One Down, One To Stay......

I like restraint, if it doesn't go too far - Mae West
I woke up far too early for a Sunday.
I unloaded and loaded up the dishwasher.
Tidied up the kitchen.
Now for the first brew of the day↓
 I had my breakfast.
Sleeping Beauty rose from the warm pit.
While he had his breakfast,
I went to enjoy that warm bed for a bit.
Felt better when I got up.
Hubby had sold one of sewing machines.
(I have another one, to use, don't worry!)
 Hubby mowed the lawn.
Looks better now.
Out for some fresh air....
A lot of bad driving about...
I popped in to see my mum and dad↓

I popped into my local Tesco Express
It was that windy, the white builder's bag was blowing down the road....it got as far as the white car↓
Back home to enjoy a late lunch↓
It was nice to sit outside in the sunshine!
I had to get Kenny out to make my son's Birthday cake for tomorrow.
Once the cake was in the oven,
I had two blog posts to write...
As we have finished watching Hill Street Blues...
We caught up on 3 weeks of Top of the Pops from 1989.
Oh dear, some songs were fast forwarded....
Except a certain breaking song...
Which I knew word for word as I had their album,"A bit of what you fancy," played it to death in the early 1990s...
 Tea was served↓
Jive Bunny was knocked off the top...of the charts :(
They will be number one for a week in December....↓
I had  more songs to my Play List.
I got over 620 songs on it.
The boxset I ordered is due to come Wednesday or Thursday....
The Salted Caramel cake had cooled down.
Finishing adding the chocolate tomorrow.
Back on the tiny Wobbly Work Wheel tomorrow 🎡
&
Another Birthday to Celebrate!🎈

Trying To Escape?

Life without you was like a broken pencil.....pointless -
Lord Blackadder to Elizabeth 1, Blackadder 2
Welcome to my Sunday...
No lie-in today...
Off to see Father-in-law and pick up something nice for the Living Room....
Brew and Hug first↓
Breakfast,
Then gets dressed.
Off out for a little ride↓
 New maxi dress on↓
We went for a little ride...
First to pick up something nice for the Living Room↓
Then round to see Father-in-law.
Hubby stood two metres away from  his dad.
Half the time was under the umbrella as it decides it is going to rain again!
 I sit in the car.
As soon as hubby gets back to the car.
His Birthday request for Wednesday is read out on the radio, closely followed by our son's Birthday on Friday.
(Busy week for Birthdays!)
We give up going to see my Parents as the rain won't stop!
We get back for a coffee.
I look in the newspaper↓

  Light lunch time↓
A little bit of on-line shopping
Someone was selling 2 lamps from Dunelm for £45↑
(Pity I only wanted one)
A early tea at 3↓
Out to collect my Dunelm order

 Picked up my order.
Off to see my parents...in the light rain
 Rain coming↓
I hope my dad isn't trying to escape↓
 The lamp looks nice↓
We didn't have no Apple sauce for the pork dinner. We had plenty of mint sauce avaliable↓
I hope the rain keeps off tomorrow.
Washing needs to go out on the line,
&
Some serious gardening needs doing....
We catch up with the final series of "Hill Street Blues"
Back on that tiny Wobbly Work Wheel 🎡 tomorrow...

Now The Door Has To Come Off!

No lie in Sunday for us...
We were down at the household tip by 9am.
Then for the treat of the day...
Back home in the sunshine for more sorting out.....the sheds...
We had to take off the shed door,
as we couldn't get the shelving unit back in otherwise
The sun was going down when we finally finished!
Then to get things ready for tomorrow.
Back to Job 1 after two weeks holiday!
