Back To The Norm!

If you have to ask the price, you can't afford it - J.P Morgan
Welcome to my Sunday Love 💓
The bed was so comfortable!
Time for a much needed brew!
Washed and dressed.
Nice view from our bedroom window.
Now down for breakfast.
The Golfers were warming up↓
It was all you can eat Breakfast.
I declined a Full English Breakfast.
I had toast and Smoothie first.
Then some Museli with fruit.
Hubby had his full English.
Nice view out of the window.
 After we had finished,
There was a nice door on the way back to our room we noticed↓
Back to our room,
After 10 minutes, now to try out the nice shower and bathmat!
That was so nice!
Now for some coffee!
The diffuser in the window was empty!
We packed our bags.
Put all the rubbish in one bag to help the cleaners and left the recycling out as well.
Went to sign out and was handed the bill for the two drinks we had with our dinner last night.
Next time we are having water!
It took about 50 minutes to get home.
Unpacked our overnight bags.
Washing machine went on.
Dishwasher loaded up and put on.
We had cheese on crackers for lunch.
Then I had to write yesterday's blog post.
Hubby put the tea in the oven.
Finally got through writing yesterday's fun post.
Now for tea!
Yum!

Watch Out For That!

The English winter - ending in July, to recommence in August - Lord Byron
Welcome to the Friday Feeling 🎈
Nice hug to start Friday off with!
Brew with breakfast.
Thermal vest goes on.
I add a bread mix to the breadmaker before I leave.
Gives hubby a sloppy wet one.
Time for those big big sunglasses to come out.
Still had the winter hats and gloves on.
The three way traffic lights were working now.
I turned on my lights.
Now for the fun to start!
It was quiet for a Friday.
&
Cars were stopping!!!
Then the fun started...
First two Police Officers paid a visit to one of houses just up from me.
I crossed them over when they had finished.
One houseowner who I talk to, said to me:
"I am expecting a delivery from IKEA between 8.20 9.20."
I replied,"A white van, with two men eyeballing me has come down this road twice, the same van is just coming out of the near-by road."
He looked up and said,"Thanks!"
The van stopped out outside his house.
Three cars overtook the van.
The fourth car, which was a black BMW overtook the van.
She forgot there was a Pedestrian Refuge Island.
She had to swerve to avoid it at the last minute.
Good job I wasn't in the middle of the road at the time!
The van was soon gone, and the traffic started to build up again.
I finished in one piece!
I got the newspaper on the way home.
Puts on the coffee maker.
Empties the dishwasher and loads it back up.
My friend pops in for a coffee and chat.
She is going to see Paul Carrick in concert in Birmingham tonight.
Save getting the late train back home,
Book a hotel and come back in the morning.
I wished her a good luck for the night out tonight.
I started filling in the answers for each section of the crystal course I have been doing.
1 & 2 done.
3 not there.
Started on section 4 questions up to lunchtime.
Finished off that lovely hot soup...
The bread turned out lovely!
Plus my bulk order of sleep tea arrive too :)
I looked outside.
Rain.
Time for those sexy lumo trousers to come out again.
Put boots on, winter hats and waterproof gloves.
Turns on the lights.
Only had one friend to rabbit with as the other friend was getting the overtime in.
I wished him a good weekend.
Now to start in the rain.
Still a bit of traffic.
Parents wished me a happy weekend.
A few BOINGs were given out as some cars refused to stop .
At least I finished in one piece.
Home time.
I puts the fish and chips in the oven.
Tumble Drier goes on.
Now to get on with writing yesterday's blog post.
Hubby came home for a sloppy wet one.
Tea is done.
Too quick for a photo!
Finished off writing yesterday's blog post.
Then to look in today's newspaper.

Ha Ha It's Still Only Tuesday!

I have nothing to declare except my genius - Oscar Wilde
Welcome to March 🎕
Now onto the 50 year old Wobbly Work Wheel 🎡
Nice warm hug.
Followed by breakfast and brew.
Gets dressed.
(thermal vest goes on)
Now it's time to leave!
I gives hubby a wet one before I leave.
As the sun is out and it's nice and bright.
Outcomes the big big sunglasses.
As well as the two winter hats and gloves.
I put my lights on.
Now for the fun to start!
Bad to the normal again.
Limbo drivers back in force!
One Land Rover on the otherside.
Was too busy looking down at his phone and smoking his cigerette to notice I was walking in the middle of the road.
One ex-friend has gone from grey to blonde when she drove past....
(that has took 20 years off her now!)
Finished in one piece.
I got chatting with a parent who shared my Birthday yesterday, her sister was born on a Leap Year day.
I got the newspaper on the way home.
The coffee machine was put on.
I did some housework...
Now for some strong coffee!
I got yesterday's blog post wrote.
I had a knock at the door.
Someone holding a car bumper shape parcel.
The delivery man thought it was for my neighbour, until I looked at the name.
It was for the factory next door!
Then off he went with it.
Another Birthday card arrived from a good friend :)
Now for some nice liquid lunch!
It was forecasting rain in the afternoon.
So on went the sexy lumo trousers again.
Now for round 2 in the rain!
On went the boots, 2 hats, and waterproof gloves.
I turned on my lights.
Then off to talk to my friends in the rain!
We had a good laugh until I had started round 2.
It might be raining, but the car drivers are not stopping!
Few BOINGs were given out to the Limbo drivers!
I hate it when it rains, as with my hood up, I can't hear anyone creeping up behind me!
Finished in one piece.
Hometime.
I got chatting with one of my ex-customers who I used to deliver her mail.
We had a good yak and laugh for about 40 minutes!
I am glad they didn't lock the gates!
Now for a much needed brew!
My Birthday £5 voucher at Hobbycraft, needed spending.
Got some nice Gel pens, for when I write to my Prison Pen Pals.
As it is Pancake Day, I had something different.
Hubby came home and he was rewarded with a sloppy wet one.
Hubby and kids had two big pancakes each.
I had a Meat Free Stir Fry instead.
Now for a quick look into today's newspaper.
