flowers on.
Then back home to unpack the shopping.
Got the cake out to cool down.
In the meanwhile, finished off the soup.
Then I wrote 2 blog posts.
We had Gammon for tea.
Once finishing my blog posts.
I had to finish the cake as well.
Finally got to look into today's newspaper.
