Surviving Monday....Just!

The problem with beauty is that it's like being born rich and getting poorer - Dame Joan Collins
Welcome aboard my Wobbly Work Wheel🎑
I slept a lot better than Saturday night.
I sorted out my lollypop coat..↓
Now for the coffee and hug↓
I gives everyone sloppy πŸ’‹πŸ’‹πŸ’‹
It's damp and dark↑↓
I had to wear my waterproof trousers..↓
The lorry parked up by my spot.
It did go after 5 minutes
It started to rain, 10 minutes after I started.
It didn't seem a lot busy for traffic to day for a change.
When I got back home,
A lorry was parked over my drive.
I stopped my car, and turned off the engine and waited for the lorry to reverse down the road a bit.
I finally got back on my drive!

I got changed out of my waterproof trousers.
Time for the blue skirt!
Light  lunch↓
Oh dear the rain is back↓
Plenty of singing in the rain...
Quick look in the newspaper↓
Bev Bevan, drummer (ELO & The Move) is 75 years old 🎈
Looks over the fields of fun↓

It was raining during the dinner time.
I left with a red face, even redder than my t-shirt..
When I got back,
I helped my neighbour with his shopping.
I enjoyed a quick coffee and nibble↓

Then off again with my Lollipop 🍭
I chatted with parents, and people walking their dogs.
Five minutes before the end of my shift.
The rain came in...
I was glad to finish..
As it was starting to get dark.
I came back,
Got changed.
Off to The Happy Place Of Work.
I did my bit.
Back to make some turkey stir fry↓
Now to burn that off with yet more singing at job!
I gets back home.
Celebrating surviving Monday with a large mug of Sleep Tea.....
Roll on Tuesday!

Cleaning Out The Dream Catchers

The quickest way to make a million? Marry it. Zsa Zsa Gabor
I don't know what I was sniffing last night..
But I had some serious bad nightmares..
Time to empty those dream catchers out!
  Once I woke up properly...
Breakfast in bed..↓
 With a much needed coffee↓
 Out for a little ride↓
Burcot Garden Centre sent out a email earlier on last week, with a discount code on bird food.
So here we are↓

I bought another Poinsettia,
To keep the other one company...↓
I got £4 off my bill.
Next stop was Lidl's↓
I found something that could cure my hubby's snoring!
 One fellow customer said,
"It won't work!"
I replied,"If it fails, put the pillow over the nose, that will cure it!"
I enjoyed a much needed coffee↓
I gets back home to unpack the food shopping.
Fills up the bird station.
Next to check my tyres on Sexy Beast.
Gets back for a quick lunch.
I wrote yesterday's blog post.
Then it was to get all the things ready for the school and work week.
Even the iron had to come out a day early.
 Baths soon followed...
Even washed my Lollipop coat...
Jack found a Aldi receipt in the Lidl trolley we used earlier...↓
Nice tea...↓
Caught up with more↓
All ready for the tomorrow's Wobbly Work Wheel 🎑

I Know What My Body Clock Needs...

I never had a penny to my name. So I changed my name
 - Rodney Dangerfield
It's not great to wake up at my normal time on a weekday!!!
Alas it's not a weekday....it's the weekend!
(Body clock playing up!)
I took out my earplugs.
Enjoyed listening to the "Sounds of the 60s" with a cup of tea in bed.
 Goes back to sleep ......
Later on it's breakfast time in bed↓
Then it's up up up ↗↗↗↗
Washing machine goes on...
Then it's time to get some fresh air..
The hat is back↓
Drops off son to his boxing lessons.
We carry on to get some more Nectar points..
This week's Private Eye magazine made me laugh↓
We had a nice coffee in the cafe↓
We then picks up son from his Boxing lesson.
I pop into see Joe in Omega Therapies.
He told Jack they had tried to phone him to say he had won the raffle price.
After he didn't pick up his phone, the next ticket holder was going to have it.
I could see Jack's bottom lip drop!
"Surprise!"
"You are the real winner Jack!"
I got some great stuff in his Black Friday sales...
£2.50 :)
I said goodbye to Joe and his sister Tracy.
Dropped off my dad's newspaper on the way home.
I had a quick look at the magazine I bought earlier↓
 with my late lunch↓
Washing machine and tumble driver were put back on.
I meanwhile had to write some blog posts.
While doing that we put some good films on to watch...
We will be watching number 3 tomorrow..
Nicolas Roeg died on this day in 2018 aged 90.
He directed one of my favourite films.
Time for a nibble on pizza↓

Then we caught up on more:
Then it was off to bed as we were yawning too much!
