I'm Not Backing Out!

Pissing in his shoe keeps no man warm for long
- Icelandic Proverb
Welcome to my Saturday Fun 🎈
It is the 8th anniversary of my mum passing away.
If it stops raining later, I might be able to drop in the balloons and lavender plants I bought last week.
Nice hug with a brew.
Breakfast.
Gets kids up.
Dressed.
Loaded up the new case into Sexy Beast's boot.
The rain is in for the day by the looks of it.
Drops off son at his place of work.
The other son and me goes and sees Joe and Tracy.
I try and sort out Tracy's sewing machine out.
I get out my sewing machine.
The coffee is flowing.
I bought a nice wall hanging and some coloured candles.
My youngest son bought a lucky bag.
Packed up sewing machine.
Thanked Joe and Tracy.
Back home to hang up the nice wall hanging.
My son had some nice things in his lucky bag.
My other part of my Aldi order had been delivered.\o/
I got out my felt book to see how much felt I needed for the felt wreath I made.
I used up more than 11 sheets of felt for mine!
It was still raining when we left do some more food shopping.
We picked up son from his work place.
We were trying to get out of the car park,
One car driver was coming in.
We couldn't back up as a car was behind us, and two other cars were waiting to get out as well.
She got out of her car and said to us:
"I'm not reversing on to the main road!".
I rolled my eyes.
We couldn't reverse, and we just sat there.
She reversed a bit and then we could get out of the car park and go.
She had a silver van behind her trying to get into the car park as well.
We dropped one son off at home.
First stop was Morrison's. Our son had to finish off neighbour's food shopping from Friday.
Nice drive out to Stratford's Waitrose.
Got the free Waitrose magazine and newspaper.
Got some bits for my son's cooking lesson for Monday.
Moving onto Stratford's Lidl.
Got more bits in there..
(Stocked up the garlic in the jar!)
Now for a nice drive back home in the rain.
Unloads the shopping.
I starts sorting out the dirty washing when my phone goes...
I won the £100 gift voucher to spend in Joe's shop.
*The nice wall hanging I bought was the item needed to buy to win the £100 gift voucher!*
I put the mixed colour pasta in the saucepan.
I fried up some mushrooms, spinach, and garlic.
Washing machine had been put on 3 times.
The tumble drier has now been up on.
Need to catch up with the Blog.

Big hug with brew.

Heard the sad news that our friend, Joe has lost his seat as a Councillor.
Infact there were no Labour Councillors elected at all....
Bad day for Labour.
Even the Council seat for my district turned blue instead of red!
Gave everyone their sloppy wet 💋💋💋
 Big big sunglasses time!
Gets to my lollypop job in the sunshine.
Tree Shot.
It was unusually quiet for a Friday...
I stopped the lambo..
A few car drivers didn't stop when I put my lollipop stick up in the sky!
I finished in one piece this Friday!
Back home in the sunshine.
Much needed coffee needed.
Then back out to do cleaning job.
The dark roast coffee is nice...:)
Finished cleaning.
Wished everyone a good weekend.
Back home for some light lunch.
Goes back out to do my final shift of the week.
Can't find any car parking spaces again.
I finally find one in the old GP Surgery car park.
RESULT!
I put on my summer coat and my summer hat.
Then the fun starts...
Traffic queues starting to build up.
I was asked:"If I was going to wear my summer coat soon?
"I am wearing my summer coat!"I replied.
I finish in one piece.
Now off home for coffee and crumpet!
Then out with a bag of 70's tunes...
Gets into work.
Loads up my skip for my shift.
Had a nice long play with the hoover.
At least the sun is out.
Bagged up all the dirty cloths for the week.
Finished for the week \o/
Back on the singing route.
Back home.
I had tea.
Quick look in the newspaper.
Eddie Rabbitt  was an American country music singer and songwriter. His career began as a songwriter in the late 1960s, springboarding to a recording career after composing hits such as "Kentucky Rain" for Elvis Presley in 1970 and "Pure Love" for Ronnie Milsap in 1974. Later in the 1970s, Rabbitt helped to develop the crossover-influenced sound of country music prevalent in the 1980s with such hits as "Suspicions", "I Love a Rainy Night" (a number-one hit single on the Billboard Hot 100), and "Every Which Way but Loose" (the theme from the film of the same title). His duets "Both to Each Other (Friends and Lovers)" with Juice Newton and "You and I" with Crystal Gayle later appeared on the soap operas Days of Our Lives and All My Children. He sadly died on this day in 1998 aged 56.
I just flopped into bed without my Sleep Tea and not putting in my ear plugs...
I woke up at 3am to the sound of my hubby's loud snoring...
Ear plugs back in...
Silence is Golden!

&
Strong cup of brew as well.

The kids get a wake up call...
Plus everyone gets lots of wet 💋💋💋 before I left the house.
No big big sunglasses this morning.
Winter coat on..
Tree pic.
It doesn't help that my Lollipop stick keeps turning invisible....
One woman driver goes past my stick everyday,
and never stops!
I however, stopped the blue car that nearly killed me last Friday morning again!
The nice lambo went past me....
Plenty of voom voom....
I am hoping for nicer weather for the afternoon shift...
Finishes in one piece..
Now off to vote...
Facemask on, and brought my own pen!
Made my four crosses on three ballot papers, then into the box they went.
I then got the newspaper and some milk from the Paper Shop.
Still nothing happening to my late dad's house.
Back home.
For a much needed coffee↓
I pan fried the pork chops.
Fried up the remaining black pudding.
Made some sage and onion stuffing.
All put in the oven ready for later.
I was going to repair my son's coat pocket by sewing it back on...
However, he chose it to wear it to school instead.
Now to blog, blog blog about the fun I had on Hump Day!
My Hobbycraft order arrived!
The case for my sewing machine!
Also boxset of 3 films arrived.
We will be watching them at the weekend.
Just in time for lunch...
I was going to wear the lumo trousers as it said on the weather it might rain...
Now to leave the house.
I will wear the boots instead...
Tries to find a place to park near my Lollipop spot...
No room to park anywhere....
Had to park in the Co-op instead.
I had to walk to my spot.
I was chatting with one of the parking marshalls who was directing traffic on where to park in the  car park, so they can have their covid vaccine.
He told a few stories of people trying to park their cars....
Mature women of a certain age.
One dark night, a older woman was coming for her covid vaccine, parked her car on the steps.
There are no steps in the car park...
The steps leading up the road she parked her car.
The RAC had to winch her car up from the steps.
The other story was a mature woman went through the wrong gate (Way out gate), nearly scraped her Land Rover in the process.
She did scrape her car on the wall while trying to park it....
I had my winter coat, gloves, and winter hat, when the sun came out, and I was getting well warm.
What didn't help the situation, I was in the middle of the road, when just as I was about to walk back to the pavement, the male car driver behind me, decided to drive on nearly taking me with him!
He slammed on the brakes.
I having a lucky escape, pointed to the pavement and said straight to him...
"What are you doing? I am going back to the pavement!"
Once back to the pavement, he turned into the car park to have his Covid vaccine!
I just about finished in one piece!
Back home.
For coffee and crumpets...
Now to go back out with a CD of 70s tunes..
I drop off the younger son to help Joe with his fight to be elected back on the Council.
Now to get out the skip ready for work.
At least it's not raining!
Finished ....
Back onto the singing along...
Back home.
I have my tea.
Younger son comes back with one of the leaflets he delivered↓
We both have our tea.
Now to take off those smoking hot pair of roller boots I have had on all day!
Quick look into today's newspaper..
Sleep Tea Time.
Friday Feeling is back tomorrow 🎈
