Roll Away The Covers

Another Bank Holiday Monday🍾🍾
We had a big big lie-in....
Inbetween the sleeps we had tea
 It was coming up to 11am...
I really needed to get up!
I went outside to have some nice fresh air..
  Hubby went off to get the newspaper,
I went to work....with some good tunes↓
I came back to water the plants in my garden.
I have ordered two more plastic greenhouses.
Just have to make room in the back garden for them!
The washing machine and tumble drier was on overtime.
Showers for everyone.

Susan Brown : an English actress of stage and screen. She is best known for her role as Septa Mordane in HBO series Game of Thrones. 
She is 73 years old.
George  Clooney : is an American actor, filmmaker and businessman. He is the recipient of three Golden Globe Awards and two Academy Awards, one for acting in Syriana (2006) and the other for co-producing Argo (2012). In 2018, he was the recipient of the AFI Lifetime Achievement Award, at the age of 57.
He is 58 years old.
Wilfrid Hyde-White : was an English character actor of stage, film and television, who achieved international recognition in his later years for his role as Colonel Pickering in the 1964 film version of the musical My Fair Lady.
He died aged 87 in 1991 
The Rolling Stones release "Paint It Black" in the US in 1966. 
Michael Jackson & Bee Gees inducted into Rock & Roll Hall of Fame in 1997.

Time To Binge.....

I didn't need the alarm to get up to listen to the Sounds of the 60's.
I found out why Billy Fury's hits dried up.
He changed record labels!
 Fell asleep again...
Then it's bacon sandwiches in bed!
My book has finally arrived!↓↓
 Then we got everyone else up.
Fresh air time!
 Someone was glad to see me↑↑
 Got some great bargains ↑↑
 My living room chairs are looking nice!
 Coffee time↑↓
 Before I started baking,
I had a look at today's Birthdays.
Shirley Eaton:  is an English actress, model and author is 82 years old.
  Long John Baldry: English blues vocalist (Don't try to Lay No Boogie),would have been 78 years old.
(He died aged 64 in 2005)
 Dame Agatha Christle: British crime writer ("10 Little Indians"), dies at 85 in 1976.
Maurice Gibb: Guitarist of the Bee Gees, dies at 53 in 2003.
"The Joker" by Steve Miller Band peaks at #1 in the US Billboard Hot 100 in 1974.
 I did some baking while singing along:

Rich Chocolate Torte with Rose Petals.
Now to make Onion,Mushroom,Garlic, Lentils, Risotto↓
(Making sure the Risotto has enough water,
Don't need it going dry!)

We found Hells Kitchen Season 17.
 *Binge Watch Time!*
We got to episode 8 before I was dragged off to bed at 1.30am...

Trying To Pull!

Welcome to the start of the weekend.
I still woke up early to listen to the "Sounds of the 60's". 
 We had breakfast after it finished.
We had to leave the house early to carry on with some shopping in town↓
 
 I got a new watch battery from the market.
Then off to Poundland.
I got some nice DVDS from HMV↓
 While hubby did my dad's shopping,
I messed about with some tools...
 
 

Now to try and put the wool through the holes...
Even with the new watch battery,
The watch isn't working properly.
 I looked at the newspaper for Birthdays:
 Maurice Gibb and Robin Gibb: Singers (Bee Gees).
 (Maurice  died aged 53 in 2003)
(Robin died aged  aged 62 in 2012) 
 Richard "Ricky" Ross: Scottish rock vocalist (Deacon Blue) is 61 years old.

Joe Strummer: British lead singer of the punk band "The Clash" (Rock the Casbah), dies at the age 50 in 2002
 "The Graduate": American comedy-drama film directed by Mike Nichols, starring Dustin Hoffman and Anne Bancroft, is released (Best Director 1968) in 1967.
