No Dance Monday!

Life is a foreign language; all men mispronounce it.

Bernard Stanley Bilk, MBE , known professionally as Acker Bilk, was a British clarinetist and vocalist known for his breathy, vibrato-rich, lower-register style, and distinctive appearance – of goatee, bowler hat and striped waistcoat.
Bilk's 1962 instrumental tune "Stranger on the Shore" became the UK's biggest selling single of 1962: it was in the UK charts for more than 50 weeks, peaking at number two, and was the second No. 1 single in the United States by a British artist in the era of the modern Billboard Hot 100 pop chart. He died on this day in 2014  aged 85.
  I wrote yesterday's blog post.
Then I had to make a patch for my son's trousers.
Afterwards I had put sewn it on,
I might put a pocket over it instead.
I will see how son feels about it when he comes back later.
I had some infacing arrive in the post,
with some more material to play with.
 A late lunch.
I sorted out all my craft themed books out.

I haven't looked into the cupboard containing a lot of cook books....
(I will save that for another day)
I watched Boris in Parliament while having my
Tea at 3.
Our children came home.
Told me all about their school day \o/
30% off meals at McDonalds.
That's tea sorted out for tonight.
£7 off the bill.
Hubby went with one son to fetch it.
We carried on watching the semi-final of season 3 of Hell's Kitchen.
The final was in two parts.
Rock was the winner.
Sleep tea time.
Just when I think my knee is getting better.
More bruises appear and my foot starts to swell up!
Roll on Tuesday!
