Can't Find It Again!

Life is a cement trampoline - Harold Nordberg
Welcome to my Hump of the Week 🐫
Nice hug with brew.
Breakfast.
Opens the curtains....
The sun is out again \o/
Dressed.
Gives hubby a sloppy wet 💋before I leave.
On goes those big big sunglasses...

On goes the summer coat
(With jacket underneath)
Puts on my lights.
Now for the fun to start 🍭
A 21 reg blue skoda went speeding past me down the road, the car in front of it, suddenly braked, the skoda braked that fast, the whole car shuddered!
A woman driver went under my stick and looked up to see how high it was!
I actually got to stop the speedy while Tesla that has been failing to stop for weeks!
I was glad to finish in one piece!
I gets my newspaper and my neighbour's magazine on the way home.
Coffee machine went on.
I phoned the council to see if I got permission to get my loft insulated and boarded.
I was second in the queue, 36 minutes wait time.
I moved up to first, then it changed to 16 minutes.
Finally got answered.
They hadn't received the form I put into the Town Hall last Monday.
I was well pissed off!
Get another form and send it in via email they said!
I phoned hubby to tell him the bad news!
I went to answer the door, and my son's mobile phone cable was in the way of my foot, I just about saved myself!
Got more stuff for my son's cake he is making for Friday at school.
Second coffee of the morning so far!
A yellow lorry is parked over the drive!
I ask the lorry driver, "Why he can't park over the otherside of the road...?"
"Because of the straps!"
I goes and gives my neighbour his magazine.
Has a chat for 20 minutes.
A member of the Housing department drops off another form for me to fill in.
Then I  write yesterday's blog up to the dinnertime.
I was expecting another parcel from DPD to be delivered here.
(My son was here, if they attempted to deliver it here)
Off out to part two.
While going out of the road, a DPD van turns in.
(I might be lucky this time and get it delivered!)
By the time I get down to my job, the parcel is going back to the depot!
GREAT
I put on the summer coat.
Then go and get a ice lolly.
After paying for the it, I turned round, and not seeing the pushchair behind me, nearly fell over it!
Another trip I avoided!
Puts on my lights on.
Now to enjoy some vitamin D with ice lolly.
I chatted with my friend until it was time for me to start for the afternoon fun 🍭
I put my stick out and lowered it.
One Audi was speeding up the street, and had to slam on his brakes...
After that most were stopping on my side, different story on the other side of the road!
At least I finished in one piece!
Back home for a much needed coffee!
Kettle put on.
Waters the plants in the garden.
Fills out form ready to send a copy of it via email tomorrow.
The tea goes in the oven....
Nice big hug off hubby when he comes home.
Dished up the tea.
Yum.
Quick look in today's newspaper...
Chas Hodges  was an English musician and singer who was the lead vocalist of the musical duo Chas & Dave.
He died on this day in 2018 aged 74.
Now to go and get a magic bag...
Morrison's Magic Bag.
Nice full moon.
Now out to get another Magic Bag.
Now for a bit of Sleep Tea...
Let's hope I have a better day tomorrow

Look No Hands!

If anything can go wrong, it will - Murphy's Law
 Welcome to my Tuesday 😱
Nice warm hug with brew.
Breakfast.
Dressed.
It's going to be nice day for sunshine!
I give hubby a sloppy wet 😘 before I leave.
The big big sunglasses had to come out.
On goes the summer coat
(With a jacket underneath)
Now for the fun to start...🎈
It goes alright until....
I'm standing on the pavement, when a car is coming towards me, and the car starts to veer towards me.....
The woman car driver was messing with her hair, and no hands are on the steering wheel!
She then suddenly veered the car back....
I just shook my head.
Most cars try to get me in the road,
Not on the pavement!
The white Telsa didn't stop again.
Nearly had a few near taps and cracks this morning!
I'm glad I finished in one piece.
I picked up the newspaper on the way home.
I puts on the coffee machine.
Now for that important coffee..
I start writing Sunday's blog post,
When DPD's customer service department phones me about the misdelivered parcel.
"I will get the driver to get it and redeliver it."
Was what they said......
We shall see....
My friend pops in for chat with coffee.
I said goodbye to my friend later on.
(I will see my friend later on in the week for more chat and coffee....)
Lunchtime.
Then it's time for afternoon shift.
As I get into Sexy Beast, I notice a DPD van goes past. I rush to end of my drive, and it's vanished into one of factory units.
Gets back into Sexy Beast.
I changes to another CD to listen to.
The Summer coat gets put on.
Puts my lights on.
Chats with the woman who has given me some plants and vice versa.
My friend came with dog.
I gives my friend some bread pudding
(My neighbour gets my younger son some on a Monday, and he got too much for just himself to eat,so I gave my friend some)
We sits and has a chat in the sunshine.
Once it was time for me to start.
I said goodbye to my friend.
Now for the fun to start 🍭
Some cars had to stop as I was in there way.
Some cars seem it quite funny not having to stop.
A few near tap and cracks again.
At least I finished in one piece!
Now back home.
No parcel from DPD was there waiting for me.
I just about have had enough of this!
I asked the Seller for a refund.
The email I got was:
"DPD works late in the evening, you might get your parcel!"
Fine I can wait until 9pm!
I get on with making a Beef Casserole.
Out come the cast iron Casserole Dish.
Once I put that in the oven.
I watered all the plants.
Then to carry on writing yesterday's blog post.
Hubby came home for a sloppy wet 💋.
Dished up the food.
(Ate it too quick for a picture, the dumplings were nice!)
Quick look into today's newspaper.
Michael Lonsdale-Crouch, commonly known as Michael Lonsdale and sometimes named as Michel Lonsdale, was a French actor who appeared in over 180 films and television shows. He died on this day in 2020 aged 89
Another nice full moon...
We watched the new series of "Bake Off".
While watching it, I had my book to finish.
As normal, no DPD redelivering of my parcel.
Got in touch with Seller.
"Give me a refund please!"
Sleep tea time.
Finding out if I got permission to board the loft, and expecting another parcel to be delivered by DPD tomorrow
What could go wrong?????🐫
