Surviving Monday....Just!

The problem with beauty is that it's like being born rich and getting poorer - Dame Joan Collins
Welcome aboard my Wobbly Work Wheel🎑
I slept a lot better than Saturday night.
I sorted out my lollypop coat..↓
Now for the coffee and hug↓
I gives everyone sloppy πŸ’‹πŸ’‹πŸ’‹
It's damp and dark↑↓
I had to wear my waterproof trousers..↓
The lorry parked up by my spot.
It did go after 5 minutes
It started to rain, 10 minutes after I started.
It didn't seem a lot busy for traffic to day for a change.
When I got back home,
A lorry was parked over my drive.
I stopped my car, and turned off the engine and waited for the lorry to reverse down the road a bit.
I finally got back on my drive!

I got changed out of my waterproof trousers.
Time for the blue skirt!
Light  lunch↓
Oh dear the rain is back↓
Plenty of singing in the rain...
Quick look in the newspaper↓
Bev Bevan, drummer (ELO & The Move) is 75 years old 🎈
Looks over the fields of fun↓

It was raining during the dinner time.
I left with a red face, even redder than my t-shirt..
When I got back,
I helped my neighbour with his shopping.
I enjoyed a quick coffee and nibble↓

Then off again with my Lollipop 🍭
I chatted with parents, and people walking their dogs.
Five minutes before the end of my shift.
The rain came in...
I was glad to finish..
As it was starting to get dark.
I came back,
Got changed.
Off to The Happy Place Of Work.
I did my bit.
Back to make some turkey stir fry↓
Now to burn that off with yet more singing at job!
I gets back home.
Celebrating surviving Monday with a large mug of Sleep Tea.....
Roll on Tuesday!

Adding Another Sucker To The ...

“It’s Friday and I’m thirsty.”
Let's all welcome back the Friday Feeling 🍾
I had to put on *new* Superhero t-shirt.
The dish washer was loaded up.
Gave the Living Room a dusting...
The rain wasn't stopping either!
Time for some Liquid Lunch↓
I ran to the Sexy Beast,
As
It was raining still

I done a lot of singing in the rain.
Quick look at the newspaper↓
There is rain in them hills↓
 The rain kept off!
No wet play!
\o/
Everybody loved the new t-shirt I was wearing..
Back to the singing on the way home↓
 The rain starts again↓
My Prime item arrives a day late.
I go off to do my other job.
Nice bit of nibble when I came back↓
Followed by a coffee↓
 We watch some more:
I got some fuses to fix the problem.
I had a new addition to the kitchen↓
Some new suckers to hold the new doggy tea towels that came yesterday.
We watched Celebrity Googlebox..↓
Then a great series about Darts..
 *Bullseye*
Now to enjoy a bit more Friday Feeling!

The Smell Of Little Green Onions

Back on the Wobbly Work Wheel.
In need of some Monday Motivation...🍾🍾🍾

Now for some breakfast in bed...↓↓
Everyone had πŸ’‹πŸ’‹πŸ’‹ before they all left.
I meanwhile, had a hot shower to get rid of cobwebs...
Got the blog up to date...
Nibble time...
Then it's off out into the sunshine..

Nice bit of music to drive to.

While I chilled in the car park.
I looked at the Birthdays
*Booker T. Jones, US organist (Booker T & MGs-Green Onions) is 74 years.
Valerie Leon, actress (Blood from Mummy's Tomb),is 75 years.
We sadly lost Warren Clark, British actor,  at 67 years old on this day in 2014.
Now onto work...
 *New book alert*

Goes and sees my dad for five minutes.
Back home.
Coffee and nibbles...

I have asked a few people today if any of them watched the Peter Jackson film that was on last night.
Here are some of the comments I received.
"In bed."
"Forgot it was on"
"I'm not into that S***"
"It's getting on my nerves all this about that hundred year old war that finished."
*I'm glad I watched and enjoyed it*
I did my further 2 jobs.
Finally got all the blog posts wrote and published.
Hubby is keeping the bed warm for me...
So without further a do.....
See you tomorrow!
