Magic Mystery Tour

When you come to a fork in the road, take it - Yogi Berra
Welcome to my last Saturday in BlackpoolπŸ—Ό
Nice brew with hug.
Had a lovely breakfast.
Then it's to pack up the car in the rain!
Said goodbye to Rhona and Simon.
And off back home...
I reread this week's newspapers...
Then I fell asleep until we stopped off at the next services.
Finally home after 6 hours travelling!
(We had to do Magic Mystery Tour as one junction of the motorway was closed, so we had to go the back way back home!)
Unpacked the car.
Time to unpack the bags!
Washing machine was put on!
Went to get a lucky bag of food.
Quick look into today's newspaper.
Sleep Tea.
Back to our king size bed πŸ›

Welcome to my Sunday πŸ’—
Nice big hug with brew.
The three males of the family went to have their hair cut.
I meanwhile caught up with Friday's blog post.
They came back with fancy haircuts!
Now out for a ride in Sexy Beast.
First to check the tyre pressures.
Then to say hello to my parents.
Then the rain came down!
Nice vintage car on the way home.
Austin Allegro↓
Back home for coffee...
I then wrote yesterday's blog post.
Then out again...
Time to check Hubby's car tyre pressures..
Then off to Co-op for some bargains...
Nice honey, still a bit expensive...
Back home...
Light lunch.
Now to catch up with more of the Hotel Inspector..
We have now caught up with both series that was on Channel 5 catch up.
Tea time.
Getting quotes in for a replacement carpet on the landing. It's been down for nearly 12 years........
Now for a look into today's newspaper.

Jumping Puddles

Anyone who works is a fool.I don't work: I merely inflict myself upon the public - Robert Morley
Welcome to a wet and cold Hump of the Week 🐫
We might be pushed for our daily walk due to the rain :(
Brew and Hug.
Out too late for walk.
Into Sexy Beast we go.
It started to rain on the way back.
It was a good job we didn't go for our walk in the end.
I gave hubby a sloppy  wet πŸ’‹ before he left.
I did it to the kids too.πŸ’‹πŸ’‹.
I emptied all the bins in the house.
Loaded up the dish-washer.
Quick read of the newspaper↓

Good job I wore my rain mac...
As it was still raining when I left for a small ride in Sexy Beast.
Plenty of singing to do in the rain...
The rain had followed me!
I looked across the fields of fun↓
One song describes how it went...
The rain had stopped \o/
More singing to do...
At least it has stopped raining for now.
I had some light lunch.
Then it was time to make the beef and mushroom casserole for later..
Nice bit of cider going in..
The red cooking pot was put in the oven for later.
I then started on yesterday's blog.
Hubby had nipped into the local Lidl by his work. No cleaning station to clean the trolleys.Hardly no one wearing masks.
He made sure he washed his hands when he got back to his car afterwards!
When he got back, he was pouring with rain.
No walking just yet.
As he only brought the green milk.
(I can't drink it no more, as it makes me bad)
We were going to go to Asda and get some blue milk after tea.
The tea was ate.
Now to Asda we go↓
We did a walk about in there....
0.22 miles...
More CDs to singalong with as well↓
Now off to work I go.
Big tune to start with:
There was a lovely moon out tonight.
I caught up with the news,
With some sleep tea.
I hope it gets a bit warmer tomorrow...
So I can take off my thermal vest!
