Say It With Balloons!

Never judge a book by its movie - J.W Eagan
Welcome to my weekend 👅
I had my 8 hours sleep,
I got up and left Sleeping Beauty to snore.
Cup of tea.
Then to write yesterday's blog post.
While listening to Sounds of the 60s on Radio 2.

Just published blog when Sleeping Beauty came downstairs.
More brew with breakfast.
Got the kids up.
Dressed.
Now out of the house.
Drops off son at work.
Now round to wish my mum a Happy Birthday 🎈
Now off to do some food shopping.
Lots of sewing threads in....
We got a wonky box :)
Back home to unload the shopping.
Coffee machine gets up on.
Once the shopping has been put away.
Coffee time!
&
To look at the lovely sewing things I bought.
Caught up with the One Hit Wonders from the 1970's we recorded from this week.
Son wanted a lift, so off I went to pick him up.
Nearly had my car took out on the Asda roundabout.
Son had left work and was walking home, I found out this when I got to his workplace.
Great!
At least I had my good CD with some big songs to listen to on the way home.
I had to reheat up my coffee!
Now for lunch!
Now to open the box...
Lots of blue language to try and thread the machine....
I had a quick play on.
Tried out the letters and numbers.
I am sewing another layer of material onto the Living Room curtains tomorrow.
Tea time.
We watched two episodes of Hell's Kitchen.
Then we went out to collect 2 Magic Bags.
One red van was in the wrong lane on the Sainsburys Island and nearly took out my hubby's car!
Nice moon tonight.
Back home to unpack the magic bags.
Now to catch up with last night's
Have I Got New For You.
I looked into today's newspaper.
William Scott "Jack" Elam  was an American film and television actor best known for his numerous roles as villains in Western films, and later in his career, comedies (sometimes spoofing his villainous image). His most distinguishing physical quality was his misaligned eye. Before his career in acting, he took several jobs in finance and served two years in the United States Navy during World War II.
Elam performed in 73 movies and in at least 41 television series. Some of his more memorable roles are in Once Upon a Time in the West, High Noon, Support Your Local Sheriff!, and on the series The Twilight Zone and Gunsmoke.
He would have been 101 years old 🎈
"GoldenEye", 17th James Bond film, starring Pierce Brosnan for the first time and Judi Dench as M, released in 1995.
Sleep Tea Time.
Now off to a very warm bed!

She Has A Pair Of Those Too!

You should try everything once except incest and folk dancing - Arnold Bax
Welcome to my busy busy Tuesday.
I was up far too early...
As I start my new lollipop job today 🍭
But first it's a cup of tea and cuddle time↓
Breakfast, dressed, I gave everyone sloppy 💋💋💋 BEFORE I left the house.

The traffic is terrible to get to my lollipop job.
(I will have to leave a bit earlier tomorrow)
Uniform on, with lollipop stick.
 I turn the lights on,
I begin my first morning...
One mini-van had a choice.
Either stop or have his windscreen smashed by my stick.
He chose to stop.
Once finished, I went home.
 Liquid refreshment with vitamin C.
Quick dash of housework.
Light lunch...
Back out for a little ride...
 The rain's back!
 Not very warm either!
It's a good job I had some good music to sing along with, as the journey to work was terrible!
Quick look in the newspaper↓
Elke Sommer [Elke Schletz], German actress is 79 years old 🎈
Art Garfunkel, American singer and actor is 78 years old 🎈
Pablo Gomez, Spanish musician, drummer (Los Bravos) is 76 years old 🎈
Peter Noone, English rocker (Herman's Hermits) is 72 years old 🎈
Bryan Adams is 60 years old 🎈
It was still raining when I left Sexy Beast.

One of the teachers commented on what kids say...
I told her the story, when one of my sons was about six years old and on a Police Open Day at our local Police Station. He pointed to a pair of handcuffs on a Policeman and said:
"My mum has a pair of those too!"
I smiled and the Policeman smiled back!
I had a lovely red face when I got back to my car.
More good music to sing along to..
Back home for a nibble with coffee↓
Now for round 2 of Lollipop 🍭

I had a better one than this morning.
Everyone stopped!
I gets back home.
Changed.
Now off to the Happy Place of Work.
I even done a bit of singing while I did my job.......;D
Back home in the dark to put the tea on....
Then off to work to do yet more singing...
 &
 With Chris Andrews..
I got back to finally finish the book I have been reading since Friday.
Finished it.
Now for cuddles.....
