That's Torn It!

Whoop hoo it's the weekend again.

And it's rains :/

Been out and about.

Trying to find ideas to finish the belated Birthday cake.

After playing with some fondant,

I now have finished James 's Birthday cake.

16 days to go before another Birthday cake is unveiled!

Birthday Time

Tale of two halves today.

Woke up in sunshine.

We were celebrating our 11th year old son's Birthday.

Cards and presents opened.

While he was a school.

Time to decorate the house!

By 2pm, the heavy rain came in.

He loved the surprise when he came home.

At least some of the balloons survived the rain....

Relight My Fire

What a day I have had!

Had a nail removed from one of my car tyres.

Did a extra shift, so it was 3 job Thursday.

Mixed with some Stepfords (shudder).

Still got to finish off my son's Birthday cake for tomorrow!

So to make the most of the sunshine and a chimney pot.

We did burgers in it, in the front garden.

After the first batch of beef burgers,

The fire went out.....

Time to relight my fire....baby! 

Kissing The Pink

Whoop hoo It's my hubby's Birthday.

His card made.Check!

Presents bought.Check!

Cake Made.Not!

Half of the cake covered in fondant in the morning.

Then another 3 hours after work!

It called "Kissing The Pink".

Hubby was well pleased with it!

It even tasted lovely!

It's My Life

It was 3 job Tuesday today.

Troubles,trouble, and more troubles...

My stab vest has been too tight to smile.

I still has got this serious back stabbing problem 

How am I going to cope for 6 weeks?

If people had to read my blog to find out why I was off ill!

Is my life so important to them??

But then again, have they have got nothing going on in their small world??

Perhaps they have nothing more to do, then stir their cauldron!!

Playing With Kenny The Kenwood!

It's Monday once again.

Back on the Work wheel.

Had a slight wobble of the wheel earlier on ;/

The Stab vest was being far too tight, for me to smile!

Birthday cards made, now on to the Birthday cake.

There will be two small Birthday cakes, instead of one big one.

So had a short play with Kenny the Kenwood!

Gives me chance to get one done by Wednesday for hubby's Birthday.

How am I going to emulate cake I made hubby last year? you ask?

Amazing What Coffee & Chat Can Lead To....

Today is the 5th Anniversary of my first meeting with my future hubby.

We met at Bromsgrove Morrisons, for coffee and chat.

We got on like a house on fire.

My happiness returned.

Then I had to tell my first husband it was over between us.

Divorced in July 2011, and remarried in September 2011.

Being married for the second time is like wearing a trusty old shoe!!
