Welcome to the Friday Feeling 🎈
Warm Hug Time \o/
Breakfast with brew.
Thermal vest goes on.
Furry leggings also goes on!
+
Lots of layers.
Time to go outside...
Uncovers Sexy Beast.
Gives hubby a sloppy wet 💋 before I leave.
2 winter hats and big big gloves.
I puts on my lights.
Now for the fun to start...🍭
The cars over the otherside of the road, seem to have a problem with seeing me, even though I have a big lumo coat and a big stick which says "Stop"!
Few BOINGs given out as well!
Finished in one piece!
I got changed and nipped into the local Bakery got some big cakes to take with me to a Coffee and Yak visit.
It was sad news about Meatloaf :(
Nipped home.
Back out to get the newspaper on the way.
I sang along with a Meatloaf song on the way:
Does a lot of yak, and coffee when I got to my friends.
She said, "It would take two servings to eat the big Eccles cake."
"I ate mine in one serving," and gave her my empty plate :)
(Come March 1st, Lent starts, no cake or chocolate for nearly 6 weeks!)
Good job my 50th Birthday is in the week before!
I enjoyed the chat, cake and coffee!
I wished her a good weekend when I left.
Some bad driving from other car drivers on the way home. I kept my distance!
It is still freezing cold...
Time for more coffee and some hot soup!
It's cloudy, so no need for my big big sunglasses.
Now out for the final one of the week.
I still put on my 2 winter hats and winter gloves.
I turned on my lights.
My two friends turned up and we had our normal rabbit!
My friend got confused and said:
"See you tomorrow!"
"No, you have two days off from me!
See you on Monday, have a good weekend!"
I replied.
Once I started my final shift, then the fun started.
Lots of last minute braking, and no stopping from the traffic on the otherside.
It doesn't help when they stop in the Keep Clear space either!
Finished in one piece!
Hometime.
Back home.
I covered up Sexy Beast.
Cup of Brew time.
The fish and fish fingers went on in the oven.
Son brought down his Air Fryer down to put the chips in.
Hubby came home and had a sloppy wet 😘
Time to dish up the tea.
We watched a bit of "Sounds of the 70s"
Hubby went food shopping with younger son.
I looked into today's newspaper.
Comedy legend, Benny Hill, was born in Southampton. His song Ernie (The Fastest Milkman in the West), was the 1971 Christmas UK No 1. His once hugely popular TV comedy show is no longer repeated in the UK, as it’s now viewed as politically incorrect.
He would have been 98 years old 🎈
He sadly died aged 68 in 1992.
John  Ryan , best known by his stage name, Jack Lord, was an American television, film and Broadway actor, director and producer. He starred as Steve McGarrett in the CBS television program Hawaii Five-O, which ran from 1968 to 1980.
He died on this day in 1998 aged 77.
Norma  Egstrom , known professionally as Peggy Lee, was an American jazz and popular music singer, songwriter, composer, and actress, over a career spanning seven decades. From her beginning as a vocalist on local radio to singing with Benny Goodman's big band, Lee created a sophisticated persona, writing music for films, acting, and recording conceptual record albums combining poetry and music.
Lee recorded over 1,100 masters and composed over 270 songs.
She sadly died aged 81 in 2002.
UK No.1 on this day in 1966:
The Spencer Davis Group - Keep on Running
The soundtrack to the movie 'The Graduate' was released on this day in 1968.
On this date in 1983 Eurythmics released their hit single "Sweet Dreams (Are Made of This)"
Uk.1 in the UK in 1986:
A-ha - "The Sun Always Shines On TV"
"Two Hearts" by Phil Collins was the #1 song on the Billboard charts today in 1989. It was the first of two straight weeks on top.
They came back with all of the shopping.
I helped put the shopping away.
We watched the programme on Meatloaf.
Meatloaf: In & Out Hell.
Since the release of the Bat Out of Hell album, Meat Loaf has possessed the kind of international status that few artists obtain. His larger-than-life persona and performances are fuelled by a passion for theatre and storytelling. This candid profile reveals the man and his music through his own testimony and from the accounts of those closest to him.
Time for Sleep Tea.
Making the most of the Friday Feeling 🎈in bed.

Making Full Use Of Kenny!

There are many who dare not kill themselves for fear of what the neighbours will say - Cyril Connolly
Welcome to my Thursday 👾
Brew with a hug.
Breakfast.
I got dressed, as hubby is still not well.
I got the kids up to do their on-line learning.
I went and got the newspaper early.
Got newspaper.
Back home.
Nice coffee to warm up with.
Hubby phones up his Doctors about his High Temperature.
They advise him to have a Covid Test.
While he is booking his test online to go to the near-by walk in centre.
His boss had left a "nice" message on his phone, on why he hasn't come into work, and not to think about working from home and get into the office now!
I phoned up my doctors about my 6 week cough I have got.
The Doctor phoned me back and advised me to have Covid Test.
I went on-line to book a test at the nearby walk in centre.
Now out of the house.
Now to go for Test...
We did the tests.
Hopefully hear the result tomorrow
Once we get back home,
Hubby goes back to bed as he is feeling not very well.
Time to get Kenny out!
To use up some bananas.
Once the banana bread is made,
It's put in the oven.
I got yesterday's blog post wrote.
I had a nice easy lunch.
Time to guess the year...
The Banana bread was ready!
My disco lights arrived \o/.
Tea at 3 with them on.
Quick look in the newspaper:
