Not Enjoying The Friday Feeling For One!....

Love your neighbour, but don't pull down your hedge -
 Benjamin Franklin.
Welcome to the Friday Feeling 🎈
Terrible night, of coughing and sneezing...
And not getting more sleep either!
Missing that  Sexy Big Hulky Hubby in the bed!
Once I had my breakfast with brew.
Hubby went to work, he posted the 4 PCRs test in the nearby post box.
I went back to sleep.
(I feel awful)
I woke up more later...
In need of coffee and toast...
Then I got up and got dressed.
(Thermal vest included in that!)
Loaded up dishwasher.
I wrote yesterday's blog post up to lunchtime.
Some nice soup to warm me up.
On goes Netflix.
With a cup of tea.
I finished writing to Prison Pen Pal in Boise in the USA.
I put the tea in the oven and started to write to my Prison Pen Pal in Minnesota.
Hubby came back from work.
No sloppy wet one or hug at the moment :(
Pie with chips for tea.
Once the shopping list was wrote out.
He went out to get the shopping.
I finished writing my letter.
Now to look into today's newpaper.
Charley  Pride was an American singer, guitarist, and professional baseball player. His greatest musical success came in the early to mid-1970s, when he was the best-selling performer for RCA Records since Elvis Presley. During the peak years of his recording career (1966–1987), he had 52 top-10 hits on the Billboard Hot Country Songs chart, 30 of which made it to number one. He won the Entertainer of the Year award at the Country Music Association Awards in 1971.
Pride is one of three African-American members of the Grand Ole Opry (the others being DeFord Bailey and Darius Rucker). He was inducted into the Country Music Hall of Fame in 2000.
He would have been 88 years old 🎈
He sadly died aged 86 in 2020.
Terence "Jet" Harris MBE  was an English musician. He was the bass guitarist of the Shadows from 1958 until April 1962, and had subsequent success as a soloist and as a duo with the drummer Tony Meehan.

Goode" (1958). Writing lyrics that focused on teen life and consumerism, and developing a music style that included guitar solos and showmanship, Berry was a major influence on subsequent rock music.
He died on this day in 2017 aged 90.

Watch Out For That!

The English winter - ending in July, to recommence in August - Lord Byron
Welcome to the Friday Feeling 🎈
Nice hug to start Friday off with!
Brew with breakfast.
Thermal vest goes on.
I add a bread mix to the breadmaker before I leave.
Gives hubby a sloppy wet one.
Time for those big big sunglasses to come out.
Still had the winter hats and gloves on.
The three way traffic lights were working now.
I turned on my lights.
Now for the fun to start!
It was quiet for a Friday.
&
Cars were stopping!!!
Then the fun started...
First two Police Officers paid a visit to one of houses just up from me.
I crossed them over when they had finished.
One houseowner who I talk to, said to me:
"I am expecting a delivery from IKEA between 8.20 9.20."
I replied,"A white van, with two men eyeballing me has come down this road twice, the same van is just coming out of the near-by road."
He looked up and said,"Thanks!"
The van stopped out outside his house.
Three cars overtook the van.
The fourth car, which was a black BMW overtook the van.
She forgot there was a Pedestrian Refuge Island.
She had to swerve to avoid it at the last minute.
Good job I wasn't in the middle of the road at the time!
The van was soon gone, and the traffic started to build up again.
I finished in one piece!
I got the newspaper on the way home.
Puts on the coffee maker.
Empties the dishwasher and loads it back up.
My friend pops in for a coffee and chat.
She is going to see Paul Carrick in concert in Birmingham tonight.
Save getting the late train back home,
Book a hotel and come back in the morning.
I wished her a good luck for the night out tonight.
I started filling in the answers for each section of the crystal course I have been doing.
1 & 2 done.
3 not there.
Started on section 4 questions up to lunchtime.
Finished off that lovely hot soup...
The bread turned out lovely!
Plus my bulk order of sleep tea arrive too :)
I looked outside.
Rain.
Time for those sexy lumo trousers to come out again.
Put boots on, winter hats and waterproof gloves.
Turns on the lights.
Only had one friend to rabbit with as the other friend was getting the overtime in.
I wished him a good weekend.
Now to start in the rain.
Still a bit of traffic.
Parents wished me a happy weekend.
A few BOINGs were given out as some cars refused to stop .
At least I finished in one piece.
Home time.
I puts the fish and chips in the oven.
Tumble Drier goes on.
Now to get on with writing yesterday's blog post.
Hubby came home for a sloppy wet one.
Tea is done.
Too quick for a photo!
Finished off writing yesterday's blog post.
Then to look in today's newspaper.

Sooner Rather Than Later!

The trouble with our times is that the future is not what it used to be - Paul Valery
The Friday Feeling is back 🍿
I hope for lots of fun....
(I can only hope!)
Brew and Hug.
Breakfast.
Dressed.
Now out.
Gave everyone their sloppy wet πŸ’‹πŸ’‹πŸ’‹
Moon still out↓
Nice sunrise shot before I start.
I had the normal fun with car drivers ignoring my Stop sign.
I finished in one piece.
Off to fill up Sexy Beast as it was surviving on petrol vapors...
Picked up a strong coffee on the way back.
After a bit of quick housework.
Now to enjoy the coffee!
Now to carry on with some singing in Sexy Beast.

I had quick read of the newspaper.

I looked across the fields of fun..
I had more fun,fun,fun.
Now to get back into Sexy Beast.
Someone tried to take me out on the road that narrows.......
Glad to get back home in one piece!
Yum, yum, light lunch time.
Then back out again.
Summer coat back on.
It was getting to the point, that a windscreen was going to be taken out.As car drivers were going under my stick, and near enough to my stick....Be warned....it will happen sooner rather than later!
My friend popped by after I finished for a little catch up on Cd buying and films.
I didn't realise the time as I have a other friend waiting for me at my house for coffee and chat!
Gets back...
Yak, coffee, and chat....
I felt better after that.
Thanked her for coming round.
Hubby appeared soon after.
Pizza time!
Now to burn it off by singing!
Final big tune of the week...
Gets back home.
We watched some more NYPD Blue season 11.
All ready to welcome the weekend!
