Tears In My Eyes....

I was high on life, but eventually I built up a tolerance - Arj Barker
Welcome to my Hump of the Week 🐪
Nice warm hug.
Then it was breakfast and brew time.
Thermal vest goes on.
I am hoping the rain keeps off this morning.
Now out in the fresh air...
I gives hubby a sloppy wet one before I left.
I just put my boots on in case it decided to rain.
I put on my lights.
Now let's have some fun 🍭
I think my coat is not bright enough,
As still the limbo drivers fail to see me or my big stick!
I gave out a few BOINGs for good measure.
One car had to brake hard on the otherside of the road!
The traffic was building up when I was nearly finished.
At least I finished in one piece.
I went round the long way to pick up the newspaper and my neighbour's magazine.
The rain started on and off all morning.
Coffee machine went on.
Unloaded the dishwasher.
The soup maker went on.
Now for some nice strong coffee.
How the time flies when I do some more housework!
A nice new batch of soup to enjoy!
It was raining before I left.
On goes those sexy lumo trousers.
Now for round 2.
I just got the last but one car parking space.
While I getting my boots on, a woman walked past me, gave me hard look and looked at her watch.
I was going tell her time if she wanted to know.
Boots, 2 winter hats and waterproof gloves on now.
Turns on my lights.
I haven't see my friend with his dog to talk to this week.
(Only to wave to in the morning)
Speaking of friends.
My two turned up, one had bought herself some daffodils from the near-by flower shop.
Then the other friend farted and walked off.
My other friend and me were in fits of laughter following the round of fart jokes we were talking about!
With tears in my eyes from laughing too much.
I said goodbye to my friends.
Now for the fun to start again.
At least some of the car drivers stopped.
Had still a few limbo drivers.
BOING!!!!
I had to keep puttng my hood down as I was getting well warm, even though it was raining.
Finished in one piece.
Home Time.
Now to get on with tonight's tea.
Pan fried the pork chops,
then added stuffing on the top.
In the oven that went.
Vegetables went in the saucepan.
Roast potatoes, and roast parsnips went in the oven as well.
Put the oven on.
I used up the £5 Discount code, Hobbycraft sent out a few weeks ago.
More pens and a bit more craft stuff is now on order.
Hopefully my new breadmaker will be delivered tomorrow.
Amazon must be pissed off, as they keep sending me emails about a new breadmaker...
Going to book tickets for another trip to the NEC Craft event later on this month.
Not going VIP this time.....
Hubby came home and had a nice wet sloppy one 💋.
Dished up the tea.
I ate it too quick for a photo to be taken....
Now to look into today's newspaper.

Lots of Crashing Going On!

The best liar is he who makes the smallest amount of lying go the longest way
- Samuel Butler
Welcome to my Tuesday 👻
Brew with hug.
Breakfast.
I woke the kids up for their on-line learning for school.
Hubby got dressed and he was working from home.
Hubby went to get the newspaper.
I had a really bad headache.
(Paint fumes from yesterday)
Back to sleep for me.
Hubby bought up a much needed coffee for me later..
Time to get up.
Dressed.
I went outside for some fresh air.
Half way writing yesterday's blog post when computer kept crashing...
No blogging for the time beginning!
I had to buy another portable external hard drive as I filled my other one.
Then I had to make a decision to either a second hand or a new desktop computer.
Second hand computer didn't have enough Ram on them and most were overpriced.
I found a reasonable price new one and can be paid over 6 months that I can afford.
So in the meantime I hope I can get all my stuff off the old one before it dies on me completely.
Lunchtime.
I had a look inside the newspaper.

Karen  Carpenter was an American singer and drummer who, along with her elder brother Richard, was part of the duo the Carpenters. She was praised for her three-octave contralto vocal range and drumming abilities. Her struggles with eating disorders would later raise awareness of anorexia and body dysmorphia.
She would have been 71 years old 🎈
She died aged 32 in 1983
Mary  O'Brien OBE , professionally known as Dusty Springfield, was a British pop singer and record producer whose career extended from the late 1950s to the 1990s. With her distinctive mezzo-soprano sound, she was an important singer of blue-eyed soul and at her peak was one of the most successful British female performers, with six top 20 singles on the US Billboard Hot 100 and sixteen on the UK Singles Chart from 1963 to 1989. She is a member of the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame and UK Music Hall of Fame. International polls have named Springfield among the best female rock artists of all time. Her image, supported by a peroxide blonde bouffant hairstyle, evening gowns, and heavy make-up, as well as her flamboyant performances, made her an icon of the Swinging Sixties.
She died on this day in 1999 aged 59.
